They really need to look into the drop rates for everything, but especially she frags for the towers.
As it stands now, this stuff isn't even worth farming with alts for plat, from a time investment to return perspective.
This is made even worse by the cross party tagging that renders half of your kills pointless, unless you're in a totally dead zone during off hours.
Once I got the hang of it, I was able to destroy four spires in a single (Inferno V) terror rift, though three is about the average. I enjoy the Terror Rift mode as it is constant action though the rewards have been disappointing so far, same with Oblivion Spires.
Follow up (2024-04-17):
I have completed several (Inferno VI) Terror RIfts, frequently taking down four Spires each, and far more often than not, have received squat. I easily complete ten Rifts per week with little more to show for it other than one, maybe two,, Eternal Legendaries and Terror Essences!? Horrible! And, in hope that it helps, I am using my Treasure Hunter Paragon without success.
Currently, Terror Rifts are horribly broken. The buff to demon generation is far from sufficient. Terror Rifts are in need of a serious fix. Even the Hellslayer Bounties need improvement. Very poorly executed event.😡
Big fail this event...... a lot of lags and players, teammate can be stealing your essensce etc. Verry bad. On mele class cant completed 2 pilars 😢
Had issues in a group where mobs were tagged for individuals instead of group. Maybe a bug.
Was able to get far less than the first I did solo

@@gerardmonsen1267 believe me, you’ll know eternal gear when you see it. Plus all the gear that drops from terror rifts are eternal. It’s completely lacking the hype built around it.
@@HolyMolyJC No, a lot of normal legendaries drop from Terror Rifts, etc. The Eternal gear has 3 attributes, 4 magic affixes, and a high cr.
@@gerardmonsen1267 actually it has a chance of those 3 things. You can still get low cr eternal gear with 1 magic affix and 2 attributes. You know it’s eternal because of the 4 piece bonus. Get in there and see what I’m talking about son.
@@HolyMolyJC I am aware of how it works. "Eternal" gear has 3 attributes and 4 magic affixes, two of which are class specific affixes. Anything less, and it's just a regular legendary that happens to have a class specific magic affix. A lot of popular YT creators have been propagating the error you mentioned.
I already hate the bloody place competition for mobs is insane especially for an under geared player trying to improve 😮🤨 the most I managed to get was 150/200 as most mobs were already taken. Oh actually 1 time I did get 200…and then ran out of time 😂
I’m not going to be rushing back to do these again they can keep their gear items 😂

My auto aim disengrate beam dont work in Terror Rift so as the pants essences . Total garbage i tried 3 times today . I was fighting with only basic attack and lost controll with mouse and game only allowed WASD to move .
I did my first one today. Didn't look like yours, I had probably 15 other ppl competing for mobs. If they hit them before me, I get nothing. Partying up does nothing for drops either. I'm pretty sure..
Long story short, I managed 1 spire. The incredible lag that came with 15 other players spamming skills on 50 mobs was insane. The phone almost died. Would be nice if I could go solo and not compete for mobs, it made it useless
Idk why people say only for whales or f2p can’t handle this… I’m f2p with 2.7k res, 34.3k CR and I shred through these mobs

F2p player cant play this events, ppl who pay makes it Easy for them to finish rifts pillars for eternal gear,me Personaly with 1k reso have strugle cant match other ppl

Just started this game like paragon 400 why is that one gear piece you have purple?
If you level up your legendary gem to Rank 10 and awaken it, the gear with that gem will turn purple and its gear essence will have an enhanced effect.
Blizzard made sure you got drops. Perc of the BPP.

No gear nothing a bit of gold
No one in my clan got anything
We talked about and it was a general consensus they are a waste of time .
But I knew all content creators would be doing video showing off their drops .

That was just a legendary item, not an eternal item. Eternal items have 3 attributes and 4 magic affixes.

Trash event, no reward, just a waste of time,, Blizzard never stops in giving us a surprised failed update, they should stick to small changes not this big leap of ideas that cause the game lot of lags, dc etc and still adds up on making the game harder and not fun anymore to play,,
I don't know why you guys got a f****** complain about every update just play the game if you don't like it then don't play
But complaining can make the developers do some improvements. For example I don't like the fact that you sometimes can't find the Tower in terror rift. I am sitting on 3-400 essence but can't find the Tower. Very frustrating.
Why don't you watch a different content creator with a different opinion. Oh wait, on the eternal rifts this is the Universal opinion
