  • Want to move to Forest Virginia...Just outside Lynchburg Virginia? This video will show you a great subdivision. It's the Great Oaks Subdivision. Within the last six months, the average list price was $450,000 and the average size of the houses listed or sold was 2,300 square feet. There are three homes FOR SALE now...two that are PENDING...and two that SOLD.
There is a bunch of new construction going on in this development. And while you have the peace of quiet of country living...you're also quite close to the places you want to go. You're between 15 and 30 minutes from the mall, the airport, Downtown Lynchburg, Liberty University, the University of Lynchburg, Randolph College, and Lynchburg General Hospital.
It won't take you long to jump on 221 or 460 to head towards the town of Bedford, Roanoke (45 minutes), Smith Mountain Lake (45 minutes), or Charlottesville (1 hr 30 minutes).
If you're considering a move to Lynchburg Virginia, the Forest area is always a desireable location.
🏡 If you're even thinking about...dreaming about...or contemplating...a possible move to the Lynchburg VA area...give us a call (or text or email). We serve a pretty wide area, from Wintergreen to Danville, and from Roanoke to Farmville. And, if it's out of our area, we can connect you to a REALTOR who will be happy to help you. 🏠 You may have heard it in a video, but we really do love connecting with people and helping where we can.♥️ Feel free to use the email or phone number to connect...or jump on the JDMiller.VIP website to schedule a call.
CALL - TEXT - or EMAIL. Whatever is easiest for you.

Forest (and Lynchburg in general) is a somewhat of a hidden gem. Feels rural but has urban amenities. Friendly people.
It is a great place to live!

I live in this subdivision in a culdisac and love it. I am one of the original homeowners. The neighbors are great and it’s very quiet.
As far as the first home shown in section 3 the large unfinished brick white house across the street is in bankruptcy. The builder went bankrupt during construction. This house has been just sitting for almost a year. I wish a builder would buy and finish this house. This is a great area but this one house that just sits and bothers everyone in the subdivision. Don’t let this stop you from buying in this subdivision but maybe you can get a better deal due to the house across the street.

I love the subdivision. I did not know about that house! I’ll look into it. Maybe we can find someone to finish it! Thanks for the info. 😉
