with the 2 inch lift you have to add the subframe spacers. It lowers the rear subframe of the car to keep the original alignment specifications and optimizes the vehicle's handling. In addition they help to maintain the original positioning of the rear wheels. Which is very useful to prevent rubbing when using larger diameter tires.
I am pretty sure I am going to this shop sir….! Did u buy the kit and bring it to this shop sir?? I am trying to get prinsu rack first before 2inch lift sir 🤤
if I were him I'd want to increase the tire size for sure, he should have waited until he worn out his tires before doing this so he got his use out of his original tires. I mean he can keep driving the thing as is right now but...looks a lil stupid without some bigger tires in my opinion.
@@komadventure3633 I don’t know how much it was, but you can contact Richard at RS Automotive for a quote. For the lift kit price you can check out the link in the description.
@@onthelevelautodetail interesting, Subaru of America wrote a letter to dealerships explaining that lifts are not endorsed due to problems with eye sight features such as emergency braking not working properly after a lift. Therefore, it voids the warranty. I wanted to lift mine with the lp adventure lift and also shops around my area will install it but dealerships not been able to support the vehicle is a factor. I have heard auto glass installers will reset the eye sight but I do not know to what end.
No problem on the Eye Sight and Subaru wont void your warranty its only a spacers and nothing to do with other original parts. No such thing to calibrate the E.S only thing you need is wheel allignment after lift😊
Looks awesome! What product do you use on your trim? That stuff looks fantastic.
What does the front an rear axles look like with the car on the ground? Id like to see the stock vs lifted angles
How much did it cost for them to lift it?
How much did you pay for the lift labor?
How many hours of labor would get charged for this sort of job?
Did you guys replace the rubber hanger for the exhaust? Or still using stock rubber hangers?
It’s still using the stock hangers
Beautiful
Thanks for the vid, but why did you remove the lower rear control arms? Seems like a step you could avoid?
I provided the shop with instructions from LP

My Freinds Shop did the installation, i don't know how much they charged. You can contact them to get a quote
How’s the ride after the install? Any loss in mpg? Any room for upgrading the tire size or not needed?

The install was around $650, I’m sure that price went up. But shop around.
The music made me watch the video. Ugh.
Why?
Music isn’t needed

How did you reset the Eye Sight for the higher clearance?
According to LP Lift Kits, no adjustment calibration is needed.
