Free diving is a special thing IMO. Not many will ever be any good at it. Where did you get this amazing woman, Fran, from? 31meters? No fins? She doesn't even look winded upon resurfacing. Just amazing. And she's good with a spear gun as well. Rare!

Strick & Fran congrats on consistently putting out such great content .I learnt to dive at 8yrs old in our pool in the back yard ,turned 60 last year & still love it , being old l grew up watching Ron and Valerie Taylor & can honestly say your on camera presence is growing to give the same vibe ,like them, where your love of the Outdoors & Diving shines through , along side the knowledge you both pass on . I have said it before but Spear Fishing equipment companies should be kicking down your doors to have you both as the great ambassadors for our sport that you both are .

169 feet freediving impressive! I went with the 1998 US Freeding team (photographer) to Sardinia Italy for the World Freediving Cup. 1st place was around 200 feet so you would have been up there with some of the best. Be careful though, we had 7 Shallow water blackouts the first day. 169 feet is exceptional.

From the thumbnail I knew it was Dean's Blue hole, Long Island Bahamas. Absolutely amazing place, amazing country. So many beautiful untouched islands. Seeing more videos now of one there called San Salvador amazingggg!
Adequate Vitamin D levels are supposed to be critical in fending off respiratory and blood infections. I am guessing both of you have pretty high vitamin D levels with as much time as you spend in the tropical sun!! Looks like that right thumb has healed up pretty well.

Clearing your ears bit. Valsalvar maneuver poper name!
Equalising pressure on the ear drum.
As a commercial diver you learn the holding your nose or use a nose clip.
Then breathe out gently until your ears click.
Very quickly this becomes a natural thing to do easily.
Hard to describe! But can do this still even sitting on my sofa watching you!
Flexing you inner throat produces enough pressure to click eardrums!
