Prototype Energized Adaptive Nano Membrane I - name changed to Compact multispectrum energized membrane ..... just incase anyone didnt know cause i sure didnt. I spent like a hour trying to find that equipement. Hope this helped someone >.

Great video, exactly what I was looking for after just coming back after being away for 6 years. Game feels so new I wanted to start a new char and relearn the game. Side note, your voice audio is rather low, even when turned to max volume I can only hear you in an absolutely quiet environment.

might want to mention the Blastagrip Tessera spaws. they absolutely eat this fit. Second time I've followed one of your guides and lost the ship first time out. :(

and there is a small little trick that 50% of the final DPS is coming from manually tracking the orbiting target, as well as other mechanical skills. Which new players probably either have no idea about or totally hopeless to do it properly on your first day as it need at least a little bit of practice. @Aceface, if you don`t have a video on those, I think that would be absolutely helpful for beginners like me. Thanks!
I find "Damage Control II" much better solution then "Compact multispectrum energized membrane" but neither is helping because some spawned opponents are too powerful.

I tried with all T2 upgrades in low slots. Also, I use a powergrid rig instead of repair rig to fit this. Runs pretty well and is very fun to play :)

You can most likely farm lvl3 abyssals with 1 mil SP, using gilas (if you have money for that).
When we tried to play on Serenity (where you do not have any 1mil packages), we cooperated and did lvl 1 darks duo on kestrels - also at the day 1.
Try dragging the Rogue Drone npcs near the Deviant Automata Suppressor and they will take damage since they are also drones in the eye of the game

Um i just followed by and fitted everything you said but my ship has a 80.4 power grid not 83.8 so i cant fit the afterburner halp?
I have slightly different take on that Punisher fit: I fit an AB, a web in mids, a 400mm plate, damage control, resist plate, repper and mag stab in lows and 4 neutron blasters in highs. Also in rig slots a semi conductor mem cell, an auxiliary nano pump, and explosive resist. Orbit at 500, web and hit with null or caldari antimatter for non BS and void for BS. Works like a charm. I mostly do firestorm filaments though.
Just used this, it worked. I used the other one also the T0 corax or whatever it was called. I beat both of em pretty easy, I can see where this one could cause issues for people who have no EXP in any fighting space game period but i never really lost any armor with the repairs.

How do you deal with Tyrannos at the edge of the map? I can't keep a minimum range because I'll go out of bounds?

maybe u used T2s? try checking the rigs and refit again

Hey mr Aceface - thanks for this great tutorial- the bar is quite high for a day 1 account to get 14m without flashing the credit card - or having a friend invest isk. Considering that eve is enjoyable as solo and with friends. What was the motivation in choosing the Punisher - and not an equivalent from Gallente (Tristan) or Rifter (Mimatar)? But what was to an eye-opener is the dual armour repairer fitted in the low slots and how long the Cap lasted and recovered. I was wondering how in PYFA or how in the eve fitting window this can be discovered
Sorry - what I meant to add is that perhaps 2 friends can invest 7m into a day 1 alpha for the 3rd to enjoy. But 14m ISK for a solo is really hard on day 1 without credit card.

If you do all the career missions and some L1 missions or combat anomalies you should have 14m by day 2 at the latest. Just the explorer and military missions with some exploration should net you 15m quite fast too.
15m is actually very little money and is very easy to get within a day.
Hey! Sorry didnt see your comment. Yeah true, but shouldnt take long in a cheap exploration frigate to get the isk. I have tried the rifter and it ddidnt go so well but I think the tristan is quite promising, havent tested it yet though.
PSA: Those tessera bc drones are kinda annoying when that tracking assist pulse modifier kicks in. Then they start to track crazily and with even smallest mistake they can easily insta pop you even if you are already orbiting them. I can see new players dying to them easily
o/ I did twice in my first two attempts. I'm thinking you might wanna orbit them at 10km+? I read they have really short range

@@Idlepit2 Right, I attempted orbiting at 16km range before seeing this. It wasn't hitting me at all for 2 minutes. But just before it died, it did like 998 damage and oneshot me. :s

