Another great video James 👍Organising the toy Fendt tractor for the young lad is a nice touch 👌 I remember as a young boy collecting all my farm toys. And when I was old enough operating the real thing! Love farming and working the land 🙂👍
James...i must say...what a pleasure it is to watch ur episodes...from the details and knowledge you kindely share, to the video production quality and the standard of quality/standard of you're farming practices and most of all your connection with your staff ... the atmosphere is infectious..well done james.
Thank you James, your videos are always informative and give a true reflection on the highs & lows of arable farming, must say the cost of machinery and repairs are astronomical, your pride shines through as you talk about the people working with you. Keep up the great videos
Well done James on another great video, the content is superb and how you explain the operations is great. Well done on making two little boys happy, and for the gift to Sandy's daughter.
Oh wow, we were not expecting that! 😱 Thank you! We don't like bringing the wrong tractor along and offending anyone 😅 We will be along next week! Agree on the sound of the Challenger too 🎶
Carpet farming was always so much fun. Perfect weather for all occasions, best yields, few breakdowns. Biggest problem was looking out for the wild life interventions (ie. the dog) and irate grow-ups who (in my view) carelessly trod on sharp bits of machinery. Halcyon days.
Love this channel. By far the best farming channel on RUclips. Love the way you include the staff in your videos. As a farm worker of 25 years it’s really appreciated that you treat your staff well. Would love to work for a guy like you.
The joy your videos bring to myself and my family is unmeasurable, thank you for taking the time to create, show and explain the endless hurdles you face in farming on a daily basis, but also the pleasure and pride when all goes well.
Very enjoyable video mixed with serious points as well as humour especially with Sandy`s baby`s name. Also the way you treat your staff is absolutely first class, very different from back in the day. Having been a land drainage contractor for a number of years in Cheshire, it was interesting to hear that you still keep up the maintenance on the drains and ditches, something I think is lacking on farms today. Keep up the good work.
Nice to see your ploughman turning properly on the headlands, I was the first in the UK to turn like that in a 65 challenger and 10 furrow back in 1999/2000
Excellent video, great to hear all the details and costs as well as the highs and lows. I can tell it’s a tricky time for you at the moment but keep smiling and laughing it really makes a difference. Thank you for brightening my day too 😊👍
Hi James, the videos keep getting better, I very much look forward to them. I'm impressed every week by how well you know your staff, despite the obvious size of your business - a sign of a genuinely invested manager.
2 boys will be happy with the tractor. smashing I'm really enjoying learning about arable farming. All dairy in the Ribble valley so nice to see this large kit. thanx James. ta-rah
I loaded one of your lorries yesterday, my first ever grain load, and it went so well your driver called to say how well I done 😊 and I must say he was brilliant 👏
Another excellent piece of information about farming I retired many years ago but still miss the days of combining modern machinery looks absolutely amazing compared to what we used keep up the good work thankyou
The rain which drenched West Suffolk all afternoon and evening on the 6th August: I really hope you'd got all that grain back under cover. What a job farming this year. HER - MY - OH - KNEE what are you like :-)
I was also worried to see hundreds of tonnes of wheat sitting outside like that as it could take a few hours to move it into the shed or get it under cover if rain threatens.
Loved every minute off this again you tell me everything about farming that I would have never known I always thought about farming as simple and straightforward how wrong am I keep the brilliant videos coming truly from bottom of my heart thankyou xx
Having been born and bred in Wales, I had little knowledge of arable farming 😢I am now addicted to your video, and I'm afraid I can't wait for your next episode. By the way, I have the utmost respect for your ability to produce a programme that educates consumers about the complexity of food production. Thank you, diolch y fawr iawn 🏴🏴
Hi James great video glad to see some body still ploughs and subsoils even though i still think min till is the way forward soil needs air and drainage ,dont think much to no till as the crops have proved this year .best machine i have ever used a Maconell shakerator full soil movement without the clots good drainage good yields .Retired Yorkshire farmer. All the best.
I’m really enjoying these insights into the world of arable farming. The capital required to fund all the machinery necessary is simply staggering, as I would imagine the diesel bill to go with it. I hope you’re able to find a decent seat here window to bring in the remainder of the harvest. Stay safe - it’s a dangerous game.
