I'm not sure about that, but it'll take some effort to get the better of Ruby Soho's as yet unconquered 'Impossible Pancake Challenge'. 16 pancakes accompanied by blueberries, raspberries, bananas, meringue, biscoff cookies, syrup, raspberry sauce and a freak-shake; all to be finished inside 30 minutes! Fail and it's a £30 bill and an eternity on the wall of shame. Succeed and it's FREE, you get a spot on their wall of fame, an embroidered winner's shirt and a jar of their bespoke coffee!

The only bad thing about these kind of challenges is that there’s no cheeky “do you have a dessert menu?” afterwards 😂😂

I can't believe how much time Adam squanders away during these contests, but still manages to set new records LOL
I think it's a bit of a flex, like asking for dessert after finishing a challenge.
I came here to say basically the same thing…He could have done that several minutes faster had he just got right to it… Gotta keep it entertaining though and have some banter with the staff and/or patrons
Sometimes wasting so much time that I get annoyed. Also picking up the crumbs in between...DO IT ALL IN THE END MAN! 😄😄

I love how other challenge eaters are totally focussed on the food, and then Adam comes along, beats the record while casually keeping a conversation going on the side.
There might be a technique in that. Distracting your brain from the task at hand, making the challenge more endurable. Not sure though, just guessing :P

(1)Those pancakes look amazing.
(2)”I would lick it if I had to” should be the title of Adam’s book.

I’m always SO impressed just has polite and nice Mr. Beard is regardless of scenario or the welcome/attitude of staff. Really love seeing that especially in modern times.

It’s so lovely how you manage to win over nearly every staff member in your quests for gluttony; just seeing the change from skeptical to amazed to lovely and kind is so heartwarming. Faith in humanity restored!

That Raspberry sauce looked so good, a nice shade of dark purple, perhaps it was the lighting, but it looked bangin' :)
Ruby Soho is also a pro wrestler that was gifted the name and song (as her theme) by Rancid as she is a huge fan and they love her. She cried when they gave it to her.

This would have been one of those times where at the end instead of Beard ordering dessert as a flex, he just orders a steak lol.
I was a baker,after inhaling sugar for a whole shift I would end up craving something like bacon and eggs and couldn't have touched anything sweet.
Weekend in hospital, 30 minutes sleep since Friday but can't help but watch the Beard before trying to get some shut eye now I'm home. Great job as always 💪

That was a heroic effort Mr Beard, I was seriously concerned when you finished the pancakes yet still had all the extras to down. I don't know but if it were me I would have done my utmost so as not to disappoint the waitress, she was absolutely lovely!

This is especially impressive to me. If I eat a couple big pancakes they feel like a cannonball in my belly, I don't know how you do it! Love the sense of humor in your videos and seeing someone amazed by your abilities for the first time is always funny to me!
Seriously, a lot of them I couldn't do without question, but this is one of the hardest looking ones for me personally. 2-3 pancakes is my maximum.

Found Beard on fb feed. It was the Gordon Ramsey video on pizza and I didn’t believe Beard could beat the record holder and then he smashed it. Now I binge watch Adam’s videos not just because it’s incredible how much he puts back but because I enjoy his personality. I’ve watched other food competition people but Adam is my favorite. ❤️

Pancakes are a difficult volume food.
Scott's breakfast burrito...large flour tortilla...add maple syrup. Top with a pancake, add scrambled eggs, bacon, gammon, pork sausage, gravy. Wrap it up as a burrito.
