I’m on a laptop with similar but slightly better specs. Epic settings seems to be at 104 average on this video because of shadows being on. If you turn off shadows and keep everything else at epic, you get a consistent 165FPS.
i got a 3440x1440 monitor (for work) and am driving it with this card. thought it would suck at that resolution but with DLSS it plays death stranding at max settings with ~70 fps. really impressed by that. i hope a lot more DLSS games come out.
i share these sentiments. PPL really get into the fanboyism of amd vs nvidia...w.o realizing ppl are real time doing what you just described and DLSS is earning ppl like you among others massive gaming viability that otherwise wouldnt exist. Including the GREAT temps aspects to cpu on a laptop when utilizing larger resolutions i see the same on my 4k amoled omen. 4k has been a hoot for arpg/mmo, and any title with a controller nioh, fallen order etc. The more i see these newer pve titles offering DLSS support the less i feel inclined to sell my laptop...and more compelled i am to sell my desktop...as LETS BE REAL....multiplayer games really lack a NEED for PURE GPU power esp competitive shooters and moba. The older i get the less motivated i am to jump into a KOTH shooter with these cracked out on addy kiddos. its becoming less of a "thing to do for fun" after a long day of work LMAO. But these PVE titles sure are a hoot. As well as tarkov which also shits on GPUS. 1080p vs 1440p with my laptop sees no drops and 1080p sees no gains.
This is exactly what I have in my gaming laptop. Got lucky and happen to get the laptop on clearance at my local Walmart for 1260 and that's with tax. I'm not a huge fan of purchasing a computer from Walmart....but I couldn't turn down the deal.
Got a gaming pc w this also for $700 flat. Mind you its still to this day $1650 on amazon . The laptop was brand new, the razer from 2020. Talk about a sweet deal. Congrats to anybody able to be part of the PC clan. 🗣🗣👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽💪🏽 Happy Gaming Brothers

@@emder2159 the laptop shown has a 10875H, which has 8 cores, as opposed to the 6core 10750H. Of course, some companies like Dell and Alienware don’t have good cooling, so you may need to undervolt or repaste if that is the case. But either way, 80s aren’t really terrible for a gaming laptop.

OK let's dissect the problem, first of all update drivers, driver update is a hidden cause for low fps, once you have done that, heck whether you are running the game on the desired resolution, run it at 1080 p for the fps the video got, if that is also turned on then check whether you have same graphics setting, if still problem persists, check whether your components are heating up and throttling, the model you got may have some thermal issues due to which the throttling is happening, happy gaming
Probably not, that card is really more ideal for 1080p 80-100 fps, at 1440p you would most likely be hovering around 40-50 fps, also you didn't mention the refresh rate of your monitor but I'm gonna guess 144 hz so no that laptop would not pair well with that monitor.
I'm fairly certain he has it on a cooling pad, actually. Even the good ones are actually quite affordable, so you should try one if you don't have one already!

Maybe if you 🔌 your laptop the fps will be higher. I have the same laptop aswell and when playing whit no charger on the fps are lower like 20% but the fans are less louder and the temps are also lower.
I bought Triton 300 with i7-10750h and RTX 2070 MaxQ last month. Playing warzone temp sky rocketed to 90+ degrees at least and it was too uncomfortable to even touch the keyboards on the GPU side. Then undervolting dropped the temps to 80-85 degrees. What surprised me the most was that, after a month, today I hard reset (USB boot) windows and now temps are 80-81 degrees at highest with max settings(Warzone) without even undervolting. FYI don't use the stock windows that comes with your laptop.
If you have the asus m15 tech with Sean has a video on some settings to make it run cooler. Definitely helped with mine, went from 90 and up to low 80s.

Poorly optimised machine, I must say. I was able to achieve better benched on a 10750h and rtx 2060 mobile than your 10875h and 2070 max q. Granted, max q isn't good but, especially when paired with the 8 core cpu, should outperform a lower spec machine. Interesting...
Your RTX 2060 is then not a 90w. Because i can assure you that the i7 6 cores + 2070 maxQ 80w beat the amd 4800H 8 core + 2060 90w. With around +10 FPS. (tested)

I got a laptop that’s similar, but with a max-p 2070 and 32GB of ram. Runs like a dream.

What's the meaning of 1% low? Like some Fps less than the main
The lowest fps drop experienced. If it stutters down to 20 for a moment and back up to 60+ your 1% low will be 20
