This DIY concrete ramp sink is the last major project for the master bathroom renovation (just waiting on some cabinet hardware to put the finishing touches on and do the full reveal). The sink is fabricated from GFRC concrete, as usual, but this one is a little bit extra - probably my favorite concrete sink build ever. I designed the sink in Fusion 360, and then used my Avid CNC to 3D carve the foam sink mold. I coated the foam sink mold in drywall mud (which acts as a barrier between foam and epoxy resin) and then coated the mold with epoxy resin to waterproof it and give a smooth surface to it. I sprayed the face or beauty coat of GFRC concrete into the form, and then hand packed the back coat of concrete. We end the video with the installation of the sink in the master bathroom, on top of the vanity that I build in the last video.
NEXT UP: In the next episode, we’ll be doing a 24-hour bathroom renovation challenge….the last major project I have to do before wrapping up the building!

Just realized that I've been watching this series for 2 years now, waiting for your renovation to finish. Amazing work all around! Love your floors and the way you did your kitchen... just amazing!
Renovation to finish?😳 😂🤣🤠🇫🇮
wait, what?? it's already been two years!?! No way o.O wow, time flies when you blink
it’s been HOW LONG 🤠
2 years?!? How did that happen 🤣😫
No way it’s been 2 years 😂😂
You know its a great day when modustrial uploads a video ❤️
Thanks!
Looks great, personally would have made the opening wider (I think the faucets are to close to the edges). Liking the whole vibe of the bathroom with the tile and wood panels
Came here to say that too. i think if u wash your hands you end up splashing too much on the flat surface.
Yes. Faucets are too to the sides
Exactly my thoughts! Looks great, but not wide enough and it'll end up making a mess on the counters, which will be hard to clean because the stuff on the counters is in the way. Oh well.
I came to comment the same thing
lalalalala *modustrial covers his ears lalalala cant hear you lalalalalalala
One of the best series on youtube
Thank you! 🙏🙏
The bathroom is coming along beautifully! Love the modern look and feel of the space so far!
Thanks much!
@@modustrial during the CNC milling of the sink master, the boundary between the 2 layers of pink XPS looked... strange. Was the glue a polyurethane glue? I saw on another channel (@Luke Towan) that it is expansive; it requires weight to be applied so the two layers being glued don't get pushed apart. Is that what happened here?
Looks good my only concern when I saw it going in is that there may be a lot of water spillage if the water pressure is too high on the taps on the sink.
Put in a pressure reducer. Either in the spout or underneath
Faucets are too far apart, yes. Water will spill over the sides.
Same, you don´t have enough space for washing-hands under faucets. There will be water everywhere.
Well, I never sink about that thing before. Cool DIY!!
"Couldn't un-see it"....Yep! Will be interesting to see how that sink splashes when used. Will be watching for the update.
That is one amazing talent you have! Wow
I'm so glad the building is finally a fully functional house, but I'm also glad there's still a lot to do and to see! 😄😄🤣
I love calk talk!
After dealing with Ian things for a week straight, it's nice coming back to an MM video.
I’ve been following since the beginning of the abandoned warehouse project! Love this bathroom so much already! Excited to see more of everything.
Thanks Mia!
So have I … he’s very talented
The Caulk Talk is back!!!🥳😍
Man, with you actually doing stuff for where you live/work, I feel like I learn so much more than people just showing random projects.
That is the most beautiful sink I have ever seen!
39 episodes and i can't believe it is the beginning of the end, always looking forward to these episodes.
that was amazing. I love the final design of it. Would be fun to see the water drain down like a river .Sheeeeesh
Glad I came across your page. Quality work as usual.
The sink shape is beautifully elegant and absolutely fits the aesthetic of this bathroom. This space is like something I would see in Architectural Digest.🌸
absolutely beautifull.. great job again again... again
Been here since the beginning and loving every moment. 🥰
Excellent work, that sink looks beautiful.
looks awesome, but it seems like the faucets are quite close to the L/R edge of the sink?
Helluva sink you've created there. Helluva sink.
Amazing result! Creative and stylish ❤
Bathroom looks great!
OMG, it looks amazing; you KILLED IT!!!!
Great video and hilarious use of Andy Bernard expletive.
The TenHundred mural looks dope
I'm an extreme fan of this whole bathroom makeover, way to keep it modern!
I love love love that sink!
Loving the design of the sink. I'm so happy you went with the final design and not the infinity loop. It goes well with all the other geometric shapes and straight lines of the bathroom.
Genius sink....very innovative
This is a beautiful sink, nicely done!
And I never thought I would be so excited by clean black caulk lines.
Dude! You are the KING of concrete! Bathroom is looking fabulous!
wow it looks great!!!!! Love the sink.
Looks amazing. Well done. 🎈
I do like the sink, i love the look and colour of it.
I like the "TL;DW" recap at the beginning. Make you want to watch the whole process
Thanks! That's the goal :)
Sink looks great brother. Man I can't wait to watch the next few.
Nothing like custom pieces!
Love how the shape of the vessel/depression turned out!
