Hi Dani, as a nurse, I want to tell you how much I appreciate your channel. I have followed you for some time. I notice that you get some "crazy ugly" comments from time to time. I don't understand that... but I hope it does not ever stop you from providing this great public service. Even after I started practicing nursing, I never valued a healthy diet until I became a patient myself (autoimmune disease). You are very accurate with your information. Sadly Doctors don't even receive the training that is needed in "food health". That's why they refer out to dietician's.:) Please keep it up and don't tire out, and ignore the "crazy/ugly". Many thanks, Amanda

Tried your recipe yesterday with a few variations - added mushrooms, roasted beets and egg substitute (with chia seeds and water); and left out the red bell pepper and egg white. It was a pleasant surprise to my husband. He really enjoyed it! Love your channel! You explains the process very well and make cooking fun! Thank you!

I'm definitely going to give these a try! I usually use pineapple juice in with my meatloaf, which gives a hint of sweetness, so I may add that to these, as well. Thanks, Dani!

This sounds so yummy, Dani! I have to try it soon! I have made a veggie muffin version using mashed kidney beans, finely chopped cremini mushrooms and a little shredded pepper jack cheese instead of the ground turkey. It was a hit with the family.

I did turkey meatloaf muffins a lot, but my husband got tired of cleaning the muffin tin, lol! Now I just make everything into a loaf and we slice it into 8-12 pieces. Meatloaf is a staple in my house - my 4 year old LOVES it! I like adding a little glaze on top. I usually mix 2 T of ketchup with 2 tsp of Worsteshire sauce, and then brush it on top of the meatloaf, and it is AMAZING!

Made these with my 4 year old as she is at home with the chicken pox and she is thoroughly enjoying these & great to know these are nutrient dense while her appetite is low. My 8 year old chose to have hers in a wrap after school...then another! Definately a new lunchbox/quick tea staple for our house. Though I think I converted the amount of meat wrongly as my mix was quite wet but added another cup of oats and we ended up with 16...they still tasted great :)

Halfed the recipe and made some substitutions based on what I had/like. Carrots, white onion, and garlic for the veggies. Substituted cayenne for the chipotle (used 1/8 tsp). 1 full egg, Whole rolled oats (1/2 cup + a little more when I thought the pre-cooked loaf seemed too moist). And, I cooked it as one loaf, not as muffins. Turned out great. The cayenne gave it a nice pop. I cut a half+ into individual servings and stored in the freezer. The rest will give me two servings this week.
Ever since I started trying to eat cleaner (about a year ago), I have been meaning to add a turkey/oats meatloaf to my meal planning. This was my first attempt at any turkey meatloaf, and I really liked it. I did finish the veggies in the chicken stock, and I think I helped. The worcestershire definitely adds flavor. I would not have thought to use cumin in meatloaf, and it is another reason why the recipe works.
Will make a full recipe next time.
    Thanks.

These were so yummy and convenient to have on hand for a protein source. Don't like chipotle, so made them with parsley, sage, rosemary and thyme, for a more poultry seasoning taste. Also didn't have worchestershire sauce on hand so used soya sauce instead. So this is a really versatile recipe and you don't have to have the exact ingredients. Thanks for sharing. Really enjoying your channel.

I've made similar with just the meat before, like the regular recipes,
in a patty or ball but What an amazing idea. You can probably do half
cooked brown rice, maybe even some sort of instant rice if you don't
like the oatmeal, which I dont really care for.
Its probably supposed to be a high nutrition, low carb recipe, but What
about half cooked diced potatoes. Do whatever seasonings you like.

Thank you for your wonderful food muffin ideas. Practicality, energy stability, and a tendency to over eat at times is why meatloaf and egg cup muffins ought to do the trick. Now at 69 I noticed my endurance is diminishing and it's driving me crazy so it's time to keep my metabolism more balanced throughout the day. This, an apple and water are easy to carry whether running errands, cycling or walking for miles besides timing my watch to remind me to eat. Along with all that I'll easily have something to share with others a friend or homeless person on the street. Cool!

I use half the turkey meat you used, because I am only making for two so I halfed and guessed the measurement I was bummed when I added to much of something liquidity... so it kind of came out similar to pudding, but I went ahead and decided to cook them and they came out fine I was suprised how good they were still and moist! Thank you so much for this recipe I will be sure to do it right next time though if I fail I am sure they will be very good. 😊

I make meatloaf muffins in the summer, when it's hot and I don't feel like cooking every day. They freeze well and are so good to have around, to serve with a salad, or sliced, in a sandwich. Kids like them, topped with ketchup or BBQ sauce, since they are the perfect size.

You can freeze them raw, but they have a shorter shelf life, that way...I freeze mine, cooked.....just put the loaves on a cookie sheet, pop them in the freezer until they are frozen solid, then I put them in small freezer bags for easy thawing.

They feel very special that everyone asks them to make it for parties and act like it's theirs. They were stupid enough to tell me thst too. Yeah I'm really thrilled that they took credit, and are getting praised for copying me and don't even mentgion THEY merely stole my unique idea that I'm known for bringing to parties. Tacky.

Hi Dani, have you ever try cauliflowers instead of oatmeal for this recipe?

I use salsa to make turkey muffins and sometimes I add shredded cheese.

Can these be frozen? Please do something for single seniors that cook for one. Love your videos.

I freeze things such as this all the time, I will roast a large own of veggies and make TV dinners, adding a small portion of something like these. These individual loafs will be perfect.

I see that you’ve suggested almond meal. I'm wondering if I can substitute quinoa or lentils for the oats as well?

A request - can you feature the benefits of cooking oil in a video? And also can you give ideas on what foods go eat to beat the bloat!
