All this whilst trying to grow our little business. It's well and truly "Silly season" !

I was led to believe that bees don't work red clover, only the white. But you saw bees working red!

Was the pumpkin pollination a paid job?
You’ll be becoming one of my favourite beekeeping person on RUclips. I’d love to know will you be paid anything for being on the pumpkins? Just curious?
Those pumpkin flowers need pollination very early as they start to flower .... I had planned on moving my hives to that pumpkin site but ended up taking them over to morecambe... couldn't see the benefit from it as the site wasn't big enough
Beekeeping is a hard way to earn a living, i'm rooting for you.

Only our strongest hives go up to the heather as it's tough on the bees. We like them to bee wall to wall brood and bees.
Good luck with the new building and expansion. I guess one of your neighbours doesn't like you working at home.

I’ve moved away from honey production to nuc and queen sales. We don’t have the forage like you do in Ireland and it’s quite difficult to rely on honey alone.
We will always produce the honey but..... we are looking into other avenues as well. As you know inconsistency in crops and weather is too much of a risk to rely on 100%
We have been increasing our nuc production this year.

Great video , you have a lot going on . Bees everywhere this year. OSR, beans , borage and then the heather . Keep up the hard work .
