Is the GF camper interchangeable between the 2nd and 3rd gen short bed Tacomas?

Nice vid. I have the 96 and it already came with lift, tires, roof rack and snorkel so the first thing I did was strip and coat the underneath and full set of bash plates. Next will be attach the bull bar and winch and I'm all good to go. As a bespoke joiner and ex sailor I have kitted out the inside for maximum use of storage. It's always good to see what other people's priorities are.

I bought my 2000 Ex in 2001. I still have it. It becomes a lawn ornament when fuel prices spike but goes on the road as needed. At least 50% of it's 215,000 kms has been on British Columbia forestry roads. It eats ball joints and shocks and shreds sidewalls for fun. Compared to my Suzuki XL7 daily driver, it's 3 times the truck at twice the fuel consumption. But it still hurts to fuel it up...gas or diesel.

Awesome build! I have a '98 SR5 manual, and I'm looking at adding a front bumper, really liking the Addicted Offroad version like you have. I'm wondering - when you added your bumper, could you tell a difference in the performance, given you also have a 5-speed, did it change your shifting, etc., whether on pavement or off-roading?