Really enjoy your videos, you must keep making them throughout the year as I think it’ll be great to see all the highs and lows of a full season. By the way you’re definitely more Iceman than a Goose and you need to tell this to Maverick!
Only recently found your channel, really informative & great to see you chatting with your workforce, keep up the great work James & keep on laughing it's brilliant. 😀
I'll say it again one of the best RUclips channels around James's is a natural presenter some of the costs and expenditure is scary your fuel bill must be astronomical looking forward to the next one 👍
i watch many farming channels, especially in the states but yours is brilliant. great to see a boss get the best out of his staff from being a descent bloke. fair play to you.
James it’s just brilliant, I farm in bucks on a tiny scale compared, it’s incredible how you run this massive operation and you do it all with a smile and a great sense of humour even under difficult circumstances absolute credit to you! I am trying to get my daughter to watch this, she has just left Reading university studying agriculture, I told her, you must watch as this is how the big boys do it!! Keep up the great work!! 👍👍
James it must be truly rewarding to see your progress on your PX channel. In my opinion and it goes without saying; your endeavours are a superb way to attract new blood to farming. I have twin twenty year old lads who are a couple of years into their agricultural journeys in toiling with the land. Their debriefs at the end of their day makes me yearn for the days for when I was a young lad in farming. I think you have just recruited another young fella who will transcend from carpet farming to big boys toys before we know it. Advice to Sandy: you choose your next child's name - keep them short viz Bob or Jane 😆
Fantastic video as usual James I think it would be a great idea for u guys to have a px carpet farm set up love to see all ur kit can’t wait for next video 👍🏻
Hi James & crew lovley vid as allways . had the pleasure to see your team operating many years ago in Pidley in Cambridgshire ,lovely to see some footage of your beautiful machinery ,keep up the good work
If you're father is looking for a good mobility scooter I can strongly recommend the TGA supersport, you can have a single seat or double seat and they are great across uneven ground and Fields. My father even had a 4 wheel trolley as a trailer on his one.. He also had a small ifor Williams trailer with a tail gate ramp , so he could take it to ploughing matches and park out of towns and ride in. Great RUclips channel. Keep up the great work, Cambridge was on a channel 4 documentary as a hotspot for bicycle theaft in the country. It is on RUclips somewhere.
The BBC needs to put a 10 minute segment of PX Farms farming activities on County File, and see the ratings sore! Wouldn't it be to easier to plough the headlands, short work and around poles with a smaller mounted plough?excellent informative videos and looking forward to seeing the pea harvesting.
love these videos. James your laugh is awesome trying to say Sandy's daughters name .God nearly fell out my seat 😂.fantastic farming .the kit is amazing.
Great video's, James love your honesty about the job and you always tell us the price of everything involved! Look forward to your videos every week, from a busy arable farmer in Scotland
Really love these videos. When your quieter any chance of a farm tour so we can see the grain stores, machinery sheds etc. we just normally see you stood inside them. Many thanks
Another fabulous video James ! Let’s hope for some sunshine to get those coops in . We are up your way tomorrow to visit my son so will keep an eye out for you!
Another great video thank you Not many people plough heavy clay soils these days is this done for weed control mainly ? , how do you find the the twin track crawlers against quad trac / rx ? Or big wheel tractors ?
Hello James. Enjoy your channel , Been in Ag all my life, presently carting grain for a guy quite close to your set up. We named our daughter Hermione 35 yrs ago before Harry Potter and had exactly the same issues with pronunciation! If it helps we always used to say split it up …….HER-MI-O-NE 👍
you must be impressed at the way your channel has grown. Its by far the best farming channel on youtube
you won the internet today with the arrangement of that carpet farming fendt 👌👌👌👍👍👍

Superb informative video again, could I ask since Implementing CTF has the increase in yield performance been noticeable, and by roughly what margin
Was up by you a couple weeks back at Childerley Hall up from west Suffolk, had to drive past the farm. Proper outfit you’ve got 👍
Vraiment un plaisir a regarder ces vidéos 👍
Ici aussi en France 🇨🇵 la météo ne nous a pas facilité la tâche pour la récolte
