I feel like the reason Will Ferrell's performance in this show is never mentioned is because It's one of the few times he plays a character that is overtly unique and interesting.
Will Ferrel is the voice of Bob... I never even made that connection. His mannerisms when speaking sound completely different to anything else he's done. Also one interesting thing about the show that I don't think people notice is that the show always has a consistent scene layout, unlike something like Family Guy. Other animated shows will put in lots of negative space because the camera doesn't pan or have characters breaking perspective and thus being askew in the frame compared to the background paintings, but Oblongs always kept a center focus perspective correct layout. This really shows with Pickles skydiving scene where she's rescuing Beth or when anybody's talking to Anita at the bar.

Baby Blues is based off a comic strip of the same name. It's still going as of now. The couple in the series now have three kids, a boy and another girl.
You should try watching and reviewing some of the old adult swim pilots that never got picked up, Personally I was actually fond of “Bad Guys” cause I enjoy dry humor and taking making the absurd realistic, but I do know there’s (what I have seen) - Saddle Rash - The Lewis Lectures - Groovenians (this is a no from me tbh) And than - Welcome to Eltingville - Cheyenne Cinnamon - Freaknik - Korgoth of Barbaria I’ve been watching tons of pilots lately and adult swim’s seems to be the most consistently slept upon

I think I caught a glimpse of this show as a kid but I'm not sure. And I agree that reboots are a dime a dozen these days.

I can only hope that if a revival of the Oblongs comes out, Angus will have more input on what's going on.

The WB and UPN were too good for this world.
I remember that for the longest time growing up, I thought I caught a glimpse of this show on Nickelodeon for some reason.

But why didn't Adult Swim order another season?
My guess is they couldn't afford it. Adult Swim didn't have a large budget for original shows at that time.
