We recently did a cruise and decided that upon debarkation we would go over to Disney Springs for a minute before we headed home. We got there a few minutes before they opened and on our walk in stopped into Everglazed ☕️🍩 WOW 🤩 was the donut good !! Then kept on walking over to Gideons Bakehouse, the line was short and we waited around 30 minutes only because they were not opened, it was well worth the wait and at $6 per cookie 🍪 the banana chocolate chip cookie is beyond amazing 🤩. I would say your bread looked like a version of Brazilian cheese bread. Thanks for sharing 😊.
Everglazed! They are so good! Completely agree! And I can’t say we’ve had the banana chocolate chip cookie yet…we will have to look for that one. I do love the pistachio toffee one though…I really like that they are generous with the sea salt flakes bc it really balances out the sweetness. We do love Gideons! And I hadn’t thought about the cheese puffs being Brazilian but now that you say that I think you’re right!

We got cookies there also 2x....as far as Gideons forget about it for us!!!! in the last 4 yrs or so since it opened we havent been able or willing to stand on that line....So SUmmer House Cookies are great and much easier to get !!!
It’s wild how consistent the long lines are at Gideons! I thought they would eventually die down but they haven’t. If you’re able to get there, they have another location at the east end market. You can even order your cookies online and just go pick them up without having to wait. Something to think about if you consider getting them again and don’t want to bother with Disney Springs 😊
The walkway isn't likely to come back. The new DVC tower is going to increase demand on the monorail which was the real reason for cutting off Shades of Green even if Disney won't come out and say it. There is an easy way out for Disney -allow shades busses to use Disney bus stops directly at the park rather than ttc. Costs them nothing and at least gives the impression that they are trying to work with Shades. I would be happy with that as a compromise tbh

We have a link to a video in the description where we ate there if you wanna check that out. It just depends what you’re in the mood for but both are good. I’m really into Summer House at the moment bc summer is here, it’s new and we had a great experience…the food is exactly what I like so I feel like it’s catered to me lol If you like that California flare kind of menu you will love it too! We will be back next month too…maybe we will see you there 😉
