This song is so frickin great. Going through a divorce, but this song can apply to so many situations or life in general. Why sit around listening to sad, depressing music? Pick yourself up, rise again, and destroy those negative emotions. Well done Hatebreed.
Wow. Just came across this. Metal music in the 80’s helped me when their seemed to be no hope left. Now, in this part of my journey, newly sober, mood and emotional meltdowns on a daily basis, this music is helping me once again. Love and Respect. Peace and blessings from NYCity. 🕉☯️🤘👊
Holy shit, I’m in the shower, and the algorithm put this on for me all by itself self. I was like “wait? What is this? Fuck I know it, but….” It goes so hard, it’s so good. And the production, like it’s more clear and louder than like any studio album channel.
When I was 12 my father passed away, it was a sad moment in my life, but I was used to it somehow. Before that every year of my youth I have seen my grandpapas, grand mamas, uncles and cousins go to the grave. Hatebreed, Slayer, Pantera, Slipknot, Disturbed and so on helped me get over my frustration that I didn't have a family to help me in life with a kind word, this violent music helped me get up and see that I am not the only one in this shithole of emotions and dark thoughts. Now I am in 30s, struggling but never giving up, tnx Hatebreed for giving me the power to continue when everything seemed useless. Be blessed all and I wish all of best to all who have had a rough life so far. P.S. English is not my 1st language so excuse any grammatical error that i have made.

Once had a shotgun to my head they said I wasn't worth the bullets
Now the world is my trigger and I'm here to fucking pull it

I can't hesitate, eyes wide open, pupils dilate
Still here
Set to detonate
I see the swarm
The scavengers await
No sleep, no rest
If that's what it takes to be the best
No sleep, no rest
Must stay driven, I can't relent
Once had a knife to my throat they said I'd wind up in the dirt
I know the ones that doubt me are the ones that really hurt
Still here, I can't hesitate, eyes wide open, pupils dilate
Still here (right here)
Set to detonate
I see the swarm
The scavengers await
No sleep, no rest
If that's what it takes to be the best
No sleep, no rest
Must stay driven, I can't relent
Came from the gutter
Just missed the grave
Now looking down the barrel of today
Start from nothing
Stop [?]
Never put myself in that position again
Now I'm looking down the barrel of today
Once had a shotgun to my head they said I wasn't worth the bullets
Now the world is my trigger, I'll fucking pull it
Once had a shotgun to my head they said I wasn't worth the bullets
Now the world is my trigger and I'm gonna fucking pull it

I would love you to try me. We would have a good fucking time. But we would be friends after.
I won’t lie it makes me cry seeing my four year old daughter rocking out to hatebreed especially this song. She doesn’t know her brother and her were the ones to save me. I was a junkie loser until the day my son was born and I haven’t looked back since. My kids were the barrel and I chose not to pull it
Be better today than you were yesterday.
🤟 I Absolutely Love The Positive Message In This Short But Really Awesome Hatebreed Video! 😎
Hatebreed is the 💣, ever listen to their cover of Slayer's ghost of war!@@
Love these guys. And honestly I love there positive messages. Seriously. These guys kick freaking ass. I can relate. 1 million percent.
Sounds like the same HateBreed I listened to in High School. Mad props, a lot of bands don't stick to their roots.
Damn the rhythm and power in this song IS OVER 9000!
Such a an incredible riff....just magical
This is probably one of the best songs out there for motivation
This comment section is amazing. This song has made an impact on me and seeing everyone else have the experience is mindblowing brings tears to my eyes. Lets kick ass

miss the 90s
Awesome stuff here!!!
When I listen to HATEBREED, so do my neighbors. \m/ Fan for life
This song is so frickin great.
If u ever felt fucked up and listened to hatebreed and u didn't get a better feeling or a badass or positive mood, *PLAY IT LOUDER* !
What a great way to start my morning
Holy shit, I’m in the shower, and the algorithm put this on for me all by itself self. I was like “wait? What is this? Fuck I know it, but….” It goes so hard, it’s so good. And the production, like it’s more clear and louder than like any studio album channel.
hell yeah , I love this song, new fan here !!
Catch them live sometime, It will change your life.
Was going to see them with ffak and parkway drive but corona ruined it also my dads seen them live before I haven't
Metalheads don't need motivational speakers, we have Hatebreed
That riff at 1:30 is crusher
I had someone tell me listening to hatebreed was why I was sad. They said, it's called looking down the barrel. Sometimes you just can't teach people
You know, I never had the hatebreed bug, but I might actually buy this album.
Isaiah Perry its not a bug quit the parasite analogies
clean up the facade live life more
I like this hatebreed song because it gives a positive message and tells people what anxiety is like or what the music industry is like
Hatebreed has always helped me through some hard times!!
Truth
I can't judge so I won't. It serves a purpose and it has served it well. Keep on rocking in the free world.
Respect for the CROWBAR hoodie.. Great song btw.
Phil Anselmo stop throwing up nazi salutes

GhoulReaperAsh you're a fucking tool and what's happening in South Africa will not happen here remember that let it sink in
Uhhhhhhhhh what lmao
I saw both at the Forge together, with Twitching tongues and Acacia Strain...
I couldn't, so I put in Hatebreed. Now I can. PMA all day.
hatebreed allways gets me out of my negitive thinking and into a positive path for the day ,god bless god guys for making positive music in a sick world !
Hello sir, do you have fourty minutes to talk about keeping a positive mental attitude in the mosh pit?
+TakeTo TheShadows I do say sir, this pit is quite excellent today! Smashing circle momentum wouldn't you say!? Care for some tea?
+METALMADE FITNESS care for some crowd shouts and a leisurely stage dive sir?
TakeToTheShadows , Hahahaha
TakeToTheShadows Do I EVER
Always with a smile in my face
That riff is off the charts
Man, this song hits me so fucking hard.. I love that the lyrics are simple and aggressive. Thanks Hatebreed for helping me going through the hardest time in my life.
Even at my age, I have some horrible times. I rely on music immensely. This band has pulled me through many dark days... especially lately. MLLH&R to these guys.
É exatamente isso!! Essa música é essencial.
I love hatebreed. My first song
