I just bought mine last year but basically same as yours man! Bought it with 392,000 miles from the original owner with a stack of receipts! But rust free! I love it! Your build is way farther than mine but goals man truck looks great!

I bought my 2000 Ex in 2001. I still have it. It becomes a lawn ornament when fuel prices spike but goes on the road as needed. At least 50% of it's 215,000 kms has been on British Columbia forestry roads. It eats ball joints and shocks and shreds sidewalls for fun. Compared to my Suzuki XL7 daily driver, it's 3 times the truck at twice the fuel consumption. But it still hurts to fuel it up...gas or diesel.

We bought our ‘02 Excursion w/ 104,000 miles on it in ‘06. We’ve put 160,000 on it since then. We had to replace injector cups, so we upsized the injectors, replaced glow plugs, straight piped it, and put on a bigger turbo at the same time. With the extra power, we blew the transmission, so that’s been replaced as well. The 7.3 is awesome, but doesn’t make near the power our bulletproofed 6.0 F350 makes.

I got mines last year for $3500 but had to pay $800 for exaust work.been great since but I'm keeping it in case my girl tell me to go kick rocks.......I'm a professional rock kicker my friend.

so far i got lucky with my 2000 Excursion XL, i bought it cheap with 166,000 miles on it, original i must say, and ive been doing little upgrades but still have a bit to go to do a version like yours, these are beasts man and i definately want to take it out and romp and expose my kids the saem way, great job...
