You are my new fucking hero. God a clear tutorial for newbie. Thanks for sharing mate i will look all of your guides for shure. Again thanks a lot for your work and time.
@@BonkersY2K Well really man all guides out there are super boring and complex to see, not yours!!! You are clear very pleasent to listen and i like your charisma. Very happy to have found your channel i hope you will have the wiews then you deserve. 🙏🏻
I really appreciate that alot. im trying my best its just hard to do not as many skills as some of those bigger channels so i make up for it with excessive amounts of LED's lol. But seriously I really do appreciate the comment its nice to hear that someone is enjoying the videos i make.
Luved your post , subed cuz YOU are the Mentor for Alpha . From now on first thing I do when coming to RUclips is checking your channel .Thank you for helping Alphas !
Agree good posts and very helpful to the point where I stat spending money lol. I think the navy and fraction stuff would help massively for small ships. Skills is another important aspect as I tried same fitting and got killed a few time. Lost all my savings and ships ha ha ha. Probably is time for me to quite lol
@@BonkersY2K Same problem like Salivo , and system wont let me lvl skills no more so I shall buy them alpha injectors. Very expensive , maybe I gotta quite .....cuz I aint ever gonna pay real money for a game like this :D
Good job with explaining this in a way newbies can understand, but there is one thing to improve on this If you have repaid for ur ship, buy some scanning implants to boost scan strength and reduce scan deviation. As Alphas have limited skills, they will need all the help they will need. Other than scanning implants, Alphas can use armor, shield or navigation implants to help with the tanking. The implants for scanning aren't exactly bank-breaking, total less than 1 million for the deviation and strength implants
my parents dont let me spend money on quote 'fake games' even though im a teenager, and this is great for buying plex ingame and getting omega subscription. Thanks so much!
Tbh dude, I've watched your other video, and have never done escalations, even though I'm a veteran from 2006. I want to thank you for doing this for new players, and in my case, older ones. Awesome guide! Hopefully, I catch you stream sometime.
Hello there! Well i have to admit u answered a lot of thoughts a new player will prolly have! Another tip that u can mention in any future vids or streams is that this fit can be downgraded all to t1 and still be gr8 for DED 4/10, ( i know cause i did it few times so far) and the fit costs around 30-35 mil, thats around 7 hours venture mining! And another tip for new players is accept reqruit friend link and with 1mil SP u ll get u can skill this fit in an instant and have 200k SP leftovers for few improvements! Thank you very much! Keep the good work!
This is excellent, I can't quite use T2 Drones orT2 medium hybrids because I don't have skills trained, but regular drones and 200mm Prototype Guass Gun seems to work just as well. Thank you so much for the guide, I learned quite a bit about manual piloting, transverse velocity, scouting and the true power of the Cruiser-class ship. So far, I've knocked over one Serpentis narcotics warehouse.
great stuff and very useful and informative for an old player returned after a long time away. Like your style, good delivery and you came across well, keep up the good work!
Solid Video and will be my new go-to video / series of videos for sending newbros. However there is only one thing I disagree with in your video and that is your target priorities. IMO the best target order is to get the most DPS off the field the fastest as opposed to going big down. So that would mean that destroyers and battlecruisers have to go first. I prefer to go small up as it takes significantly less time to kill smaller ships than bigger ones especially with a weaker alpha ship. So I use Cancer Towers (webs, neuts, scrams, etc..) -> Destroyers + Turret Towers -> Battlecruisers -> Cruisers -> Frigates -> Battleships. Obviously you need to get the webs / scrams / neuts off you as fast as possible so those are priority. But I find that Destroyers are the easiest DPS to get off field as they usually die to one volley and turrets don't move and put off good DPS (don't kill them in anomalies though, only when required). Battlecruisers are slower and less tanky than cruisers and put off significantly more DPS and should be taken out next. Cruisers and Frigates are next, if you are a drone boat I recommend Frigates first as they will eat drones and let you throw out bigger drones for more DPS without having to worry about them dying. Battleships last as their aim is garbage and are beefy bois, they tend to be pretty useless in terms of DPS. Obviously exceptions apply, like if the objective is kill tower or BC, kill it (after webs tho), loot, and skedaddle. Also with a drone boat I find it easier to orbit some stationary object at a large orbit of 10-20 KM, it keeps you further away from the gate or loot, but will keep you at a safe speed and distance consistently with little brainpower required. Should be noted however that I generally don't mess with 3/4 out of 10s and run 5/10s in lowsec primarily.