I had 3 fat spawns of battleships ofc this dps was not enough and I lost.
Aceface, just so you know, you can right click your ship in space go to -> Pilot -> Form Fleet With… much faster than scrolling through Local especially if populated.
O7 ace this video is 2 years old .. is it still viable ?
The part that confuses me is when to orbit or when to keep at range. Most advice says you want to orbit or have the lateral movement to avoid the enemy tracking. But it looks like in this video, you keep at range and despite not orbiting you avoid their damage pretty well.
Is this because you're able to keep in a certain range or something? Not sure how that's working out. But it seems on my attempts, I randomly get at a range where I can't pull off enough damage then suddenly get blasted hard.
A lot of the npcs in the abyss have limited range so theyre easy to kite. For example sleeper cruisers if you keep at a certain range its hard for them to hit.
The light beam lasers have quite bad tracking compard to typical small weapons. Keeping at range allows you to apply much better dps. Thats maybe what your issue was when not being able to do damage.
@@Aceyface thank you for the reply! Are there any resources online that list the ranges for the abyssals? Trying to learn piloting smaller ships. Mainly have to learn how to approach everything and measure ab VS mwd lol
UPDATE: This fit still works, but is harder with new spawns. Would recommend training more skills, especially DPS and capacitor related skills to make the process smoother.
I made this build as a caldari player and it only has 67 DPS for me. It is only viable for alpha clone players?

@@alonsotheg4977 I don't understand what you mean. There are alpha clones (free to play) and omega clones (pay for more skills & available ships, etc.). You are caldari, which is merely a race / faction. The only impact your race (caldari) has is the type of ships available to you early game. So long as you have the required skills to use his fit, and so long as you correctly followed his fit, you should have the same stats.
can u pin this UPDATE, cuz new player gonna loose ships with the new spawns
when i try to open a filament, i have to select it for a cruiser, 2 destryers or 3 frigates. Which one do i pick?
3 frigates. You can bring two friends, 1 friend or just go in by youreslf :)
3 frigates since your likely in a frigate. Youll need 3 actual filaments and be in a fleet with at least yourself to activate and go in

I dont know if they changed something, but i have 75 mil skill points and used t2 almost everything ---> got killed so easy in that Calm Electrical Fragment Abys. I dont think that fit works these days in that Abys he entered. Seems imposible.

I've lost like 70m isk doing this I'm so bad. Idk what i did wrong. The attack marshall disparu troop is basically a death sentence

hello. i tried to get that fit but i can't seem to find Prototype Energized Adaptive Nano Membrane I. haven't been in jita yet but even when i simulate the fit that doesn't show up. Am I doing anything wrong?
CCP have changed and renamed some modules recently. I think you want a "Compact Multispectrum Energized Membrane" now.
@@spriteSC2 i found that but it wont fit due to being to much CPU
@@Rippin-Rich Try not Energized version. There is almost no difference in resistances, but it fits way better.

@@ohyeahyeahimasian392 from 6 to 8 hours, it depends. That was for tranquils. Now i have moved to calm fillaments, 60-100 million isk probably, due to real job i cant spend alot time so i think 3-6 hours per day now. Because calm gives you much more loot and plus with a frigate then its mean 3x the loot, of course also the risk. So yeah its still worth for now and would stick to it until bored😂 i also spent all of that isk experimenting ships fitting and best modules for each weather types for climb to another tier. And collecting bpcs for me because im looking forward in industry.👍
To anyone trying this, the "Blastgrip Tessera" will practically one shot you if you get too close running this fit. I've lost two ships in two filament tries against it.
yup! Just keep at range over 15km and you should be good :)
@@Aceyface 3rd ship lost. Was orbiting at 16km with MWD active. And the Blastgrip Tessera just one shot me dealing 998 damage right before dying after having missed for the past 2-2.5 minutes

Cool video. The question is...14mil for day 1 pilot? hmmm...sounds pretty hard to get the isk on day 1.
Just do the career missions you get about 10mil isk and a few ships so just sell everything after you've done them that should get you 14mil or at least get you very near or do some relic/data sites or even mining in one of the free ventures with high sec ores you can get over 1 mil isk per load in a venture
So iv been running all this the last few days and i finally found the spawn i thought would break it. The Devoted Knight honestly i couldn't get within 25km of him so i was stuck with radio as ammo i had to chip away at him 18 mins later i died doing a suicide run to try knock the last of his armor off with multi.
same, the devoted knight and one other spawn just reks me, lost like 4 ships or about 60mil, very sad

