Great job! I just recently found out I had this issue and I was getting ready to take it to the dealer but wanted to find someone with a brain like yourself that already fixed this issue and I thank you for that!!
My 75755 brakes dont always stop the mower.from rolling. Even if i turn the engine off, it will keep rolling. I live on a hill so it is a pain keeping it sideways on the hill. Would this be a brake module issue? It seems like it always moves the brake rods but the brakes inside the transmisson just dont catch. Half the time it stops like normal though.
If you only mow your own yard, probably not, but if you mow other properties it’s nice not to have to strap you mower down every time you transport it. Also, you never know what kind of terrain you’ll be mowing. A lot of times a commercial mower will need to hop off the machine to look through high grass or to move something out of the way so it’s nice to not have your mower roll away when you do that.
Can we just take the module out and put it in the dumpster and bypass it without building anything. Yours isn’t bad for handyman but for me…it’s hard. My Z turn might be having that brake issue and I want to replace the module as it’s only a matter of swapping. However it seems that those Toro Z tend to be having this issue as they get older thus bypassing would be the ideal option. Any tip about bypassing would be very helpful. Thank you
There is a way to just bypass the module. It won’t have a break so if you move it on a trailer you’ll need to strap it down. Other than that just park it somewhere where you know it won’t roll. I don’t remember how. Just search RUclips for, bypass Toro electric brake.
Plain and simple explanation. Thank you

That is really cool! Love beating the system with something simple like this. Thank you for your video.
Brilliant, Warren! You’re the king of KISS! 🔧👍

Do you really need the brake?

Thanks
Hope I can find it
Mines been great. Yeah I don’t care for the break too much. It’s a little convenient sometimes but hopefully this repair is quick.
Nice work sir
Thanks for watching

You should sell this as a kit
I'd buy one today seriously
