Tip for painting, when painting parts for a car paint them in the position that they will sit on the car, as when the paint hits the part it'll the pigments and additives will line up with the rest of the car, which is why the skirts colour might be off and the nose piece doesn't, if that makes sense, painting the nose cone face up is good because that's how it's sits on the the car, paint the skirts standing up rather than laying down that way the metallics and pearls will catch the light properly compared to the adjacent panels and the colour will match better
I agree on the body filler panel for the side skirts. A helps balance out that body align on the door compared to the body lying on the side skirts now. Still looks dope as folk but I'm with you my friend the door filler panel for the side skirts would be prime

hey dude the match is on it's a color shift paint. look at different angles on the hood the paint lightens up. If the skirts are the same paint as the front nose piece then its just the light angles. looks dooope !

Just do a transient foil with a tint over the sideskirts to color match and protect it

If you cut and polish then buff the entire car in a month or so when that paint is fully cured, the colour difference will become much less noticeable

Do you have led bulbs for the fog lights ? You should do led lights all around with those clear turning light on the bad itll look mean, been a fan since the red 240, you made me proud !

Nose piece was layered with paint but I don't think he got the side skirts with enough
its twinz their parts fit perfectly. I have the nose panel and the front bumper and the front bumper fits as good as the oem

KoNLaR no he needs to add more paint... the front bumper and nose panel were painted after the fact, and they’re pretty much dead on... if anything he should buff and polish the car and do a proper paint correction. No need to repaint it when the cars already got great paint

Riley Boyett nah... way too much work and when something happens to it(it’s only fiberglass... it cracks) it’s a nightmare to replace
Matt L it’s not that bad, I’ve done it to my car, use panel bond and you don’t really have to worry about it to much
Riley Boyett I have too... I cracked a fender, and had to tear the entire thing off, sand down the area where it was molded, remold, do bodywork, then paint the whole rear quarter... it’s WAY easier to just pull the broken one off, paint a new one and slap it on. If you paintmatch the rivets, you can’t even tell they’re there unless you’re literally two feet away