Thanks Scott!
Great work Mike!
Mike as always it looks amazing! Your prep and attention is the bit that make your builds just work! Also, you can't stop this series! What are we all going to look forward to on RUclips? 😁 P.S. You're looking well!
Nice and satisfying Caulk.
I love the look of this bathroom. The custom sink is perfect. Never crossed my mind that it wouldn't be. I began following you because of projects like that sink. Fantastic work.
Im both excited to see it finished, and excited to see what's next
Your home is looking like a genuine gem.
Looks amazing! nice work! thanks for sharing your talents!
That top looks dope AF 👌
The taps look a little close to the edge of the sink, curious to see if it will cause messes when the plumbing is all done.
Immediately my 1st thought.
Same thought!! I was not the only person who noticed this. Mr. MOD can you please address this one? Very curious. Looks amazing.
That’s a beautiful sink
Wow, this countertop/sink really looks awesome! Like, some sort of fancy-designer-stuff-awesome!
Caulk talk is back! I have so missed caulk talk. The renovation has been fun to watch, but I'm glad it's nearing the end.
That looks great dude!
awesome! In the beginning I was not so sure. Epic
Looks cool love it. And caulk talk good one 😂😂
Daaammmnnn...I wish I had a fraction of your energy, enthusiasm, and design know-how! You are amazing!
That is a dope design for the sink
Thanks!
The shape of the sink, great call! Adding that little bit of a curve in the front adds to the eye candy. Glade your feeling better from the begining of the year
LMFAO at “Caulk Talk”… and also at the clip of the cement gun going wrong last time! love the sense of humor, i needed that, ty!
Sick job! Bravo!
Yep. I'm diggin it.
Oh man, what a journey! I've been here since the beginning and watching the progress you made now I'm so happy for you and proud too! Truly inspirational! You are one of my favorite youtubers/creators and I've learned so much from watching your videos (even though I haven't built anything ahaha)
Looks great! Thanks again for another wonderful video, looking forward to seeing more progress!
Thank you!
Looks fantastic
the results amazing woow
I think that sink looks divine.
You know you are cool when you are using for molding what others are using for finished product :))))
The attention to detail & work you put in to everything is inspiring!
Very cool. Nice result.
Really good job on the sink. Lots of comments talking about the width of the faucets and I do agree a bit on those. A bit worrisome is I don't see any sort of overflow on the sink either in case the drain gets clogged.
Stunning 🤩
I've caught up on almost all the old episodes of the reno. Love how you managed to coordinate the gray of the tile and the sink. Beautiful job!
wow - really looks great
Beautiful!
That is without words...BEAUTIFUL!
I have been following you for a couple years now. I have really enjoyed watching this abandoned being transformed into the awesome space you have made it in to.
Great job on the bathroom vanity!
Looking forward to seeing the place completed!!
Just wanted to let you know that I used your Noom code 3 months ago, and honestly, it's been one of the best decisions I've made. I've lost over 20 lbs, well on my way to my target goal. Thanks!
Beautiful!!
I'm glad you like this style of sink, but it makes me feel like i'm in an airport if i had that sink. either way love the work you do because it takes a ton of skill, effort, and talent. nice job.
been here since the start i love your content!
I love this design! It brings the whole bathroom together with the vanity being a focal point. Great job!
Thank you!
Glad to be one of the guy who is here since the beginning 🥰
Can’t believe I’ve watched this from the beginning
Already liked because I’ve followed the stories and know that the result looks amazing
Nice.. I'll give you a tip that I learned, by trial & mostly error when I started making things with concrete.. After it is done, make sure it is a rough surface, mix up some fiberglass & resin and give about a 1/4 to 3/8 thick on it.. It will make the piece much stronger and if it does crack some, it will still hold.. I do mean putting it on the underside of it.. No one will ever see it, but it's an extra bit to just make it stronger.. I found using this trick I can go much thinner on the concrete.. I loved this episode.. Also, since you definitely have the talent, why not make more of those sinks in other colors, I am positive you would sell everyone you can make.. Lots of people who watch your channel would buy one of your creations in a heartbeat.. Well I rattled on enough. Thank you for sharing... GOD Bless... 😎😎😎
I first starting watching your channel when you first brought the building. I have been enjoying watching it turn into a really cool home. Your hard work is really starting to pay off, well done.
Love the sink!
Looking awesome, I love it when you put the sealer on and it brings up the natural shades in the concrete 😍
Doing a great job
LOVE it! It looks absolutely fantastic. Can't beat a good concrete episode!
I have been following this whole journey since the beginning. I am so invested now haha. Love everything you have done (especially the kitchen!)
Never thought I’d want concrete counter tops and sinks so much. 😍
Beautiful
Damn not a noom ad. I have been a big fan for many years, but this is the first video I have ever turned off.
Wow, another great video.
Watching since day one and after more than 2 years you still surprise me with your work. Great stuff!
Just as always that bathroom is looking awesome. The complete living space is looking amazing Mike. I have loved watching you transform that dodgy looking space into something awesome. Great work as always. 👍
