Families are complex structures, and hide many secrets. We only know a fraction of this story. It's absurd that people assume the Suttons were wonderful parents, and entirely blameless in the destruction of their family, simply because they are rich and successful.
In truth, the established facts of this case point to the opposite conclusion. Christopher Sutton's fate, residing in a maximum security prison he will only leave in a body bag, did not come about due to good parenting!

Please try to keep your morals out of it when looking at this case. Look at the many factors that contributed to the crime. Like his innate anger stemming maybe from separation from his parents? Or maybe just anger at having to follow the rules both in the home and socially. To me it looks like a spoiled kid who has what is known as EAD. Explosive Disorder. And probably some other kind of mental issue. Please don’t get me wrong, this kid deserves whatever punishment he ended up getting, but he also needs treatment for whatever is going on there. And Karma can have him as far as I’m concerned. I only took issue with the word *adultery*, because it implies religion. Which is fine as long as you apply those standards to every other crime that’s similar to this one. There are plenty of these where the victims are innocent of any wrongdoing. What about them? By your standards, they must have done something wrong to deserve it. You can’t blame the victims or victim this includes the perpetrator. Sorry for the rant, but so many times I’ve seen in my field of employment (sergeant of sizable city in the Midwest not too far from Chicago 23 years yea). Obviously this is just my humble sort of educated lol opinion. Have a good day everyone and stay safe out there!
