Just a suggestion on the langouste. Par boiling them alive yields better tasting and firmer meat. You can still grill them later, but it makes a huge difference.

Growing up diving the Florida Keys and seeing the reef die, I like to hope the coral has fared better in the Bahamas. It hasn't. We don't even know what we are missing. All of that dead rock was living coral 50 years ago. Nice Hogfish though, and a Nassau Grouper! They were even easier to shoot than a Hog! Which is why they are protected in the Keys now, if they exist there at all.

I've said it before and it bears repeating, Fran is a stone cold huntress once she hits the water!! It was heartwarming seeing Jack and Lenny together, kind of reminded me of playing with my nephews when they were that age, and Strick you never think you're ready and then they leave for college or Uni., no kidding it goes by so fast you don't even have time to think about it. Love where you are in the Bahamas, very clear water, nice variety of fish and good hunting. I used a shorter pole spear in Mexico years ago and thought it was a hoot and a great way to harvest fish. Hope you have a great "Vacation" and I look forward to your next video!!

Very enjoyable , lived in Southern NSW for a while and back to Sydney I loved fishing and hunting for lobsters with some friends , when we cooked lobsters or fish , there s nothing wasted , we cooked everything , even fish head , all cooked , the lobster only washed it before cut opened for fire , after washed cut it opened removed the intestines off and straight to the fire because if we washed it again it will clean out all the natural goodies like its flavours , roes and natural taste of the head add up to the meat , anyway you do what you need to do to your lobster , I love cooking lobsters and fish with the heads easy cooked , anyway well done guys take care stay safe
Hi Guys I found your videos and watched them amazing adventure , great way to experienced basic way of life in nature , the only thing I wanted to comment is when you out there we know that its alot of fun and a lot of fresh food enough for everyone , but I just wanted to say when you got those beautiful lobsters and fish you dont wasted anything even dont wash the lobster s head after cut opened because you washed away the delicious flavour and taste roe off the head , you can , wash it before cut it open for cook , the meat are delicious so as the lobster head are flavoured by its own juice beautiful , I enjoyed watching this video but when you washed the head ooh its a lot of taste flavour there anyway its your food not mine you do what you need to do with it anyway , yum good on you , nothing to waste when I m cooking sea food or fish , my family and some other families love lobster head even fish head easy cooked ,
Great video. next time, keep the lobster tomalley. Pan sear it and then put them in scrabbled eggs and add a bit of truffle oil to finish it off. It's heavenly.
