- Exams are finished and I finally got to finish a song I've been sitting on for a little while. This is the first one I've written wholly on piano, and since it isn't my main instrument I'm pretty proud of what I was able to create within that limitation.

Listen with your eyes closed and the line “I’ll call fire down from the heavens” gives an amazing visual of Caleb casting 9th level Meteor Swarm.
I wish they went to level 20. This would have been epic to see celeb attack a bunch of high level enemies from far away with meteor swarm

Whenever I listen to this, I have the mental image of the Mighty Nein attending a ball or party in Jorhas, and Caleb just seeing a piano in the center of the room and starting to go at it with the Bright queen and Essek just watching in awe from a distance, Caleb using major illusion to make literally fire fall all around them like shooting stars as he gets to the climax.
TLDR: I can imagine him singing this.

@@ChaseNoseworthy I was just listening to the Playlist, didn't realize there was a new song added in, and went "Oh, that's the Widogast one" at the first couple tunes.
First time I watched this, I completely forgot that it was the Cerberus Assembly that broke Caleb. I spent a solid ten minutes trying to find the symbolic links to Hades' dog.
When I got it, it hit a little harder. Beautiful.
God that little tune from Tradegy of Widogast at the start gives me goosebumps

The constant change of pace as you were playing was really well done! One of the best fan songs I've ever heard.

After the reunion special this hits different
This one hit different, same chills I got from Yasha's... Woah. I feel like the tempo changes reflect the internal conflict within Caleb. So. Cool.
Just from the intro I'm getting Freddie Mercury, Phantom of the Opera, Bowie and then that voice. Wow-o-wow. This is the dark brooding burning Caleb I've always imagined. If there was a Bond Movie called Cerberus, this could be the theme. It's amazing. It's iconic. YES.

This was beautifully haunting. Caleb is such a dynamic character with his choice of spells. (No spoilers) this truly flagged life to more of his pain and his battle. Thank you for this beautiful music.

Good lord. I just discovered your channel today and it is becoming the background to my whole dnd campaign now.
My main villain/anti hero i write about a lot has similar vibes to Caleb. Tielaun is a half demon who's mother died giving birth to him, and grew up deformed with no family except his brother. His actual arc is a lot different than Caleb, but they deal with a lot of similar themes and emotions and the music you make for Caleb is beautiful and fits him so well. Its wierdly validating to see people making art about the type of character I've built most of my writing around
