Numbers are very easy for me now.
Thanks my dear teacher ❤️
So glad Mona 🥰
I'm studying French right now in school ... It's complicated but the moment I came across this video I learnt a lot 😊
Your explanations are clear and smooth .. I'm glad I came across your video
Very useful video regarding French counting. I bless you to remain happy healthy wealthy and successful including your family and friends.
You are an amazing teacher
I always say that French numbers are like the Numbers round from the English gameshow Countdown. Basically you get 6 random numbers which you have to add, subtract, multiply etc in order to obtain a 3-digit number.
🤣🤣🤣
Thanks for making this video, it was really helpful. Thanks again ;)
Glad you enjoyed it!
Thank you very much! As a complete beginner I really learned a lot from your video. I knew that "cents" is used in plural but not why i.e. "deux cents" but "deux cent mille" is written. It was also interesting that the t in vingt can be spoken. I always thought that only people from Alsace pronounce the t.
Many do actually. It makes so much sense since it's also pronounced in23, 24, 25, etc :)
Dylan = everything beautiful in this world😊😊♥️♥️♥️♥️😊😊
Rania 😍🥰
Helped me a lot, merci

Oh my goodness, 😅I have been trying to know how to count, but you've really explaned it so very well that is now understandable. Thanks so much ❤❤

I love your lesson❤❤
Thank you Ms Dylan
My pleasure :)
I somewhere read that language learning is excellent exercise for development of our brains and it's anti-aging also, to use our brains more. Seems like french language, especially its number system is going to make me smartest and five years younger also. 😁
If only, french speaking would bring me une tallement beau...très très beau petit ami aussi. ☺🤗🥰
It is absolutely 😍
Thanks Ms. Dylane as always. Are there rules (or ways) to say about room number or tel. phone number? For examples, I can refer room or phone 312 as three twelve in English.🙏🙏
SO for room number, house numbers and everything, we say the number fully. Chambre trois cent douze.
For numbers it depends on the country, in France they tend to do number by number, 0 - 6 - 2 -3 etc.
In Belgium they tend to do by 2 numbers. 06 - 23 - ...
I hope it helps :)
Merci!

Bonjour Dylane! THIS WAS SO HELPFUL I CANNOT THANK U ENOUGH! But I had a small doubt regarding the placement of "-" between numbers. For example, 61 is soixante et un, 71 is soixante et onze but then 81 is quatre-vingt-un with the dash!!
Yes they are confusing. The easy way to remember it is when there is ET, no dash. If there is no ET, we had to add something si we added a dash :)
Thanks
Welcome :)
❤très utile
You are amazing
You are so sweet 🤩
Thanks for 4 you 😘 ❤️ 🙏 😊 and thanks
y pleasure :)
Because of you i got 100 percent on french 🎉
And because of your hard work! I am so proud of you ❤️
Hello Dylane, thank you for the video!
I have a question.
I have noticed that in many audios I have listened to, when they say something-neuf they usually drop the "n" sound before neuf.
For example, vingt-neuf I hear "va-neuf".
Quarante-neuf I hear "kaho-neuf".
Is this the case, or am I just imagining it?
Thank you kindly!
That's because there is no N sound in vingt or quarante. IN and AN make specific sounds :)
Thanks a lot, Dylane! Great video! To say French numbers we have to be mathematicians. 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Un peu oui 😂
Bonjour Dylane, are "quatre-vingt" and "quatre-vingts" both correct for 80? I already saw both versions and I'm bit unsure which I should use. Same is for "soixante et onze" and "soixante-onze".
it should be with an S, that was a typo :) for 71, it's soixante et onze :)
Okay, thanks for answering. Then I think I feel comfortable with the numbers up to 100 🫡
Très bien
thank you so much this video literally helped me to finish my homework faster💓💓 btw I'm Arab
I'm so glad 😍
Hello madame dylane. You are an awesome teacher. I have ome doubt that 21 is vingt et un . Why don't we link the et and un to "tun" ?
Please respond if you have time
We never link et to anything :)
Hi Dylane, The link provided in the book to access audio lessons is not working. Is there another way to access them?
oh weird! It just tried it and it works on my side but send me an email at info@theperfectfrench.com and I will send you the audio link :)
@@TheperfectfrenchwithDylane Hi Dylane, I send an email.

From number 70 to number 100 is a small math class. I wonder, what is the story behind it. Thank You! I enjoyed the lesson.
I agree 😅
goes back to the Gauls
Bonsoir Madame.
I have learnt such lesson earlier, but this one much better. Today again I must proud myself that I am learning from you. Most of the number has Nasal sound. Am I right Madame.
Bon nuit.
Yes they are :D You make so much progress, I am very proud of you!
❤❤❤
Is Un milliard one American Billion, or one European Billion? In English sometimes we use billiard or Trilliard to refer to the European versions of the number, to avoid confusion. So now I am confused when learning French!
Brilliant teaching. Bonkers system in French though
I agree 😂
Madame, is there any concept of teen age (13-19) in French?
L'adolescence?
@@TheperfectfrenchwithDylane 🌹 Merci madame 🌹
Earlier, I was thinking that French may use 'Zeager' for (11-16)😅
Another thing to learn French large numbers is by watching french game shows like "La Roue de la Fortune"
C'est vrai :D
If you had told me a year ago that by now I'd be able to count to a billion in French I wouldn't have believed you. Once you break it down and learn the rules though, it's not anywhere as difficult as it first seems.
Exactly Ramona! And bravo! It's amazing the progress you make!
So there is no liaison for “et un”? I heard the t is muted.
Et never takes a liaison after :)
Bonjour madam
Mille deux cent ?
Why we are not using s with cent
I bet that 99% of learnes gave up on french after seeing the counting system... 💀
Actually I think it's conjugation :D

It's a bit strange to count from 70 till 99 sometime i say wrong
french are very good math above 60
My favourite number in French will be Cinq. I love its prononciation😄
I didn't understood the topic until I saw your lesson😊
I am happy you get it now 🙂
J'imagine 😆
Is 80 quatre-vingt or quatre-vingts? In some places, I see it has an s
With an S ;) I think it stayed in my editing software 😁 I think I added a not in my comment but I will check
If the letter c is not a vowel, then why t is pronounced in sept cents ?
Because the T at Sept is pronounced ;)
Merci David :)
@@TheperfectfrenchwithDylane de rien Dylan.👍🌻👍
Eliana Mach Umthree 392 numbers in my friend four please I love it very😅😢
A correction, 80-Quatre-vingts
Did I miss the S?
Can't I say septeize /huiteize/ neufeize?
milliard is far better than 'billion', which is really 10 to the power of 12 not 9.
U r so beautiful ❤
But why isn't 71 60 10 1
That's just French 😅

FRENCH IS A JOKE YALL 😭 WHY ARE WE MULTIPLICATING NUMBERS 😭 septante-neuf makes SO MUCH MORE sense then soixante-dix-neuf 😭
