I like playing GTA V Online a lot, but the problem I have is that after like 15 mins of gaming on GTA Online, it heats up pretty bad. I have it set to 1080p fullscreen and it still heats up all the way to about the TJMax according to Core Temp. I don't know what the problem is and how to fix it. What should I do????

Sorry I’m late on this. The OLED looks more saturated color-wise the IPS on the MacBook Pro looks more accurate. This has a much faster response time, for gaming the Mac IPS has ghosting. It’s also a different aspect ratio, the 16:10 screen on the Mac is nice for editing, but doesn’t always play well with game resolutions. Hope that helps, or that you enjoy whichever one you ended up getting ✌️
It's hard to find an OLED 4K touch screen these days on gaming laptops. All my laptops have been OLED , once you go OLED it's hard to go back. I think all laptops should have touch OLED 1440P minimum It's a LAPTOP you should be able to touch the screen.
4K laptops don’t always get the best battery life, depending what you are doing you can try setting the desktop resolution to 1080p on battery and the GPU won’t have to work as hard
one problem I have with this vs DELL - spare power units and external cell. in dell I can use external laptop cell and low-wat (40-120) PS - so my old car converter and PS from old laptops working. standard PS connector allows to use external cell (I use Krisdonia Portable Laptop Charger 185Wh/50000mAh Laptop Power Bank)

Do you recommend keeping this (as I think is a really good deal) or should I return it to get something that has better keyboard & battery life?
You probably won’t find much better for around the same price. You could also look at open box Zephyrus M15 from Best Buy. If you want to spend more, the new Zephyrus G15 is $1799 but has amazing battery life for a powerful Windows laptop. Definitely doable. Even though it is only 60hz, the OLEDs have really fast response times, so it will feel a little snappier than a 60hz LCD screen which is what 99% of monitors out there are 👍
It will be fundamentally different because it's an IPS screen. It wont have the deep contrast and insane richness of an OLED, but will still be nice for a laptop screen. I literally had the same question. They have the advance in stock, but I gotta wait 2 weeks for the base. I was weighing that same exact 500 dollar decision. Lol. Plus the base had 2 nvme slots, at the expense of a slightly lower wat battery. That was the splitting hair for me

Hello Sean,I'm not a competitive gamer ,I do animation, work on software like Autodesk Maya, Mudbox ,what would you suggest buying 144hz @ $1599 or 60hz @ $1799 ?
If you are mainly doing creative work, I would get the 4K OLED 60hz option. You will have way more room on screen for apps than with the 1080p display.
Ty for the great video!!! I bought one after watching this video.(Razer Blade 15 Base Gaming Laptop 2020: Intel Core i7-10750H 6-Core, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2070 Max-Q, 15.6" 4K OLED 60Hz, 16GB RAM, 512GB SSD, CNC Aluminum, Chroma RGB, Thunderbolt 3, Creator Ready, Black) I gave my BEAST PC to my adult son as I need to use the office as a bedroom for when grandkids visit. Moving the Beast (750W) PC into bedroom was making me so HOT that I went out a few times to roll around in the snow. This laptop is quiet and although it registers as running 150F, I don't feel the rooming catching fire like the BEAST. OK I have a tech question and a What If Question if anyone would be willing. Will the HyperX 3200 32x2 work and default at 2933? I know you mentioned it but wanted to ask if others have made the upgrade. What If I were to know someone who knew someone who left the bottom plate off and sat that on a KSI plastic laptop cooler to get lower temps? (Sort of a question but my English sucks lol)
Apparently Samsung says on these laptop OLED panels they make, they use something called “pixel shift” so it won’t get burn in. That being said, never say never, I’m sure in a worst case scenario it’s still possible.
Jack Donovan - it seems like they are making less of this color everywhere this year, in the US only the 4K option is available in it, not the 144hz. If you really want one maybe you could order international but that could be expensive depending on the taxes and exchange rates.
Not worth it at all, 1000 max and that's pushing it. RTX 4000 series is coming out now, you can get a way faster RTX 3000 laptop on discount for under 2000.
Depends on which one, but I typically use the official releases whether they are on its their own websites or hosted on github, etc. I avoid “rom sites”.
I have a 2017 Alienware 13 R3 1440p OLED with no burn in. Granted it's hooked up to an external monitor now but the screen still after 6yrs has no burn in.

