"Yes, these trucks are getting more expensive, but you're getting a lot more." Typical sales pitch. 😂😂😂
Youre getting less actually theyre not being honest. The v8 today is worse than the v8 from 15 years ago. It used to be steel now its aluminum. Theyve skimped all over in ways they hope you cant see or wont notice.
“Lower trim level”, still $50k+. Absurd for an everyday person who uses their truck for truck things.
Ford has to pay for all those UAW raises that the UAW forced down the throats of the big 3 last fall!!!
This truck is worth about $41,000.00!!!
@@LWRC this truck is worth $35,000
They are all too expensive
@@adammoke8949 100% agree. I bought a brand new 2008 F250 Lariat 4x4 in 2008 for $60k with the powerstroke. It is absurd some of these f150 xlts are that expensive. Makes me sick.
@@LWRC Man keep believing the anti union bullshit. They raised the prices due to supply chain issues and the cost of everything rising. Not only that but also not making management and the shareholders sad they would get less money.
Had to watch 16 minutes to find out he's 6'3" but he got it in the vid.
At least belt and shoes have been matching lately.....
Yeah.. 😂hahah I was asking. How tall is he.
😂
💀
The height of the driver was only relevant when talking about the interior......not all trucks are suitable for taller heavy set drivers.
I just got a new 2024 STX with the 5.0 in April. We just took a 1200 mile trip and this truck is everything I expected!
how much
Hilarious. A $50K truck without a bed liner. Optional extra. But, I got the "got to talk to the manager", treatment at the 5 minute mark. Because I've not been in a car dealer for a few years, it took me two minutes to walk out.
Crazy that a STX goes for like 54k...
It’s because they keep on adding features.
Gotta subsidize the ev people don’t want
Down here in Tampa you can get a 24 STX for 43k which is a great deal.
Not crazy. Sad. It is sad
@@timschultes6467does it come with heating and A/C? 😅
I like the column shifter
Wish we had a TC Customs down in Foley/Gulf Shores.
This dude is so much fun to listen to.
I still love my 2018 STX and can only ever see me replacing it with another STX someday. Thanks for the STX love. (:
Great video with lots of useful info. I’m considering a ‘24 XLT Powerboost at the end of this year. Hopefully you’ll do a similar video on the XLT.
That chartreuse badge is why I want it! A fisherman’s go to color! 😮
I have a 2019 stx w/ 2.7 . Added a leather steering wheel off of a xlt for $200 and Katskinz leather seats. Happy with what I have.
How have your katskinz leather seats held up?
@@matty1053 Look like new. Holding up very well.
I have the same truck, 2018 model. Steering wheel was the first thing to go! The hardest, weirdest urethane material I have ever experienced in my nearly 50 years alive. New XLT takeoff on eBay for $250 and all is good. Looking back now, I don't know how it managed to get by my scrutiny during the test drive. Truly awful!
Really dig the STX with paint matched bumpers and trim. Looks super clean! Just built one online; 5.0L V8, 4x4, Bedlined and max trailer tow pkg showed $56k before taxes. That’s a lot of truck for a lot of money.
I have a 2020 STX it’s a great truck especially with the 2.7 eco
I enjoyed the video thank you for uploading
Great video thank you
The neon lime MAKES the STX !!
Probably STX will be the best seller
Took a ride in the 24 STX. The road/tire noise is unbelievable. Hard to imagine spending 50k on one of these. Absolutely wild
Any idea if the higher trim levels are better?
@@houbert the Lariat is better for sure. More sound deadening
@@darrylp6938 what about the XLT? Wondering if you can add your own sound deadening material in the panels. Sucks to have to do that but yeah
@@houbertmy 23 xlt is pretty quiet it’s got a soundscreen
I just got a 24 XLT with the sound deadening glass, truck drives like a Cadillac not joking @@houbert
Hands down the best bang for your buck!
Those tie downs on the tailgate are awesome.
This was the best overview and sales pitch for this truck.....im sold .....going to my dealership here in Texas ❤
Bros gonna be paying 50k+ for a entry level truck 😂
@@mguardiola6302 Maybe he needs a truck quickly or was already in the market awhile. Based on the fact he's looking at an STX, it's obvious he's buying what he needs and not making some frivolous Cowboy Cadillac purchase. This is what $50k buys right now. Get over it.
Thank you for the video currently have a 18 STX and love it it’s nice to know that they have improved on it.
On a sidenote, you don’t need background music in the video I’m listening on headphones, and it’s very distracting , but we really enjoy your channel. Keep putting out the great videos. Thank you.
Yeah they improved them but at a cost.
I had a 2019 stx 5.0 traded for a ram bighorn . I miss my ford bro
Love the neon
Loving the neon 😂
Love my 19stx
I love my Altus Blue ‘22 STX.
Great video. Would like to see the stx 201A some day.
I actually love the touch of neon
That's a nice truck!
2:18
I have to disagree.
I think the neon/yellow accent on the fender looks really cool, especially with the gray/silver metallic. Gives the STX trim that sporty look that Ford was going for.
