As a people, we are accepting of non-blacks buying land in Africa.

Deal with people who are native Gambians and who dress decently and is highly educated and has a decent government job. You need to understand that when you decide to move to another country regardless of whether you are coloured or white, you have to respect the customs and culture of that country. That includes dressing modestly and following certain protocols. This in my opinion helps you integrate better in your new environment and makes it easier to be accepted by the locals. Also, take note that the Gambia is a very peaceful country that welcomes foreigners from different countries. Unfortunately, some of these foreigners come with their ways. We as Gambians are struggling with the reality that our country is no longer as safe as it used to be. However, I can assure you that you will be safer here than a lot of places, including the United States. We went to visit her resting place. It’s very sad. The killer was someone she trusted and had been working with for a king time.

I guess that's why everyone in the US and the UK, etc, are getting the Ring doorbell and other security cameras alike.
In the UK, we are losing our young people on a daily basis. 😢
I even watched a young man get murdered on my ring doorbell.
We are having to teach them how to stay alive.
Please let us not pretend that it's all sunshine and roses in the west.
A Gambian woman and her children sadly were lost here in the UK.
Why was that not all over the internet.
We grew up hearing how bad Africa was, poor and starving, and we are still selling that story.
The US and Uk have good and bad parts, I know because I have lived right in the middle of it, from NYC, Kingston Jamaica, to Brixton and Croydon.
I have lost family and friends to crime. 😢
The Gambia is not the only place, for goodness sake.
