Thank you so much, this is so helpful, my son's girlfriend really wants to get into acrylic painting and she did her first one today and was thrilled with the result, ( it was really good) so now I know what to get her for Christmas, Brushes are on my list and now I know which ones to start her off with, Thank you. x
Hi Clive, I am back with you after a 2yr absence. I want to thank you for all the tips and tricks you show us. Other artists just get on with the painting you don't know what they are using, so thank you again.
+ArtfullYours with Diana I do t use them that much but will be looking into a video about them I do talk about them when I use them Plus it's possible I forgot lol 😃
Hi Clive would you have time to do a tutorial on ueseing irridesent acrylics, I love the coulers and the shimmery effect but I have been stumped as to what to paint with them, Thanks Jude
Nice Clive...great info. I like those white handled brushes you have there. Not sure what the brand name is..I do know that the synthetic Simply Simmons white handeled brushes are great for acrylics. The brights and the filberts...the larger brush you have with burgundy handle is great for blending. I found the natural bristles are not good with acrylics...also the natural bristles ..when put on water damages them. The Simply Simmons synthetic are great because they come to a chiseled edge and helps define shapes.
I remove all makers names of the paints and brushes as I'm not sponsored by the companies I did contact one once they said the don't want to associated with other companies as I use different brands so now I don't give free advertising to any unless they pay me but I guess that's a pipe dream. Thanks Clive Grate info
So grab your brush, have a great time. And don't forget to click subscribe)))))))))))) Thank you for what you are doing. Your channel is really helpful!
This is off topic, but I love your bunny-so adorable. I wish I could afford to commission you to paint my Cat, but I can't. But maybe , I will acquire the skills to paint her someday.
Hey you are correct;to paint fur,it takes a certain brush and stroke-related. You don't really waffle much, I am tired most of the time I comment online.
How long is too long to leave your brushes in water? I may come and go three times in a day from a painting and always clean my brushes in between, do I have to?
don't leave them standing as they will bend out of shape if your going to leave them in water lay them down I clean my brushes after every session even if i go get a cup of tea its good practice as they dry fast or you forget they are in the water
You make me smile Clive! Thank you for sharing your knowledge with us. J

Do you have a link with the brushes you purchased in the video? Or maybe a kit with some of them for beginners?
Thanks for this! As a complete beginner it’s so overwhelming trying to figure out what I need to start out with.
Happy to help

Hello. Could you write a list of the brushes you offer with their numbers, I just dont understand spoken English well?
Do you have daylight in your studio? Is everything black to reduce reflection?
I daylight in the studio I use daylight bulbs to paint black is used as it helps with filming
Could I use my makeup blending brush as a blending brush instead of buying a exspencive one?
Yes you can I used one for years make sure tho you wash it well

I think you might have a addiction problem with brushes. The first step is admitting you have a problem.
