Heads up that the bolts inside the wheel well you're referring to about 3:24 do not need to be removed to remove the headlight housing, only the plastic clip needs to be released and the two bolts on the front of the housing by the grill. Nonetheless this was some helpful info thank you!
I watched a couple videos (thanks for making them, fellas!!) while figuring out how to swap my bulbs and you're not the only one that mentioned removing the hardware on the back. But it's definitely easier to leave those bolts in place! @@ZachHollenbaugh
now you just need switch backs for the turn signals they lit up white but turn to yellow when you blinker turns on i have them on mine plus all my lights are led i have even put these cores on to the wires so you dont get feed back on the radio
@@ZachHollenbaugh i know one of my led headlights burned out i ordered reg bulbs till i can afford new led lolbut i left it half taken apart so i can do it real fast next week when bulbs show up
I have a 2017 Dodge ram 2500 and my lower orange marker lights are out I took off the headlight and the plastic backpiece and I see the two headlight bulbs but I cannot get to the two lower orange ones. Do I have to replace the whole headlight or is there a way to get to them orange bulbs, cause I do not see any way to get to them
Whoever designed this system should be made to change every bulb that burns out for eternity. What was wrong with the old system of removing the chrome surround, taking out two screws and installing the new bulb?
I've changed mine several times and never done any of this. Its actually quick and easy.
Apparently you can change it all from the compartment on the back if your skilled lol. We didn't know at the time

The H11 bulbs are for low beam and 9005s are for highbeam
Do you need to program any thing on the truck to switch from halogen to led? No ‘light out’ indicator? Or flickering?
We didn't have that issue when we did it! It may vary model to model but so far no flickering or indicators

He may end up doing that! Sorta a hassle getting to them compared to other trucks, but may be worth it!

I honestly am not sure, but I would imagine there has to be a way. A full replacement I imagine would be pretty expensive

I can't seem to find my order info in my email, but make sure you order the right led bulb, thr correct size is the main thing!

You can replace the headlights through the wheel well flap. I believe that is what it's for lol

Bro just remove the headlight housing ...acccess panel in the wheel well DO NOT REMOVE THE GRILL
