Omg I LOVE your style of teaching! I have always been scared to make sushi rice because several people have told me that it’s like a “fine art” and “very tricky.” Well, I watched your clear and concise video and WOWZERS! It’s better than at sushi restaurants! We’re having a sushi-making party at my house right now, and everyone says “tell him it’s true! The best sushi rice ever!!!”

Needless to say I will be making extra rice next time. I love that your video was short and to the point. Thanks again!

Either the rice/white wine vinegar I got here in Lithuania is stronger than the states, or the ratios are way off
The vinegar overpowered everything and made the rice difficult to enjoy, so if you're doing this for the first time, I'd reccomend to put the seasoning in sparingly and taste as you go

Thank you for the video! But why would you dry the rice, if you are going to add water anyway, when you start cooking? 🤔

When you mixed together the vinegar mixture, did you do it with the heat on or without heat?

okay so I re watched this multiple times and I noticed he keeps his portable electric stove on "low" setting, and the knob doesn't move even when combining sugar + salt + vinegar. I'd say yes, you can make it a bit warm but I'd definitely not boil it

@@Dalhax Heat on that's how you melt the sugar into the vinegar

So good I paired it with some general tso's chicken and it's perfect. Got over my fear of accidentally burning rice!
