Absolutely gorgeous!! So glad your video popped up! I need to go find an old sink and try this!

thank you I really appreciate that. and yes find yourself an old sink and have fun make sure you post pictures.
I am building a new bathroom in my house with recycled fixtures. Thank you really inspired me. Amen brother!
Thank you I really appreciate that comment.
Thank you for teaching me… this video literally just push me to start doing my own thing
This helped me so much!! I have been all over RUclips looking for diy epoxy sink remodels and out of the 30-40 videos I watched, yours was the easiest and most self explanatory "Epoxy DIY/How To" I've watched! I can't wait to put it to the test. Something tells me I'll have great success 👌
Thank you for this comment and I do my best to explain what I'm doing. And I hope it is able to help you in whatever you are planning on putting epoxy on. Hopefully you will be able to get it done and post pictures for all to see I would love to myself thanks again.
You do the best re-dos of bathroom sinks of anyone!
Bless your heart thank you so much for this comment.
Please don’t ever stop what you are doing that’s so cool. I use resin for pen turning but I would never imagined it on a sink . definitely gonna sub. God god bless you sir
Thank you so much for that comment it means more to me than you know. I don't plan on stopping anytime soon unfortunately though I got to get another camera mine broke saving the money to get one is the hard part but as soon as I can replace it I will carry on thank you again for your very nice comment.
Found the right person to help me thank you it looks absolutely beautiful
Bless your heart thank you so much I really appreciate this comment if indeed I'm the person that has helped you if that's the case I'm completely satisfied thank you again.
Definitely made it easy !!! Have me confidence in myself
Thank you, you can do it it's not very hard.
You do absolutely amazing work I would like to support your work and I'm sure other people would also God bless you.
Thank you so much for your kind words I really do appreciate them. And if you're still interested in supporting the channel I just started a patreon if that would be something you would be interested in the page is still under construction but it is up and running thank you again.
That sink is sooooo dope! I was going to rip my double sink out and build a new countertop, expoxy and then add vessel sinks. But after seeing this video, I think I’ll leave the existing sinks and just add the expoxy this way. Very very nice job Sir! 🥰
Thank you so much I really appreciate that.
@@LiquidCreationsCo2609 looks fantastic. Quick question sir. Does the added epoxy/thickness affect the sink hardware when it gets replaced?
@@alcolyles8914 thank you. And to answer your question no it doesn't affect the hardware being reinstalled.
This is dope.i just did my bathroom these exact colors and going to try for this sink
Thank you I really appreciate this comment if it's possible when you get the rest of your bathroom done I would love to see pictures of the finished product.
Very well explained thank you 👍🏾👍🏾
Love your work! Keep it up and God bless you !
Thank you so much I really appreciate your comment.
sending prayers to you and your wife during this difficult time. Miss seeing more videos and hope you return because you are extremely talented! God Bless you!
Thank you for your kind words. This virus has caused me to lose my job and it's hard to keep up with bills and a sick wife on top of that. Believe me I want to be making more videos and putting out that is something I love doing but on top of everything The one and only camera that I have witch is a Canon EOS M-50 it stopped working and I took it in to have it looked at and they told me that it can't be fixed. And I just don't have the money to get a new one believe me I wish I did because I'm so close to getting monetization on RUclips and that would help a lot with making videos with the money part of it anyway. Sorry to vent to you just at the end of the road but Thank you again for your kind words it really means a lot.

@clear jar Thank you for that nice comment I really appreciate it. If it was my sink I would go with epoxy because the choices of color and the design that you can achieve are only limited by your imagination. Great awesome Job
Thank you I appreciate that.
Great job. Do you have any suggestions how to do the back splash on an installed double sink, please?
If it were me I would get my epoxy mixed up and let it set up for a little while so it'll get thicker than what it would be if you just mixed it and poured it out that way it wouldn't run off the backsplash so fast or you could get a thickening agent to put in it either way it's going to be a little bit hard to get it to match the rest of the sink exact whichever way you do it make sure you put enough color on the backsplash so it don't all run off I hope this helps some.
Simple.. that is not! That is the most beautiful sink I’ve ever seen!
Thank you so much I really appreciate that.
First epoxy I’ve seen with multi color. I have a fiberglass tub I need to redo! I
I love doing epoxy work the tubs are a little more complicated but can still be done.

