Eric great advice, but I was surprised to see that you don't condition the paddle & top fastening leather piece. You strip them all down, but only conditioned one of the three. The top fastening leather piece looked particularly dry :(
Great question xxXXCarbon6XXxx! ;) You are right I should have conditioned all the leather even the paddle on the fabric strop. However, I was trying to keep the video as short as possible. I will do them all and try to show them somehow. Thanks for your great comment and encouragement, and thanks for watching! :) Take care and stay safe, have a good weekend my friend! #Heart

I’m getting into strops. They are fun! I restored a vintage Shell strop that performs nicely. Very pleased with it. I applied leather balm on it after scrubbing her with saddle soap.
Restoring your vintage Shell strop very nice, Kirk! ;) Yeah, Buddy I have heard good things about those strops and it sounds like a wonderful find! Stropping can be very relaxing and enjoyable.
