Thunder tiger Neptune refit. Basically I had to order replace parts where ever I could. I I had to replace the dam tamiya connectors with XT60, better motor, I replaced lead acid battery with a 6200mAh Lipo, replaced pump, added new lighting for when you run it at nite in your pool, Seals , internal parts. Please note RC subs can't run in salt water pools. Took a while to get the rare parts

You said the 900mhz stuff wont go more than 5ft down, i thought with that extra wattage on that module would allow you deeper dives??? Guess I'll stick to my 72mhz pcm

yes and no. In reg water at a lake or pond 900mhz should be able to go deeper. However in a pool, there are to many chemicals. I dont have access to clear lake water pass 6 ft. Yes I tested at 6 feet running at 2 watts and it worked. that being said, I had to use a external battery to power the module as it was using a ton of power.