You are more than welcome and thank you for watching the video. I have plenty more of them to watch.
I love it
Thank you I appreciate that.
I just found this video and channel. I loved watching you work. It was super soothing to watch the colors run together to create such beautiful work. I have a few questions. How much does someone charge for something like this? I would love to have this done on my counters. I want to try it myself but too afraid to ruin them. Do you have any suggestions on items to start with to work out the growing pains of epoxy. Thanks!
Well first thank you I appreciate your comment. If I could suggest starting out I would get me some sample boards and practice before I just Dove right in and try to do my countertops that way you get familiar with the epoxy and how it's going to act. As far as how much it cost to do something like this it all depends on how many different colors is used and the technique that somebody has to do to achieve what the customer wants for example the sink in this video was it $280 sink once it was all done
So beautiful
Thank you so much.
That's BEAUTIFUL! How can I still do the backsplash if my countertop sink is attached to my cabinet? Does a hair dryer or blow torch work the same as your heat gun? Thank you so much! Your work is GORGEOUS!
If the sink is still attached to the base you will have to do a much simpler design with your epoxy. Butt with just a little more work you can remove the sink from the base and do any design your heart desires.
And I really do appreciate your comment.
Very beautiful
Thank you I appreciate it.
bravo...continu je te souhaite bonne chance
Thank you so much.
Beautiful job . Amazing g what you do with epoxy and paint . Question , what to use for cleanup after using sink ? Thankyou so much for this well explained step by step video , AND for free . God bless you for educating others like myself .
Thank you so much for your comment it means a lot. Any mild household cleaner will work personally I use vinegar and water to clean mine. One thing you do not want to use and that is something that's abrasive. I've had customers tell me three years later that they claim they'res with mild bleach water.
This sink looks fantastic. Love those colors. Does this epoxy have a high odor? I know the spray paint does.
Thank you I appreciate that. No the epoxy has zero VOC. No odor at all some epoxy does normally the tabletop epoxies do not. And yes you are right the spray paint does.
You rock!!!!
Thank you so much I really appreciate that 😊
Fabulous work! Would you recommend using the Total Boat Epoxy on a tub? If not, do you have any recommendations?
Thank you so much for your comment and yes I would absolutely recommend total epoxy for a tub when this epoxy was formulated it was done so knowing that it was going to be wet most of the time so yes definitely would recommend Total Boat.

What did you prime with? I'm new. Hoping to do my countertop soon. Just not knowledgable about primers
I would recommend using a product called Valspar Bonding Primer very easy to use and you can get it at Home Depot. You need to put two coats on and sand between coats when the last coat drys you can start your epoxy work. Good luck and let me know if you need any more help.
Isn't Valspar the Lowe's store brand? I thought I saw it there yesterday.
how long does it take to cure? Also, can you add a short clip to the end of your video after it cures if the finished product? It’s stunning as is, but I’d love to see it after the epoxy is done moving!
It takes about 6 hours to cure to the touch and a 100% cure it takes about 7 days. And yes I will make a small little video of the finished product.

thank you so much for that.
Awesomeness... Is it possible to do an old bath tub? Mine looks terrible!
Thank you so much for your comment, yes it's possible to do a bathtub but it's going to take time and patience. You're going to have to get a epoxy thickener
Do you have a preferred brand of epoxy? Also, with your rustoleum, are you using just their regular spray paint colors or have you played with their metallics as well?
For my sinks I like to use "Total Boat" epoxy and I use just the regular rustoleum spray paint I have not used there metallic paint.
@@LiquidCreationsCo2609 Thank you! :-)
You mentioned at the beginning of your video a bonding agent..what did u use and where did u get it?
Can you tell me which brand of Resin and Hardener you use please. Thanks for posting all these videos.

I know this video is 10 months old but I’m glad it still here I do have one question what did you start with the black it was already on the sink what is that I know you do a base coat but exactly what is it I ordered my Apoxsee from Amazon and I believe I’ve got the wrong one anyway I’ve got the Apoxsee and the color, little color packages so now I found out you need to put on a primer that’s what I’m looking for exactly what is the primer ?? The name of it ? Thank you !!
The black is a bonding primer you can get it at home Depot when you go in there ask them for valspar bonding primer. And what that does it allows the epoxy to bond better to the sink surface you can get a gallon of it for about $23. What type of epoxy did you get?
@@LiquidCreationsCo2609 Thank you so very much for answering !! Ty ty ty ty !!! I’m doing this myself my bathroom sink !! I thought I had it i’ll figure it out but up jump the primer. Lol. I said what !! But with your help I now know ! Ty ty
Hi new subscriber here, how would you manage a sink with soap Wells in it?
First thank you for your support on the channel.
I would do it the same way that I do all my sinks I would just go light on the epoxy around the soap wells.
When he first sprayed the white, and then the blue, I thought you myself... What in the heck is he doing ? Then, as it progressed I'm thinking...
Wow, that's amazing.
Thank you I really appreciate this comment.

