The Great Wheel or Walking Wheel spins off of a pointed spindle like that, but you stand up and turn the wheel by hand, don’t think it has a handle that turns it. There is an Indian spinning wheel that you sit down to, but that is a much smaller wheel. Modern day spinning wheels you sit to and treadle, either single treadle or double treadle.

後面的紡紗手法看不懂，一開始是手搓線然後綁到紗錠，然後轉輪帶動紗錠，這部份拍的很清楚，但左手的動作是直接放線就行了嗎？還有要怎麼接下一捆棉花呢？線越纏越厚之後該怎麼取下？取下之後還能繼續紡這條線嗎？
