Nice to see the car cleaned before the GS and brushes came out, I'm always a little perturbed when I see brushes being used at the prewash stage. Really nice little bit of content and a great outcome for that minging Merc. All the best.
Cheers Lee! Yeah it definitely makes more sense to me to save the brushes for the contact wash. Not so bad if it's just on the rubber seals but I wouldn't go near the grille or any paintwork without rinsing the pre-wash first
Yea I've seen guys pre wash and start with brush 🤷🏽♂️ that's a no for me...... great job on this car 👌🏽

Another great video Heather, hard to beat Green Star, I use it for everything, pre wash, wheels etc, never heard of Hydropel but will give it a try, looks so easy and a few months protection on unprepared cars is excellent

I found with Yum undress was my tyres looked better after each time I used the product and the tyre dressing lasted longer

Thank you! It was looking a bit grubby, I thought I'd struggle on the wheels a bit since the brake dust was very baked on but Hjul did a cracking job. The Hydropel sealant is brill as well, nice and easy to use

Thanks Dave :) I was fortunate it was a reasonably new car so I didn't uncover any real problems. I've got a couple of videos coming up on older cars and they definitely require a bit more effort to get them looking fresher

hi Sonic, sorry to interupt but i recently did my ceramic coating outside with no issues. i'd recommend the Gyeon Evo products with the Cure included. I went with the Pure version as i have quite a dark car (orange) and the inclusion of Cure which you apply shortly after the coating stops you having to worry about the car getting rained on until the coating is cured. Possibly the easiest coating ive applied, especially for out door application. just make sure the panels are cool and that you have a rainfree day forecast. and of course plan for 2 days to complete the job as with all ceramic coatings its the prep work for the coating that takes the time. (i also used the Gyeon Primer for the machine polish, the paintwork was sparkling after it!)

Just a pointer of you rinse from the bottom to the top your more likely to remove more of the contamination 😊
Oh you got some use out of the £10 car Chem mystery box a couple years ago then with hydropel.. I gave most of the stuff I got away 😅
It was the only product I think I really rated, surprised me a bit as I wasn't expecting much from a brand I hadn't heard of but it's good stuff. The spray can of "dash shine" I got did go straight in the bin though 😂

Another good watch so thanks again. As usual a number of products that spark my interest. I think if I did not have over a gallon of neat citrus I would try Green Star. I have been thinking about my next tyre cleaner after trying Auto Finesse, 303 and Gyeon. The Yum Undress has been sparking my interest lately with a few of their other products so that video was a big help.
Thanks very much John! Yum Undress and Autoglanz Rebound are my favourite tyre cleaners atm, bit more foamy compared to Gyeon. I am thinking of trying Carpro’s tyre cleaner too, looks like a good one

Yep I think they make some great products. My favourites are the Citrus and Foam+. The only product I didn’t really rate was the Ceramic spray sealant as the durability I got wasn’t great. If you have a look on my channel page I uploaded a vid on a grey Mini in December using most of their range

I can't remember the last time I washed my car. But it did rain this week. So I will say that's the last time it got washed and a couple of days last year when it rained.

That Hydropel looks really promising Heather. As good or better than GT Sigma (one of my favourites)? Really tempted to get some. Another cracking video.

I’d say Hydropel is a bit less fussy to apply and less likely to streak, although I wouldn’t consider Sigma to be a streaky product. The water behaviour is pretty similar and the durability as well to be honest. I do think Sigma has the edge though for boosting gloss

Is it me, or did the suds from the Fresso die rather quickly in the bucket?
Thank you! It’s not the most stable in the bucket but it’s definitely not the least I’ve tried either. It’s usually fine to get around a car without mixing the suds up again with the pressure washer, it does take me a while to move the camera around whilst filming though

Another great video, sun is out so i might give mine a spruce. Quick question - what gloves do you use? I bought some black nitrile ones from Amazon and they just fall apart. I suspect I went too cheap!
Cheers Ian! To be honest I’ve just been using Amazon ones for a while and they do rip fairly easily. I think the Black Mamba ones are better but just quite pricey

Thanks Jolie! I don't actually use any DI system as fortunately the water is pretty soft where I am. If I do notice the odd water spot after washing in summer I usually just tidy it up with Koch Chemie FSE

Thanks Mick! Yep to be honest most of the time I’ll go with a Citrus but the Greenstar works really well too and is a bit cheaper

You always have great content, when I am feeling lazy I reach for ceramic snow foam, after a contact wash. Either Wax Is Dead Ceramic Snow Foam, Autobrite Ceramic Magiseal or Auto Finesse - Lavish Ceramic Snow Foam, just find it far easier to protect a car, have you used any ceramic snow foam(s) that you can recommend?
Thanks Ricky! Ceramic foams are a cracking invention. Yum Cars sent their Foam+ to try a few months back and I’ve had great results with that. I think it adds more gloss than others I’ve tried and the water behaviour is brill. Been lasting about 8-10 weeks on the cars I’ve tried it on

I used the 25 degree one here, but a 40 degree one works well for rinsing too

I usually charge £45 for this kind of service on this size car. It takes me about 1.5 to 2 hours if I'm not filming :)

Why not just mix the GS into the foam? If you’re doing this for a living time is money.
I can get a more concentrated mix of GS on the car if I use the pump sprayer as I don’t have to factor in the extra dilution of the pressure washer and use more product. If the car was a bit cleaner/ had protection on it then mixing GS is a really good option to speed things up