Yes it's
robertkellogg71@gmail.com
@@LiquidCreationsCo2609 just seen this 😁 so happy im bout to email you now thank you so much i really appreciate your reply
Does it matter what sheen the paint is that you mix into the epoxy? Should I stay away from a high gloss?
Actually it's just the opposite high gloss or gloss is the best to use it blends better with epoxy. You can use a satin but you absolutely want to stay away from flat paint. I hope this helps.
I cannot do sink.outside because it is stationary.could I do this indoors if I turn on exhaust fan and use a fan ???
You can do this indoors the resin has zero VOC. it has no bad smells.
Can you show how to fix problems! I think I missed on my quantity of epoxy by not enough and by try to fixing and touch / heating to munch I make it worse! 😢
Just curious does just letting it run in the drain hole affect the way the hardware and plugs and stuff go in?
I actually remove all of the hardware and put a bucket under the sink so the excess epoxy can run out. Then once it cures I reinstall everything.
Hello I seen the list of epoxy you use, which one did you use for this sink? Are any of the epoxy water proof and heat resistant?
Hello I use on my sinks either WiseBond or TotalBoat Tabletop epoxy. And to be completely honest with you all epoxy once cured is water proof also different epoxies have different heat resistance the wise Bond being a little more temperature tolerant. I hope this answers your questions.
I'm sorry I forgot to answer one of your questions on this sink I used TotalBoat epoxy
What did you first cover sink in ? Like base coat or sealer or bonder
I used to use a bonding primer but since I've started using WiseBond epoxy there's no need for the bonding primer anymore.
❤
What primer did you use before the start of the video?
Valspar bonding primer I got it at home Depot it's like $34 a gallon.
Can you do the same with a bath ?? It looks amazing
Thank you for the comment. You can I've done it to a few bathtubs in the past before I started making videos. But I have to tell you it is a pain in the rear end. Now though you can buy a epoxy thickener that allows you to do vertical surfaces that makes it a little easier.
@@LiquidCreationsCo2609 😂😂 Thankyou for your rely your work is amazing very talented . Liked and subscribe 👍
@@emmajones980 thank you so much I truly do appreciate that have a blessed day.
What is the cure time for each part of the process? Its gorgous
You want to start out by cleaning the sink very well. Next you want to take some 220 grit sandpaper lightly sand the entire sink. After that you want to put a coat of bonding primer on it when that dries lightly sand it put another coat of bonding primer on it let it dry for 24 hours. Then you can do your epoxy color coat give that 6 to 8 hours to cure and then pour a clear coat over top of that and in 7 days you could put the sink back in use hope this helps.
👍
👍
I just did this to our sink with an overflow drain....the epoxy sealed off the holes that would allow the overflow to drain. Any suggestions on how to get the holes opened back up? Totally didn't think about this until I started to reassemble the faucet and drain.
Oh no! did it just seal off the face of the hole or the inside of the hole itself?
@@LiquidCreationsCo2609 not sure how thick the fill is. Its the holes inside the drain hole that allows any water that gets into the overflow hole in the sink to drain out. I tried poking a sharp object into the hole thinking it might be thin but it seems pretty thick and i couldn't puncture through. I checked and best I can tell Texas doesn't require an overflow drain to meet building code so I may just find a way to seal off the overflow (thinking any water that accidentally get in there may end up being gross and stinky)and chalk this up to a lesson learned.
@@gausefamilytx Don't give up just yet! the one thing that will eat epoxy is Acetone. If you can get that in there an let it sit on the blocked holes it will turn that epoxy to jelly. But it's needs to set there for about 12 to 24 hrs. I hope this helps.
Was you able to get the holes opened back up in your sink?
How do you get the epoxy drips off of the bottom edges?
There is a couple of different ways you can remove the epoxy drips here's a link to one of my videos that's one of them ways
ruclips.net/video/iS3dCFyTdao/видео.html
Does the epoxy cloud if water sits on it too long?
Some epoxy will the only one that I have found to work the best for me is TotalBoat Tabletop epoxy. And it also depends on how old your epoxy pour is the older the better. But if you put a urethane top coat on it it will not cloud. Hope this helps.
So my question is, what do I do with the sink stopper area? Just take it out and tape it closed so the epoxy doesn't run down the drain?? My bathroom vanity is exactly like this but I can't take it off the cabinet.
Hello the first thing you want to do is disconnect the drain pipe from up underneath the sink you do not I can't stress enough you do not want to leave that hooked up. If you do it's going to fill that pipe full of epoxy and you're going to have a repair job on your hands. So my advice would be to unhook it put a bucket up under the sink drain take the drain part that's in the sink out and just let the epoxy run through and you're not going to be able to stop it whatever's going to run through just let it run through and catch in the bucket below. And you don't have to remove the sink from the cabinet base just tape around the perimeter of your project another words whatever you don't want epoxy to get on tape it off so epoxy can't get on it and you should be good to go. I hope this helps.
It does! Thank you! I'm a first time home owner trying to do some updating and I love watching these videos! One last question sorry, do I have to turn off the water to the bathroom before I disengage the pipe? I've never done something like this before so I thank you for your help!!
@@itsx0aliciadaatea if you just unhook the drain pipe and the hardware from the drain of the sink you don't have to turn the water off. But if you want to remove the faucet you are going to have to turn the water off. If you leave your sink in place like you said you had to just tape around the bottom of your faucet where it meets the sink top and tape around the edge of the sink where it meets the walls so epoxy does not get on anything but what you want it on. Whatever you do do not forget to remove the drain pipe from underneath the sink very important you do this you can also take the hardware out of the sink that connects to that pipe underneath.
do you have to do anything to the drains after the epoxy is cured? does the added epoxy affect the draining of the new sink? Do you need to do anything to make sure there are no bubbles?
The way I do it I take every bit of the hardware out of the sink and off of the sink everything. Then I clean it real well once that's done I put two coats of bonding primer on it after that cures for 24 hours I do my epoxy work. There has only been one time that I've had to clean the epoxy out of the bowl drain hole part for the hardware to fit back in only once because normally it's so thin on a vertical surface that you don't have to worry about that but if you do I've got a video showing you how to clean that as well but I believe you should be all right as long as you remove all the sink hardware.
@@LiquidCreationsCo2609 ok..yea..figured on removal of al hardware..so theres no build up with the epoxy that requires you to drill out to make the hardware fit again?
@@jimhorner67 there is a little build up like I said I've only had to drill out one drain hole over the years of doing sinks. So in my experience you shouldn't have any problem with it.
You could put it on a plastic or a large canvas maybe
You could I've seen this go on canvas before.
Do you do bathtub like this also
I've done bathtubs but to be honest with you they are an extreme pain in the rear end it's very hard to get the epoxy to do what you wanted to do and what it's supposed to do extremely hard.
Do you have to sand it before you put the primer on it?
+maureen bissonette
technically no you don't have to sand it one thing you do have to do though it's clean it very well with a heavy degreaser. although when you send it it makes for a better finish when you're done with your project. what so if you're asking me for my opinion I would say yes definitely send it but technically you don't have to hope this helps.
Subbed
Thank you I really appreciate that.
Can you do this type of technique on a laminate counter top?
Absolutely I have a video on my channel doing this to a countertop and I've also got a video coming up in the not too distant future of another countertop that I'm going to do
@@LiquidCreationsCo2609 AWESOME!! Thank you!!!
Your welcome👍
Can you do this to a kitchen sink?
Yes you can do this to any sink.