A quick question, Should I buy Razer 2020 Base Model with i7-10750H 2070 maxQ super ($1899) which comes with 512TB SSD + 16GB RAM or Razer 2020 Advanced Model with i7-10875H 2070 maxQ SUPER ($2399) which comes with 512GB SSD + 16GB . I play games like overwatch, apexlegends, Dota2, league of legends and some latest games. I also use the laptop for adobe cloud nonprofessional usage like photoshop, ljghroom and premiumpro .
I do highly appreciate your input in above matter. Thanks
The advance is nice, but I wouldn’t say it’s worth an extra $500
I literally had the same question. They have the advance in stock, but I gotta wait 2 weeks for the base. I was weighing that same exact 500 dollar decision. Lol. Plus the base had 2 nvme slots, at the expense of a slightly lower wat battery. That was the splitting hair for me
Great review keep going
Thank you for the review. Can I use a 144hz external monitor? Have anyone used it as a "desktop" for gaming ?
Man i wish i take the 8750h instead of 7700hq, it proves itself in a test of time, it does have it flaws like thermals but id trade that for optimus and more cores
how is this computer doing In 2023 ? any issus
Would this laptop be great for live streaming? I plan on gaming on a separate monitor and using laptop to stream...I'm trying to decide between this and the Alienware m15 r3
Tbh they are probably going to perform very similarly. I’d go which whichever you like the build of better
@@TechWithSean alright, cool. Thank you so much!
Watching this Guy Like Watching. Max Headroom....Great Review I'm sold
thx for video u helped me so much
Whats the size limit for the ssd and the RAM?
keep it up!!! great video!!!
Is the Razer Blade 15 Base 2020 good for programmers/coders? I am one and I'm looking for a new laptop :)
Yeah
Do you have the option to change to a higher refresh rate if you lower the resolution?
Nope, this OLED screen is just 60hz
@@TechWithSean Oh ok thanks for the response im currently looking for a 4k laptop that offers a higher refresh rate for multiplayer games but no luck so far haha
@@TechWithSean honestly this razer laptop looks sweet but im just worried about screen tearing for when I might want to play a multiplayer game with like 1440p or 1080p resolution
I don’t think there are any high refresh 4K laptops on the market yet. In 2021 sometime, we are supposed to be getting some 1440p high refresh models I believe.
Hi Sean, have you tried microsoft flight simulator 2020 on it? They say its a very demanding game.
I have the 1080P screen with the 2070 Max Q Blade 15 Base, and it runs the game beautifully!
would you choose this or dell g7 4k I seen you reviewed that as well.
Im not gaming on this by the way.
This one. It has much better cooling.
@@TechWithSean thanks! I didn’t hear you talk about battery life can I get 5 hours consistently browsing in dark mode??
Nice review! Going to receive one soon
Did u get one? How's it ??
@@Jesse-lr8tr I did get one! I love it. The 4K screen is remarkable. I had to see it to believe it, and it’s just eye candy. The outer build quality is great also so far in the brief time I’ve had it. It feels very premium. The only problem I’ve had so far is that one of the fans seems to be on its last legs and is making quite the noise. The gaming performance is exceptional for such a thin device. I can play cyberpunk with RTX on with some settings tweaked.
@@chriscarr003 thanks for the info dude ...just wanna know whether it's running hot.
@@Jesse-lr8tr of course, you’re welcome! :) i haven’t installed any software to monitor temps yet but during a long gaming session of cyberpunk with most settings on the higher end, the keyboard area becomes very hot and borders on unbearable to use “WASD” When I play RuneScape, it doesn’t become unbearable at all
@@chriscarr003 thanks dude!!
I bought one after watching this video.(Razer Blade 15 Base Gaming Laptop 2020: Intel Core i7-10750H 6-Core, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2070 Max-Q, 15.6" 4K OLED 60Hz, 16GB RAM, 512GB SSD, CNC Aluminum, Chroma RGB, Thunderbolt 3, Creator Ready, Black)
I gave my BEAST PC to my adult son as I need to use the office as a bedroom for when grandkids visit.
I just bought this laptop on a huge sale. Does anyone know the peak nits on this?
What about oled burn-in? Will this screen degrade with time?
Apparently Samsung says on these laptop OLED panels they make, they use something called “pixel shift” so it won’t get burn in. That being said, never say never, I’m sure in a worst case scenario it’s still possible.
nice vid, was very helpful. Cant seem to find this model in mercury white over here in the UK. Very annoying
Jack Donovan - it seems like they are making less of this color everywhere this year, in the US only the 4K option is available in it, not the 144hz. If you really want one maybe you could order international but that could be expensive depending on the taxes and exchange rates.
amazon has this listed new at $2300 , worth it ? or overpriced?
Not worth it at all, 1000 max and that's pushing it. RTX 4000 series is coming out now, you can get a way faster RTX 3000 laptop on discount for under 2000.
@@TechWithSean
Thanks I found one on Ebay for $750
Seller bought it new and used it for about 5 hours.
where do you get your game emulators from?
Depends on which one, but I typically use the official releases whether they are on its their own websites or hosted on github, etc. I avoid “rom sites”.
Is this more powerful then the ps5?
Not sure, but I haven’t really paid any attention to ps5.
what about battery life
Smaller battery than the advanced but with this one you can add an SSD NVME drive. For that alone I'll plug it in after an hour !!
Has anyone with this laptop experienced burn in ?
Half a year with mine, no burn in; I haven’t seen any complaints about burn in so far
I have a 2017 Alienware 13 R3 1440p OLED with no burn in.
Granted it's hooked up to an external monitor now but the screen still after 6yrs has no burn in.
you r awesome men
It was either this or the Dell
You picked the good one
@@TechWithSean couldn’t have done it without your reviews thank you
6:48 / fake laughing 😂🤣, but apart from that good 😊 informative video.
Wonderful.
