Congratulations Tony! Thank you for all your hard work and for taking the time to share your skills and talent with us all. You have helped so many people learn jazz and blues piano.🎹🎶👍
Mr. 100K! Congratulations. I've always heard ron-NELL. She also co-wrote "who's afraid of the big bad wolf" for Disney. Longtime friend and lover of Geo. Gershwin. Thank you, thank you, thank you for this. Adding this to my vocal repertoire. Love your content. Take good care of your hand(s), please.🎉✨🌟🎉
Thanks! I played that the other day and the E m7b5 was bugging me and it never occurred to me to just ignore it! But worse than that, the first place I was looking at it was The Ultimate Jazz Fakebook (compiled by Dr. Herb Wong) and that chart is worthless where it leaves the climb to Am and Bm out until it seems weird when it finally happens. That chart may be more faithful to the original on the bridge, but I remembered that I had Real Book 2 somewhere and abandoned the Wong version!
A local Scottish piano tuner here called "Jock (Peter) Cooper" used to a do great "Club act" Piano and comedy. He did some great "Art Tatum" licks interrupted by lots of "Did I tell what happened on the way here?" type jokes. but he really did Art Tatum pretty well.
‘The turnaround’s a bunch of II-Vs. You can assign the correct Roman numerals to each chord…. …but, what’s the deal with that.’ Great tutorials & always a funny quote!