I think this STX and even the base XL are the best value F-150’s available. And nicely equipped for such low end trims. Btw, get the 5.0 Coyote V8 while you still can because before too long, you’ll have to step up to a Super Duty if you still want V8 power. (Hopefully I’m wrong.)
When does the Roush supercharger tune come out for the 2024
I like the neon yellow thing
Neon looks is awesome
Damm front seat is one size fits all
I wish it had an auto dimming rear view mirror, and does it come with autostart? I thought the 2.7 was standard?
Give us a little video on the Tremor series, 6' 3"!
I bought a Tremor back in September...Loving it so far for what thats worth.
Any updates on when the fp800s will be available?
Booyah 👊🏽 😁 👍🏽
But Mitchel Watts 54K plus tax title and license is just under 60K in California. Wow 😮
In my opinion the STX is the best truck for your money
Love the neon.
Does the STX have ACC with lane centering?
So, what going on with the F150 ABS sensors? I just purchased a 2023 Lariat and didn't get ten miles from the dealership when 5-6 messages start lighting up my instrument cluster. Take it back to the dealership, they tell me the front rt ABS is bad. Could be two days, two weeks or two months before they can get a replacement. Judging from the number of videos pertaining to the F150 ABS system issues it's been going on for quite a while.
24 lariat video thanks
You didnt show the price tab on that model
Crazy my 2014 equinox has a switch blade key with a remote start button built into it, you telling me on a brand new truck that isnt possible to do lol ?
I love my new 2024 F-150 STX Black with BAP and getting my katzkin leather seats done
the thing that got me the most is the turn key in 2024 , I had a push button in my 2012 Hyundai.
Had push to start on my 2005 RAV4!!!
Dude sounds easer to follow and has great showmanship. Easy sailsman. Bet he makes bank selling stuff.
Need to some khaki pants for the teal shirt, those colors are bugging me. Digging the shoes though.
Can you get a power driver seat in Stx?
From all the videos from the dealers I have watched I havent seen any tremor or those equipped with the two doors tailgate. Did ford canceled that feature?
Does the STX come with a center console shifter? I only see column shifters
No it only come column shift.
Just got one a week ago in avalanche and blackout. Looks like a higher end truck. Not a lot of features but I learned to hate those features on my raptor. Plus, I got a v8.
The v8 is the way
Glad you can get an stx with a 5.0. In Canada you can only get a 2.7 that I’m aware of unless it changed
For 2024 you can now get the 5.0 in the STX in Canada too.
The real question is do they make a standard cab short bed stx?
Can you drive it so the yaw helps you back in the lane please
Honest question: do you ever cover the Ranger? I've seen Broncos, F150s, Mavericks, and even Explorers, but I don't recall a video like this for the Ranger. My oldest son would love to hear about it.
its tough, an stx f150+boost or the new 25 Ford Explorer ST tuned?
a very hard decision
I’m confused because a lot of dealerships sell the XLT without floor boards and it looks like it should be an XL now the packages are confusing to me my 2019 XLT looks like a Lariat in the inside and it has WiFi with the 201 chrome package not really understanding it and got it for 53k and it had the rear sliding window plus bed liner I guess I did get a deal love my truck and it’s a super crew cab
Got my “new” 2023 STX 5.0 4x4 last week for 48OTD still pricey but not too bad.
So many great features on the STX,but Ford you have to put a power drivers seat
That neon is a deal breaker
Neon -5 points. Not ev +100 points
I personally like the neon yellow accents in some of the available colors 🤷🏻♂️
what colors can you get?
I dont.
I’ll trade you my all black side badges off my 23 stx for those. I think the hot neon is sexy
How much xtra for the Roush Package
No 3.5 ecoboost in the 2024 STX. I have a 2021 STX with 3.5 and FX4 package. The 3.5 is a must for me. Intake, cat back and performance tune and your set.
Just bought a 2000 f150 i think thats the newest ford i can still enjoy. The engine just works and doesnt try to adjust valves and shut down and idle and all that stuff they started doing
Hahaha, oh yes it does.
@@AK_Ray what do you mean yes it does. It literally doesnt
@@everettstormy all engines offered in an f150 for over a decade has variable valve timing.
@@AK_Raythe year 2000 is more than a decade, right? Cam phasers we’re 2004 on the 5.4 I think. His truck predates all that

That green you love... I have it figured out why... IT'S BABY~ POOP YELLOW GUACAMOLE!
Respectfully, Seth
Idk. I kinda like the neon accent and upholstery better than the bed sticker and upholstery in my 2023 STX.
Being in cold 🇨🇦 climates I wish they would have this new stx with heated front seats at least. For the cost of the truck it should have heated front seats and power front seats.
Love this track. But I need power seats 😢
The previous gen fords from few years ago XLT trim with the massive chrome front looked better in my opinion. If Ford offers some rebates and discounts I'm sure they will sell a ton of these. Sticker price is too high. Good review.
does it have a transmission stick!!!!!
Ford should let you put whatever grill you want on whatever trim level.
Bought a brand new 2012 f150 fully loaded stx off the lot for 23k out the door, one of these new ones costing 50k or more is actually insane
Would be real nice if they could get them to the dealers first. Literally haven’t seen the first one in person yet.
