I don't think I've seen something like that in the USA... I usually just need to recruit strong friends- haha... 2- I noticed that you have some hives on stands, so on the ground directly, some you were talking about "bring in stones or something to stand some hives on..."- is it just sort of what's handy on a particular site/location? I'm just wondering about critters that can possibly move in from the ground level... I'm on the look out for ants, etc.. and mine on a a stand, off the ground. I just wondered if you got more bugs - laid directly on the ground. just wondering.. thanks!

Maybe they know what's coming ?? 😮 It's my first season of giving the barrow a go... but up to now I'm really impressed with it. It makes my life so much easier moving hives around as I'm usually on my own. The hives on the ground will be raised up on a stand once I take some concrete blocks to site, I keep forgetting. Other than slugs and mice we don't really have any "Critters" that would bother the bees/hives. A strong hive of bees will always be able to control ants etc.