So I built this ship for but when I tried to go in the abyss it wouldn’t let me go in solo without using a cruiser I bought a calm electrical fiilement to am I doing something wrong? Great video.
you need to be in a fleet and have 3 Filaments.

is it common to get instapopped by the first enemy?
This can happen if you dont gain speed fast enough or if the drifter battleship lands a wrecking shot
Does anyone have tips on facing the destroyer? I seem to die to it if I’m either close to it or at a medium range. Newbie here.
Which destroyer, Kikimora Im guessing? I made this vid before the destroyer wave, maybe pack an ammo type that goes over 25-30km if thats possible because they cant shoot outside of that. But its hard, will have to make tweaks to the fit before updating properly to the new spawns

Guys, When i should use Ultraviolet?
Use Multifreq, ultraviolet and radio depending on your range. Radio has longest range but least dps. Ultraviolet has medium range and dps. Multifreq has most dps but short range. Sometimes youll notice if you get too close you take too much damage so you need to keep at appropriate range. This range you feel comfortable in is where you pick the ammo type most suitable for your range.

This is not day 1 skills also this build does not work you cannot run all 4 turrets and the microwardrive its too much on the cpu

It's probably possible to do this on some gallante ship and fit, he's talked about making videos for other races in the future. There are some newer videos where he's testing Kestral fits for Caldari. But nothing that's classified as a finished guide like this one
sorry missed your comment - ya your are completely right havent made a proper guide like this. I havent had enough testing done yet to make a reliable fit, but in due time I do definitely plan to make a guide for all races! It just takes a long time with all the testing, hope you understand

Please be advised that the T1 abyss seems have been updated recently, and I do need a new tutorial for a similar level to clam my losses of 60mil on my account.
By the way, I am new to the game and I had mined about 2 weeks to save up to 80 mil.

Aceface cannot remember the exact name, but one of the enemy which can go Really fast and can deal huge damage with 10km is the one I am have problem with, especially when mixed with triglavian trios.

Most of my encounters were with the Blastgrip Tessera, and they have appeared with many different mobs. Only once that I faced it alone.

I feel you. Lost 3 of these on Tranquility already. Some of them in the first room. Couldn't finish once. Tried the same fitting in Singularity, managed to finish them rather easily a bunch of times. Seems like Singularity outdated version is a lot more forgiving on solo frgates.
Does this still work in 2021? i used this fit and tried and was destroyed in a few seconds. not sure what i did wrong or if this doesnt work any longer. The riots were going on at the time so serious lag was happening.

tech 2 weapons don't work in T1 electrical cause not enough capacitator

That'll be great help caz many many newbie dying following this Fit. Also do tell us how to encounter which Abyss Opponent & from what exact range using that updated fit. It'll be better if you show us practically killing some hard opponents in there as well. Ty.

This fit is not working and it wasted my money
Great video, but there is absolutely no way this works. I took a cruiser into T1 electrical with twice the stats of that thing and it got dunked on with zero resistance
ur voice volume is very low
Your voice is not heard very well
You should link a training plan of needed skill for the fit, and skills needed to improve fit, that all can be done with the 1mil SP. And link the fit...lol

Devoted Knight rekt me, would not recommend this build to new players.
The problem with ALL of your videos is you ALWAYS have skills far beyond those of what you're representing.
That fit would NOT happen on day one, unless you inject skills with your link, which doesn't help anyone who already created an account.

As a noob, I dumped all of my money and skill points into this build and I wouldn't recommend. Either this is outdated or not meant for new people.
1) The skill points he shows you cannot get with 1 million. I tried and maybe got ~75%
2) The build assumes you have a lot of cash. In total, I spent about 15 million on all of the parts. I lost two ships and that was everything I had.
3) As a new person, even after following the strategy outlined I got wrecked by tanky tanks (ran out of time) or drones.
This guy is great for general information but this build cost everything I had. Again, would NOT recommend for new people.
I believe the abyss spawns have changed in the past 2 years.
