    Very informative, but i cannot agree that smart contracts are immutable. If you wish to make any tweaks, consider upgradable smart contract. It allows you to alter the existing smart contracts using proxy patterns. After deployment, this proxy contract becomes a point of reference for all transactions instead of the old logic contract. You can use this concept if you wish to plug in new functionalities or bug fixes as a part of new logic.

    • @learnwithwhiteboard
      @learnwithwhiteboard  3 года назад +21

      Hi Dan, I can understand what dilemma you're going through right now. I'll answer your question based on my experience, I have seen people getting a blockchain job (through self study) in about 8 months (region: Ukraine) and also people doing a diploma, an internship and a certification for blockchain (collectively took 16 months) to get a real blockchain job. I would say that it all depends on what your learning speed is. I would recommend you to gradually progress with the steps shown in this video (and side by side keep you 9 to 5 job) and when its right, start off with an internship, and after that, hunt a good blockchain role in a company/startup.

    Any comment on if this uber Hype of the huge demand of blockchain developers far exceeding the avalaible developers is.. well.. just hype? I wonder if really So many companies and businesses adopt this specialised narrow funtion expensive technology. 🤔
    I wonder, as.. like every new technology or framework or tool, RUclipsrs and social media and blogs tend to overhype the new shiny thing although in the real world, barely anyone adopted it (yet/if at all). Thanks

    Hi, I have done my graduation in b. Sc IT but I'm working in banking sector I'm keen to learn blockchain technology and make career in it is it feasible right now I'm 31 now and also I have lost touch with programming languages pls reply

    • @learnwithwhiteboard
      @learnwithwhiteboard  3 года назад +3

      Hi Nikhil, its good that you are having a banking background because blockchain technology is being widely accepted in your sector. Also, it will help you grasp the solution design and better understand the individual use case. You should forget about the age as I have seen people making career transitions at the age of 50 too, and I personally believe that you can achieve anything if you just train yourself enough. My friend, if you have lost your touch to programming, I would recommend you to go through this video (ruclips.net/video/SP9UGROYE5E/видео.html) first, understand blockchain prerequisites and then kickstart your new journey.
      Hope this was helpful! All the best buddy! 👍

    • @learnwithwhiteboard

      I would highly recommend you to have a crash course or something similar of that sort in Node & JS to gain that crispness of these languages. Further, once you start off your blockchain journey, you'll be introduced to various industry use cases, applications, and challenges. This, in all, will help you develop a problem solving mindset and give you a boost in your project management skills. I hope you find my advice helpful! Good luck for your future :)

    • @learnwithwhiteboard

      Hi Somesh, having CS or IT background is surely a plus when you want to switch to blockchain, but not necessary. As if you come from a non-technical background, all you need is some extra hard work to get comfortable with technical knowledge. I have created a video on blockchain prerequisites that might help you understand what's needed before kickstarting you journey, here's the link for the same: ruclips.net/video/SP9UGROYE5E/видео.html

    Why we need CMD to be able to turn blockchain developer?

    • @learnwithwhiteboard
      @learnwithwhiteboard  2 года назад

      By using/learning CMD or Command Line Interface, a user gets a hands-on experience on how one can work on a computer without much relying on a mouse pointers. As a casual computer user, it might not mean much, but as programming, its a skill that's a must have. Lastly, learning the Command Prompt also provides a gradual transition to Unix and Linux systems (for an average Windows user), which are prevalent in science, engineering, and in tech industry. Hope this helps!

    • @learnwithwhiteboard
      @learnwithwhiteboard  2 года назад

      Hi Sumanth, you can use Python to code a blockchain without having to write a lot of code. To illustrate, Python allows to create a simple blockchain in less than 50 lines of code. But, it's all about subjected environment, as there are stages where having knowledge of MEAN stack, solidity, etc also plays a vital role.

      Hi, to help you with your query, it is similar to the normal website function. The user who uses the blockchain will get access through the client-side server and tNode.js and Express.js will run the codebase for operation. If the user needs to access protected information, then the MongoDB database will need the private key and digital signature to access the information. After confirmation, the information of that particular block will be accessed by the user through the Node.js to React.js.

      YES! Anyone can build a career in technical field like blockchain if they gain professional expertise good enough to perform the job rightly. Big MNCs, companies and startups are looking for passion in people they hire, educational qualification (though necessary at times) are in many places treated as secondary. So, if you aim at becoming a blockchain developer and are passionate enough about it, don't hold back and give it your all! I hope this helped!
