I’ve heard that version of Ghost of Tom Joad with Tom and E Street and it’s one of the best things I’ve ever heard live. Energy in the arena was remarkable.

A lot of Springsteen fans can't stand Tom Morello. Don't know why. I love Bruce's music and I think Tom's great. That Ghost version is killer!
Love that Howard asked him what being nervous meant - it really expanded it
That’s why he’s the goat of interviewing people. Haha
These conversations with such genious musicians are awesome. Love from Spain.
One of THE greatest live Rock performance - period.
I was mind blown when I saw that performance it was awesome.,its got to be top 20 live performances of all time !!!

I saw Bruce and Tom perform at Pete Seeger's 90th birthday bash at Madison Square Garden, what a thrill.
I was there that night. Maybe the best concert experience I've had and that remains one of my top like 3 guitar solos

I love this story. I was never a big fan of this song until I saw this performance of it. Morello and the band just took it to another level.
That song sounds great in agressive electric mode.....when its accoustic it just sucks
Tom Morello is a hero
His solo in this song is one of
the greatest guitar solos of all time
It raises this great tune written by
The Boss up to another level
Absolutely fantastic

Tom kinda sounds like Obama
the midwest inflection
They're both half-Kenyan, half-white American Harvard grads from Illinois
They're both brilliant and lyrical in speech
Both have fathers from Kenya and white American mothers. That probably has something to do with it.

Both from chicago! Maybe it's a cadence?
Haha! Holy shit your right.
I just went and watched this and I was blown away by his playing....still think Bruce is a blow hard.
I don’t get the infatuation with Bruce Springsteen? His music is so fucking boring to me