What kind of spray paint do i buy??
You want to buy Rust-Oleum spray paint in the can spray can that's the best spray paint that I found that works well with a epoxy that I use and several other brands that I have used in the past.
Do you need the heat gun if you just want a solid glossy color?
No you don't the two purposes of the heat gun is to one remove air from the epoxy and two is to manipulate colors and make them do what you want them to do. The only reason you would need the heat gun if you want one solid color is to just remove air bubbles from your epoxy.
the color spray youre using is an epoxy one ? or oil based?
It's just regular spray paint you get from home Depot.
Amazing QUESTION ?? What kind of spray paint is it acrylic?
It's just regular old Rust-Oleum paint that you can get from Walmart or home Depot nothing special about it but I do use gloss I would not recommend using flat it doesn't mix too well with the paint for some reason you can use semi gloss gloss I've even used satin.
@@LiquidCreationsCo2609 Thankyou for your time . I’m from Spain we don’t have wallmark 😂 or rust oleum but I will find the same kind of thank your work is amazing effects 👍👏

What is the base coat? I didn't catch that.
It's a black bonding primer.
Can this be done with UV resin?
yes it can.
What sinks can't do, stainless steel kitchen?
Yes you can absolutely do this on stainless kitchen sinks.
Can you use a hair dryer
Yes you can just go a little slower because the hair dryer don't get as hot so it takes a bit longer to get the air out.
