A: I eat like this for 1 hour of a 168 hour long week. In simple terms, I eat at caloric maintenance over the course of time, meaning I don’t gain weight. If you're interested in learning more, see the ‘But How Come You're Not Fat' and 'It Was Just A Normal Day...' videos available on my channel.
Q: Don’t you worry about your health?
A: Not in particular. I’m active. I eat nutrient dense foods five days a week. And, I get quarterly bloods done, amongst other health checks.

This was probably one of his easiest challenges....and I'm still shaking my head. If I ate even 6 eggs and 6 sausages I wouldn't be able to hold that down...phenomenal!!

I just found this guy like two days ago and I've been watching him non stop. The first vid I watched was the Gordon Ramsey Pizza place where he ate as many slices in 2 hours. Competitive eaters are a really great marketing tool and it usually just costs a free meal
And truthfully, these places usually have great food. Nobody goes to a terrible restaurant and thinks "I wonder how much I can eat of this stuff." Eating challenges are built on great food.

Watching beards challenges, I don't know where he finds to put it all. I'm only a small woman, and I'd struggle to eat, 2 slices of beans on toast. He's just amazing!
I know this sounds blatantly obvious, but I just can't get my head around the pure speed this guy eats at. The volumes if food I get and I think in my younger days I could eat a lot of his challenges, but like over the course of a hour or so. The speed and consistency of it with this guy is just amazing.

yeah, in my absolute heyday, i could've done some, i repeat SOME of the challenges he's done. But it would've took me double or triple the time and i'd be struggling from halfway through!

Maybe like 6-7 years ago I could eat a lot. But nowadays, when I eat too much I get sleepy as hell. Also my gut then tells me what he thinks of the amount of food in an explosive fashion the next day.

I've watched almost all of Adams videos, including the podcasts, I felt like he went into this one with a point to prove. First time I'm seen him actually really go for it on a breakfast challenge with time in mind. That was competitive eater Adam not just breakfast challenge Adam. Loved every minute of this video

Beard a cup is a unit of measurement. We typically have 1/4, 1/2 and 1 cup measuring utensils.

6'11' baked beans with white bread ^^ I am German and went with 2 irish friends to Dublin in 2006. we arrived at their deceased grandmothers house and stood there. Moe was so eager to present us their totally irish childhood snack whis they called "Skinnheads on a raft" whis has been baked beans on a fried toast. A very simple thing that i enjoyed a lot and still do, but that they shared that with us was so lovely, because they were so proud of it and i loved it 🙏😍

@beardmeatsfood - My late wife, who loved your videos, taught chemistry at a university in the US, and she was often teaching metric at the same time to US students, although the foreign students had no problem with it. A cup is a standard amount:
1 cup is 236.588 ml. Or, in the US standard (which aims to be easily divisible and multiplicative rather than metric's ease at adding and subtracting), it's a 16th of a gallon and it is 16 tablespoons, which is easily divided into halves, quarters, eighths, or 16ths, or similarly multiplied. Incidentally, we use grams and other metric amounts all the time here in the US, just not generally when cooking when you are more likely to double or halve amounts often. Everything on a nutritional label, for example, is in grams, and all science and some engineering is done in metric units.
Fahrenheit does have a similar humanistic connection: 0 to 100 are limits to human livability without serious protection. Mostly because 100 was intended to be the temperature of the human body... and a temperature over 100 degrees is dangerous to be out in, or if it is your temperature, indicates you have a fever. Basing it on human temperature rather than the temperature of boiling water sort of makes sense. I mean, other than Kelvin, both are kind of arbitrary and not quite reliable: Celsius is where water boils at 88° if you're in La Paz, Bolivia. Or 102°C on the shores of the Dead Sea.
Metric lengths are probably the most clear improvement over US standards, but some Canadian builders really enjoy being able to switch between both (since it's again easier to divide and multiply the short lengths like feet and inches in US standards. Miles are just historical baggage). Quite a few metric and US standards are just the same: both use seconds for time, for example. And they are both all tied to natural constants and each other.

I spent 2 weeks in London a couple years ago and had a full English breakfast EVERY day. It was my absolute favorite thing ever. (extra mushrooms, suck it beard)

A Cup is actually a standard imperial measurement, so it does have a consistent meaning (in the context of cooking/baking, in Canada/US.). It does have a pretty arbitrary origin that isn't nearly as logical or scientifically based as Liters/MLs, but it is an actual unit of measurement.

I’m admittedly also a bit skeptical that there’s a difference between café and coffee shop. But, considering she did her research about the competitive eating terminology, I trust her since she probably did the same about the coffee terminology as well!
After a 20 second Google search, I get: The term "café" comes from the French word meaning "coffee".
So...
A cheese shop gives a choice of cheeses. Thus a coffee shop gives a choice of coffees.
A cafe sells coffee but often also tea with a choice of food.
Cafe is literally the French word for coffee.
Café is also the Spanish word for coffee. So...yeah, it's a bit redundant.
Maybe on my best day.....more than 50 year's ago.....I could have consumed that in 15 minutes. I surmise even with a gun to my head never in less than 10 minutes. That was incredible. I've seen Beard nail some challenges but for volume & speed I surmise this was the most unbelievable.
