Difficult to determin the 'winner' of this test. In general I have the impression that the 'after washing' sequences show a slightly darker shade of the surface whereas the 'polished version' shows that alll minor scratches that still were seen on the 'washing sequences' were gone, whereas the black colour shade appeared to me slightly 'lighter' by direct comparison. But maybe it would have been a better idea not to used electric light for this presentation but a cloudy day outside the workshop.

Sonax brilliant shine detailer is not meant to be used as polishing compound. It is a sea lent after every wash so don't take its result as general Sonax performance. Sonax has a profiline polishing compounds for that purpose.
Why did you test polish with a spray wax? Sonax have a whole range of compounds and polish, such as 4-6 perfect finish, cut and finish, and so on. Scholls and sonax are the best, the rest dry out too quick.

I've used Mer car Polish for years and it's the best one out there.

That cheap K2 polish from poland (polish polish) has best price to quality ratio
