- We had the absolute pleasure of visiting the Anderson Design & Fabrication headquarters to do a walk-around and shoot some photos of the world's biggest 2022 Subaru Outback Wilderness Edition. It's 4 inches lifted over stock Wilderness height and 5 inches taller than a stock non Wilderness Edition.

Subaru needs bigger wheel wells, factory front and rear locking diff. I hope Subaru embraces the overland/ off road life.
Locking diffs would be sick! I use a Torq Locker in my Subaru and it works really well. If they did bigger wheel wells, people would burn up the transmissions. I'd love to see a dual range again but with an actually usable reduction gear. THAT would be the real game changer.
101% Beautiful..I would love my Outback Wilderness just like this Beast! 👌👍👍
I'm hoping they release a similar kit to the public!!
I’m gonna wait for that for sure! Hope this guys shipped to Canada as well.
@@semperfidelis8011 hey man! I saw your email through the website. They do ship to Canada! I don't know if Pat plans to release these for purchase to the public. But if you want to contact them directly, you can find them online at awdadventure.com They're really good people over there!
Thanks for the info bud..I will email them
@@semperfidelis8011 absolutely! Appreciate the love and having you on the channel🤙 Would love to see how you build your Outback!
Sickest Subaru build right now!!
Awesome job!
Quick question on the wind fairing. Will this mount on a 24 outback touring xt with stock roof rack/ bars? Thanks in advance
Hey there! I don't know for sure. I believe it's specifically designed to work with this rack. But I would email or call ADF. They're always super helpful. They should be able to tell if it'll work for your application.
R u guys going to make a lift kit like the one u have on the wilderness for people to Purchase?? That would be awesome
Not sure if they will or not. Would love to see them do that! It requires a LOT of extra work. Front and rear subframe, carrier bearing, etc. Would likely be a pretty penny but would be so rad!
This is sick, is there a Forester development in the future?
Not sure! Would be cool to see a huge FWE! Rumor has it that there will be a new Forester Wilderness build feature on liftedimports.com at some point later today>:) Not quite five inch lift, but it's gonna be sick!
Would the wind fair work in a yakima lock n load platform?
You know, I'm not actually sure. I'd reach out to ADF directly and see if they have any experience with that product line.
@@LiftedImports7 thank you so much! Ill wait for the answer!
@@nachodelaparra6829 absolutely! They're great guys over there and have always been helpful to me for the last decade.
I love that-- but it wouldn't be legal here in VA.. they get you and ticket you immediatley if more than 2 inches over stock-- on cars..and I think trucks are allowed a LITTLE more..
That's crazy 😯 can you get exemptions for health reasons? (Back problems etc)
@@LiftedImports7WISH I COULD_- I got mashed between 2 trucks in 99 and i have back issues 24/7....among others.
@@davidwayne9982 Hate to hear that:( I have multiple fractures in my spine so I completely understand how it feels. Having something higher off the ground makes entry/exit much easier on my back.
@@LiftedImports7 Do you have a best recommendation of lift for these? (so the orther parts are still CORRECTly oriented and not crooked ..??
@@davidwayne9982 on my cars, I only use either Anderson Design or Primitive racing parts for lifts.
This ADF lift is two inches and is pretty tough. It's got all the parts to keep everything aligned correctly and it's what I would recommend to a friend or family member:

How many miles do you get out of those CV’s? 10? 20? 😂
Did you even watch the fucking video? 🤣It was built by Patrick Anderson and he did custom subframe spacers on the car. Dude knows his shit. I stg people just post bullshit without watching 😆
@@jamalcruz7328 it was a joke. Chill the f out pal.
This kit has been on for over a year with no axle replacements. Proper mods have been done to correct all suspension and drivetrain angles. If you actually watch the video, Patrick shows the front subframe spacers, transmission mount, carrier bearing spacer, and rear multi link spacers he created.
@@sdericmonty Don't quit your day job lolol😆
@@LiftedImports7 yup, looks awesome. Sorry everyone got offended.
Those custom built cost a lot you better just get 4runner sr5.
To each their own.
4Runners eat gas like a mf and in most situations, a Subaru will get you where you need to go just as well. If you want a rock crawler, sure. Build a 2nd gen runner and sas it. Otherwise, I'm good on owning a full size SUV lol.
@@bl5334 4runner is a mid-sized suv
@@EchoAccord Jesus christ, I meant in comparison to a Subaru. It's a full body on frame SUV compared to a unibody Subaru. Pretty full ass sized.
@@bl5334 I'll bet you this thing eats gas just like a 4Runner
