Setting Up a New Strop - using diamond paste from Tech Diamond Tools

In this video I set up 2 varieties of strop for sharpening knives using diamond paste. I give a 100% honest reaction to Tech Diamond Tools set that I received in a giveaway and give an overview of how to sharpen a knife to razor sharp quality.

You can put it in a microwave for about 15-30 seconds. It makes it much easier to spread around . It also lasts a while so the paste is available to use easily in the future.
I use these pastes all the time and fine them to be the best one can find

It looks like you could use half the amount to do the initial coating. Nice touch on the 3 part strop system plain, 8000, 4000.

Only messy because he used 20 times more than he should have. A drop or two all he needed.

You must go through a lot of waste. The thinner the layer the better with diamond paste ...

I only use a belt strop with diamond paste and IMO you use far too much pressure, only the lightest of pressure needed cause you're just polishing the edge and I just hang mine off a hook as they're intended. Nice to hear an English voice for a change here on YT.
