Great video. My control board had an LED that was blinking and next to it was a menu for what the fault was; one blink every 3 seconds was an airflow switch (sail switch) 2 blinks was a flame sensor fault, 3 was an ignition lockout fault and solid on the board is bad.
Thanks for the video, could not find that little bugger. But, you may want to edit the video. When I went to remove the cover outside that says hot, it was sealed pretty tight with the other piece, as I pried it, the exhaust pipe has an Extension on it that come out. You don’t need to bend the flanges and pound them back down
I did not notice a red light. Mine was running like it wanted to kick on, but the gas never ignited. The sail switch tells the heater the fan is running and allows the gas to flow. Let me know if I helped. I just couldn't find anything showing how to access these type heaters. So I hope this helped out in some way.
Thanks. Will show repairs as they come about. I just couldn't find any video's explaining enough about the unit to really understand what to do. Hope this helped you.
This helped a lot, as I’m going to buy a camper with this issue for a good price. Hoping to be able to fix it on the road before returning home
Good luck. You will be an RV engineer before too long.
Good video. Saved me lots of money and time!!
Glad it helped

Thanks! I had no idea. Will do that if I have to take it out again.
Do you know how to fix a Robert Shaw Unitrol propane water heater, by chance?
Sorry. I do not.
Did you have a red light flashing before fixing?

thanks for the info, how long did the whole process take?
I'm trying to do the same thing to my camper heater but I can not get the exhaust out to fold the flaps down. How did you get the exhaust pipe out???
Mine unscrewed. and slid right out.
@@kjoemahan my exhaust pipe was two piece and separated when I removed the stuff outside.
Is it a must to bend the outside bracket to get heater out
I couldn't find any other way to get it out. Maybe you have a way to access the unit and take off the sheet metal.
What is the part number on Amazon?
It's in the video. I think I hold up the box.
@@kjoemahan thank you, I saw that after I sent that question.
Keep it up!! Do not miss out > P r o m o s m.
