Hello sir, I am a blues guitarist trying to get a grasp on jazz. Your video on Afro blue was very helpful. Would really love to see you break down Cleveland blues by sonny stitt, could never figure that one out! Thanks for your videos
Tony, thank you, that's a great exercice ! How do you construct the bass+drums track ? IrealPro or Real Band or Band in a Box or something else ? In particular, how you switch to walking bass ? Thanks in advance. Carlo
Hi.... My ear keeps hearing the walk up to the 2 bar of F... now I have to figure out how that works! maybe from m2 mb3 m3 to the 4? sounds ok but does not seem quite right.... I guess it was more like 2dim to b3 dim or b3 2nd inv. work before 2nd inv. of the 1
No tritones were harmed in the making of this video, though a few were substituted.
Sir you're a blessing to the jazz loving people.

I'm getting the hang of this Jazz. I found initially comping the same chords with both hands really helps to lock it down.
Really great tutorial, thank you
Amazing!
Tony is a true legend
As usual, one of the most great MAESTROS !!! Thanks a lot, best regards from Argentina

Gooood,,,Many thanks, Tony 😅😮😅
Thanks Tony.
Try with 'Route 66' by Bobby Troup.
Fits like a glove!
Great suggestion!
Hi David, How would you go about doing this? Do you mean taking the chord voicing?
@@take8316 Yes.
Try playing the chord voicings with a1) 'four on the floor' rhythm or 2.) a stop rhythm against the tune.
Thank you very much Tony. Great lesson for me ❤🙏
J utilise la main gauche comme vous 3 7 9 sur C7 et 7 3 13 sur F7. Sophie
Thank you so much
