Thank you for going back to SH. We went there yesterday and really enjoyed it. It’s our opinion that the cookies are better than Gideons with NO waiting in line and we can get hot/cold beverages as well. Thanks for the review
Our dinner was ok. I wouldn't rush back. My wife got the cobb salad and felt like all of the ingredients were very fresh. I had the carne asada tacos, they didn't have as much flavor as I would have hoped and the tortillas were wimpy. It wasn't a bad experience, just nothing that wowed us. Which is pretty much what I expected it would be, just was hoping for better.
I totally agree with you about rating the drinks. I don't often order a cocktail because they're so expensive at Disney, but I will if I hear that a certain place has a certain drink that was really good or even just a general review on whether the drinks were good or not. I love the kiwi coconut margarita at Yak & Yeti (which I didn't think I would like) so I'll go there just for the cocktail. It's always best to have more information than you need than less. So keep up the good work!
Agree that rating a drink program is important. However, I do feel the star drinks should theme to the restaurant, hence the spritzes and froze. Summer House does not give me an Old Fashion vibe, so my expectation would be lower if I ordered it there.
I took an interest in this review because one opened in a trendy part in the Northside of Chicago. The menu fits well in that part of town. The pizza and the goat cheese would probably be my choice.I have become a big fan of old fashioneds but Malbec is drink of choice.
I ate there one week ago today...I liked the atmosphere and variety to the menu. I got the tequila lime chicken taco's( the chicken was very dried out) and also tasted the chicken strips and fries from another person's meal in my party. The fried chicken strips were also quite dried out. I wonder if it was the chef that day or if anyone else has experienced that? I also tried a lemon cookie. It was moist and full of flavor. Lastly, upon sitting down inside it was quite warm. As the evening went on it seemed to have regulated in temperature.
It’s a great spot!! Great atmosphere and the devil eggs and pizza were amazing. The menu needs more items but a great lunch and vibe spot

Is it too much to ask for a video of Dan giving a tutorial of how to make his guacamole? I feel like his guac must be the best ever! 😂
We can probably do that 😊
I’ve heard great things about the big cinnamon roll! That pizza looks delish.
Excited to watch another video! Thank you! 🙏
Nice to hear this review. Eating here for the first time in a couple weeks.
I'm with you on the ice cubes. I'll take one large cube anyday!

I feel like I keep hearing about Dan’s amazing Guac. Recipe time?
And give away the secret? Lol, that might be a fun video 🤗
Hats off to Jennings. He has an adventurous palate for a young teen! Good for him!
Love your reviews! Thanks so much! Will you consider reviewing La Cava del Tequila? Or even doing their special event tasting experience for review?
Yes, can’t wait!
Hmmm! So I am thinking if I try this adult beverages are must for hubby and I. Maybe we'll stick with beer and wine because you never steer us wrong!!

Okay you all it was another great one but Jennings description of the fries was a win, know I’ll avoid those.

That chicken sandwich Jennings had looked delicious .
You are too hung up on the one large cube. A traditional old fashioned had ice chipped with an icepick if I am not mistaken.
Better is better and you’ll never convince me that watering down your expensive whiskey cocktail is better. But by all means, you do you
