There's a golf course in the south of England that has about 780 yard par 4 because it starts on the top of a cliff face and just entirely goes downhill to the clubhouse. The average driver can easily break 450yards on it. My friend drove it about 650 yards after connecting perfectly with his tee shot and then birdied it. It's literally just a completely straight slope to the green with about a 45degree angle downwards.
@@thirstybonsai1888 did you read the comment? the final hole starts on top of a huge hill and just drops down at about a 45 degree angle until the green. It's an 800 yard par 4 because of this and it's a birdie chance with a good drive. 😂 My favorite ever golf hole.
I don't really understand what's so difficult to understand about this... It's an elevated tee where the ball just runs down a huge slope. Obviously a huge part of the drive is the ball rolling down the slope until it eventually stops several hundred yards later.
Top guys average 300, so 198 2nd shot to hit the green in regulation is well within reason. Gotta restrict the tech imo otherwise we'll be seeing 8000+ yards in no time.
I think he didn't see the ball coming but could hear it bouncing on the tarmac, and so he panicked thinking he was about to get smacked in the face by a rogue ball.
When I was a golfer in high school, a guy I was in a match with almost drove a par 5 because he hooked it onto a cart path and it bounced hard 5 or 7 times.
shouldn't be too hard to verify the longest drive i the history of the Tour was at Oak Hills CC San Antonio TX in the eighties 700+ yards down a drainage ditch the pro had to hit a three wood wedge back to the green. Just the facts Man /
would be handy if you actually captioned how long each of the shots were, kinda useless video without it
Just listen to the commentary also.
We all have ears with all know how far they hit it😂😂😂
LOL Wtf is that guy doing on the cart path on the first shot
play how it lies but it is golf rules
@@Teleahhhh talking about the dude spazzing out at like 0:09

I think he got out over his skis thinking it was going one way then couldn't quite pull off the lean switch 😂
This is just Rory Mcilroy and a bunch of South African's xD
😂😂but we south Africans like hitting long
And rickie
I think this video just added 25 yards to my tee shots tomorrow. I feel the power!
Keep up those daily uploads!
Amazing editing, straight to the point, also nice added details by including some follow up shots to reach the green.
What the hell wrong with the man who’s topped the ball
He special lol

And you don't even remember the name of the golf course? Ok...
@@nickmeredith002yeah, he’s right, what’s the name of the golf course then?

Does the first one also count as the longest shot in terms of time that the ball was traveling? Took up the whole first minute of the video! 😮
0:41 Should the ball be placed at point of bystander contact
0:08 have watched this 30 times and I still cant figure out why that guy lagged out and turned like that
