I love the looks of the 1st generation APX since it came out in 2016. I do want one for my collection.
Me too
What I'm very much wanting to see will be the APX 1 compact, that was announced a few weeks ago. It apparently replaced the Centurion.
And what I'd very much like to see is them actually sell slides so my ACTUAL APX Compact can finally be RDO.
I’m a big fan of the original APX. I own three of them. All are gen 1. The APX - A1 did not impress me enough to replace the original. That’s just me and I really like the green color that you showcased. Thank you very much for the video my friend.
Thanks very much for watching & for the comment. See you soon.

I was waiting on my A0 in the mail when they announced the A1… I still like the style and grip and chocolate bar slide of the original and would never replace it
So what didn't u like about it. Can't just say u don't like it and not give a comparison lol
@@LL-qq4go well, yes I can. But if you need to know details, I prefer the looks of the original, I prefer the trigger in the original, and I think the slide finish on the A1 looks and feels cheap.
You can get the OD green grip module for the original.
Nice comparison! I think I would prefer the Tactical, but they both are solid options at reasonable prices, especially for those who don't like the G word. 😉 👍👍
Soooo True!! Cost effective & capable for sure. Just like the G Word! LOL! 👨🏻🚀🇺🇸👍☀️

I have the original apx in the fullsize with fiber optics sights with wolfgray frame and apx centurion. Love both guns .
I like the A1 better.... Now I want to see a PX4 update!
Was admiring the shape in a case when the employee mentioned that he thought itbwas ugly lol so nice for small hands and shirt fingers too.
beautiful like a Porsche
The one thing I don’t understand is the fully blacked out front sight. The regular APX A1 has a tritium night sight on the front. I do wish they would have added that for the Tactical model (while still having the sights be suppressor-height).
They're going for under 475 these days and that's BEFORE the rebate. An amazing value from a reputable company.
Just ordered this gun, $459 minus the $100 rebate. Can’t wait to get to the range
I have interchanged the frame/fcg and slide between the APX and APX a1. (Rough getting the slide off later, though). Next I will change the fcg/slide with just the plastic frame (keeping the gen 1 frame) - therefore having the frame from APX and moving parts from the new APX A1. - injust like the grip/frame of the original APX better.
I also have two other centurions and a small 13 round frame too- so far, it shoots the best of all my original APX models. I probably have put about 1,500 rounds through the four APXs, my APX A1 has a ways to go.
Browells has blem ar15 mags on the low,low
Beretta Sr.!!
As of this post.
Good day!
Beretta ❤
Thanks for this comparison. It seems like they must be practically the same in their internals.
Yes, as far as I know, the only thing that’s different internally is the recoil spring, a slightly different trigger, and not having a cocked indicator on the A1 models. Most of the changes are external, including the slide serrations, different grip texture, and an optics cut.
@@archipelago93 thank you for the information.
Love the firearm. Have the L. E. O. version in Centurion size. Waiting on same for APX A1 Centurion
Excellent!! Thanks for watching & smashing the Thumbs Up 👍 Button.
Stay Safe! Beretta9MMUSA Sr.
Hello , I was wondering if the slides are interchangeable between the old and new as well?
Are the barrels interchangeable?
Sir. You being a Marine and today being Memorial day, I share this story with you.
Last year (2022) my uncle who is a
retired Marine gunnery Sargent, 20+ yrs with the Corp, went to the Ukrain. I believe he felt strongly about women, children, and civilians being murdered. My uncle spent almost month's helping to train Ukrainians for combat against the Russians. The conditions, were rough. He survived and made it back to the state's. Although my uncle never said it directly, I think he had to do what Marines are trained to do while he was there.
My uncle is 67yrs old.
A blessed memorial day to you, Beretta Sr and Beretta Jr. 🇺🇸
Ronin 1911 10mm owner 👍
And as always, Let's go Brandon !!!
Front seriations are really nice , well done 👍
Seems like a good plastic pistol. :)
Beretta Sr. LOL!
@@BERETTA9mmUSA I hear y'all Lol.
Quick question: are the APX magazines compatible with either the 92 series or PX4 Storm guns?
Both beretta's are exalent choices but little be more a prefere the apx a1 tactical ! Also Beretta company is one of my favorite company's! Thanks for the video sir!
Just picked mine up! I could not pass it up for $500. What a steal!
Excellent!! 😎🇺🇸👍💥💥💥
Beretta Sr.
Same last one for 500
They need to list this grip module and sights on their website! Why would Beretta sell an optics ready “no optic plate included” and standard sights instead of suppressor height sights. They are on some BS!
I have the original APX in the compact
I too have an A1 and an A0.. Although they're supposed to be basically the same, I shoot the A0 better. I've even swapped frames., Still the same.. I shoot the A1 slightly left. But i love the APX. Not the perfect gun, but it does everything you ask of them.
Yes Sir! Thank-you!
Beretta9MMUSA Sr.
Love my gen 1 Centurion. It's not going anywhere.
Sigh... The original is a disappointment to me. I may eventually try the DPM system. The 8# trigger pull was just unrealistic. I went through the Beretta Sport Striker Spring and currently the Galloway Precision Stainless Steel Striker Spring. It did clean up to 6.5#. For now it is purely a range piece. I got a wonderful deal on it and I like the unique appearance. The thing I learned from this is to not be a pioneer but a settler. Of course after I purchased, Beretta came out with the RDO model. No machinist will touch the original to mill the slide as mechanics are close in there. I like the way it shoots and did check out the A1. The particular one had a great trigger. Looking forward to your range impressions on the A1. 🙂
I agree, both could be a touch better for sure. The triggers are not what I wish they were. Maybe they will improve with more rounds or finally I will try aftermarket. I could Sell everything and keep my Best 10 1911 pistols and 5 Glocks. LOL.
Thanks for watching Sir!
Beretta9MMUSA Sr.
So, would you agree that an original APX, gen 1, mint, like new, for a pinch over 3 Benjamin's is a fair value$? The majority of my past experiences with ALL BERETTA firearms have been VERY FAVORABLE. Feed back would be appreciated. Thanks for the video! NICE content, very informative!
@@timothyjohnson4285 Yes $300 for Excellent condition slightly used is a great deal. Enjoy it. 😎🇺🇸👍
Will the original slide fit on the A1 frame?
I think so…. But not 100% sure, they are in the safes. B9USA Sr.
Got the tactical, 500, then a $100 rebate
I like my Apx gen 1 a lot just had some things about it I wasn’t stoked about the pin that popped up was too strange for me and the slide cuts were a bit strange and sharp sticking out like that, the new one looks to have it all done right. Honestly I think people saw that pin popping up and just thought so many options don’t have that strange feature I’ll pass even though it’s a great gun but I definitely like the new one alot more
Maybe the original APX has the better trigger because it has more rounds through it?
$500?? Try like $348 after rebate, Now that's a steal.
Tactical. Ok. But the sights.... Im change.....
Magazines are not that expensive, my 92x I ordered a lot more than the three came with it I think I have 17 because I love magazines it's a guy thing yeah?
$250-350 after rebate
On the Gen 1 model the slide serrations “Do not work” at all when wet. Otherwise the pistols are acceptable as the Italian Glocks that they are.
Very True! Thanks very much for watching. Beretta Sr.
The original is ugly!!! The A1 Tactical is so much more pleasing to my eye!!!
Four hundred bucks at Budsgunshop right now