For 2024, the STX is now its own trim level. It used to be a package for the XL trim level
The biggest bummer I found is that you can no longer configure a 2.7 payload package for 2024. The 5.0l isn't weak, but the 2.7 eats its lunch unladen from a stop, and especially with a load. I had an 18' STX with the 2.7 payload package, and it stickered for 42k. STX is now a trim level, basically taking over the spot of XLT as the volume model. That being said, that is a 25% jump in price in 6 years, and again, mine had additional usefulness of a 9.75" rear end and uprated chassis and GVWR. I feel the product planners have a disconnect from the engineers, as the 2.7 has been the most purchased motor since its inception, and has had the fewest issues per 100 of any Ford motor the past 25 years. If they really wanted to simplify production, the 8.8" rear end should be a fuel efficient option that no one actually specs for lot orders so they can at least have their CAFE pie. So no, as a functional truck, we are now getting less, for a whole lot more. Add to that the high interest rates, and the massive depreciation from the inevitable incentives due to the slow market, and you get spiraling stagnation. Unfortunately, a lot of dealers won't be able to weather this storm. I can appreciate trying to put a positive spin on this to turn over the accumulating inventory, but this situation is a hard stinky turd that is very difficult to polish. All sales across every brand are down 30% plus YOY. What you will start seeing is people hauling 2 yards of dirt in Mavericks, with the license plate scraping the ground, and the hubs crying for dear life. Although thank you Ford for keeping the column shifters on the " will actually be used as a truck" editions of the 150. Ford may even start selling cars in North America again, just to have an economical option. The 80's are back folks.
Everything is standard now on the base package, including $20k more in price from 10 years ago.
my 21 and 23
has the shifter saftey lol
@9:48 That's a touch screen?
I have a 97 regular cab with 6.5 bed with 4.6 V-8 in Lariet trim; 108K mi with rebuilt front end, new brakes and tires all around. It runs great with dual exhaust; it doesn't burn or leak oil.
I love the new trucks with all the bells and whistles, but I might drive 3K mi/yr doing odd things around the house during the year. So, the rational to sell my current truck to buy this or the XL model just isn't there for me.
My 2015 F150 fully loaded lariat. Heated and cool seats. Heated rear seats. Pano roof. 4wd. Bedlined. Heated steering wheel. Remote start. 77k miles. Is still a better value. After market mods. Bds 6inch lift 2.5 fox performance elite front and rear . 12inch vertical touch screen. Etc etc. I look for a reason to sale my truck for something new and QUICKLY REALIZE it’s not worth it. The new trucks don’t compare. Oh I have auto high beams to lol. Honestly my 2015 has everything I mentioned
Cool. I’d still take a new Tremor over that modded stuff.
Sooo, you just typed all of that to humble brag?
Got it.
You'd be a fool to sell it considering you paid a stupid high amount for it.
was gonna go to sleep then this popped.. must get a samich and coffee now.
What does STX stand for?
I think i'll miss physical gauges on the dash. Especially when driving at night
All that safety tech is mandated. That’s why all vehicles have a backup camera standard
No freedom. Only the freedom to pay more. Tyranny. Mandates arenthe tyranny that keeps me away from cars i spend my money on motorcycles because im bot getting robbed by scumbags calling me poor if i dont fork over my asset accountnto drive an overpriced scam clunker
Hi! I’m thinking of getting a used F-150 as daily work truck. I have a commute of 40 mile one-way (1.5 hrs) then another 1hr drive home in horrid SoCal traffic. I haul mostly network cabling installation equipment in the bed, and do not tow.
What model year, engine and grade do you recommend? I would like to have some of the newer active safety features such as the automatic emergency braking system to avoid front collisions, but not as critical as long-term reliability and durability. Any suggestions for a late model
F-150 with Direct and Port Injection. Also, what immediate and affordable engine and transmission mods for reliability and durability are recommended? I’m not looking for more power, just long-term reliability and durability as I don’t have too much money and need a truck for work and personal use. Thank you!
This is absolutely only a mid-cycle refresh. The only major updates are the front and rear styling on the STX.
WE DON'T NEED AN UPGRADE. WE NEED AFFORDABLE TRUCKS AGAIN.
I’m really interested in the price of this amazing one from Ford
It no longer comes with integrated trailer brakes??
I thought trailee brake was always an option you could select next to the tow package
Next to the guy, the F150 turned into the F1.5
This truck stickers for over $50k USD but no one actually pays that much. Even in Canada if you shop around its not hard to find a deal for 20% off MSRP or more. Back in 2020 I purchased my Lariat for $20k off list. Great truck but looking to get something smaller now.
Love my 09 F150 I purchase brand new. Buying a new Titan this year. Want a F150 but dont want the unnecessary technology or electric steering.
Yoo!!
I like my 2023
16:30 “If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.” Now let me show you this all brand new completely redesigned F150.
I have 465000 miles on my 2005 f 150, i think i may bite the bullet and pick one of these up soon.
How come my 2023 F250 Lariat doesn't automatically shifts to Park? I have a much more expensive truck.
It should, a '22 STX I drove has the auto park feature...
