Thank you for this, Hunter. Very insightful. I am currently reading Bulgakov's The Tragedy of Philosophy; it is excellent, incredibly sophisticated, and has very important critiques. Also, I have wanted to learn Koine Greek for a while and have a relatively free summer from studies. I would appreciate any recommendations or methods; you seem to have a thorough grasp. Are you fluent? God bless.

I’m not close to being fluent, but I recommend memorizing the alphabet, then beginning with a Greek New Testament workbook. Once you finish this, purchase an intermediate New Testament Grammar book. I haven’t gotten past this step!

Thanks for sharing. Btw Mary was not in the burning bush with Jesus, Mary is the burning bush who contained the uncreated flame of divinity without being consumed, Jesus Christ.

Right right, I should have said that iconography portrays Mary as the burning bush itself. When I said “in” I was thinking in spatial terms, as the iconography portrays. But yes, the more exact phrasing is that she was the bush itself
