That was a time that you just open the hood and with a #10 wrench, you were able to replace it.. Now you need a Technician course to replace a single light bulb
Jesus H. Christ! I miss my '75 f-100 custom. This is fucking stupid. A 30 second job turned into a 3-5 minute job. This world's going to hell engineers just don't know shit man. Glad I could vent to the void.
My low beam light where 9005 bulbs and the round disk where not installed on my 2016 Ram 1500, there were 5 screw 5/16 screws which I had to removed the access the bulb. Everything else was spot on. I can’t figure out how to post photos of the back of my headlight assembly.
Take the front end of your truck apart. Try to remember where you put all the parts. Disconnect 17 plugs for unrelated items. Try not to destroy all of the plastic clips on the covers. Yeah, a real "user friendly" vehicle.
What he doesn't mention is that the wheel and tire are in the way of being able to see that retention clip. Unless you have a generous lift kit or you remove the wheel and tire, you won't be able to see that clip, no matter which side you turn the wheel to it's stop.... That trap door is 2.5 inches from the tire tread. #$-@*"€π√¢∆£!!!

When an engineer is an idiot, he makes a major overhaul out of a simple operation, such as changing a light bulb.
Just be glad you don't own a beamer check on that price