Hey thank you for your post. I agree in most circumstances however the only reason I flipped this was because its an alpha build and the main issue is more ewar like jams and nuets, the newer players don't have the target reinforcement skills or cap and navigation skills to be able to survive. By getting them in the habit of clearing ewar possibilities first they will hopefully survive. I dont know if that makes sense, but just to clarify I do agree with you in normal circumstances your priority is right 👍
On my first run got around 200 mil worth of loot. It's the first time i did something else other than missions or mining. Holy shit im stoked hahaha thanks for the tutorial
@@BonkersY2K Yeah I wasn't sure how effective is this Vexor, but drones swept everything and I didnt break sweat:D now Im struggling to replicate my first run in regard of loot, but Im having fun and learning the game so it's super cool. Probably going to keep doing this for a while, keep skilling my character and see how much money i can hoard before I decide whats my next step:D cheers!!
I would highly recommend checking out the 2020 isk video and then the 2021 option, these will increase your sites and income and let you explore the different sectors of space
so how many of us who are surfing #EVEONLINE vids are getting pelted with eve online ads from youtube? BTW, @bonkersY2K, thanks so much for the information. I started playing 3 weeks ago. This game is quickly becoming my favorite game of all time... Leaning the in's and out has been a mission of its own. Your vids are very easy to follow and full of helpful information. Liked and Subscribed my dude.
This is true but I believe to use to hardness does either require a cpu implany or dropping the drone high slot which for kiting purposes can prove problematic
Thanks for the video but I am a noob and I'm confused about what sites I should go to :/ In 10:56 you say I should be looking for hideaways and refuges, in 13:24 you say I should be looking for the vigil and the scout outpost, in 13:35 you say the stuff on the screen (scout outpost, guerilla grounds, relay outpost, narcotics warehouse, collection point) I know I am probably a moron, but could someone help? I tried doing this and I usually only find refuges and hideaways which give me like 100.000 isk of loot.
So The refuges and Hideaways are the green anomolie you dont have to scan down, you should be running these while you are using your probe scanner and looking for Combat Signatures, these would be the 3/10 and 4/10s i referenced :) Hope that helps
OMG, this is just awesome. This is what I looking for, but I presume will take some training before manage to do what are you doing here. But thanks I will try.
Hey man awesome video, I had a quick question abt route planning. Is the idea to add more waypoints until you loop up back to the origin? And also is this full route meant to be completed in one run?
Hey, so all my routes finish where I start so in response to that I'd say yes, as for the other question I try to do my set in one go but this is to maximise my results
Nice vid. I kill the smaller rats first, yes the die very quick , but get their dps if off the field and the frigs and dessies are what hurt your drones 80% . also on some sites they will point /web you too. An alpha can do everything you did in this vid and the other one in a T1 destroyer (up to 3/10 Dens etc) vigils and watches any T1 combat cruiser.Drake or Praxis for 5/10 :) . . Dessies are great for low sec and null sec escalations as they are are less likely to be hunted, and easier to run away in too. Shooting the towers on hideaways does not stop the escalation btw , I always kill it all. Good to see another Brit starting to make Eve vids, keep it up.. ! xD Best/ easiest money for alphas is wh/low sec scanning and low sec belt ratting, but it is good to learn the ropes in highsec.
Great video, thank you for making an alpha version and providing so much content! I do have a question about the skill, is there a way to know what the end skills you work towards?
Thank you for the feedback i really appreciate that! The thing with Eve is that it is your game to play, if your looking to improve on the ship itself look at the support skills need under Mastery as this will help improve all elements of the ships capabilities
@@BonkersY2K Thanks for that, I was wondering if the masteries would be a place to start so you confirmed this for me :) much appreciated. I look forward for more content! All the other guides I look at are so general and broad. Yours feel like they actually work if you put the time through it. Cheers
@@yannickn1855 I am new to video making so i get nervous about how long they are but then at the same point i want to make sure it covers everything so your prepared. No point going in and getting caught unawares! But I am really REALLY glad to hear that they are helping
So do you not loot anything except the "Dread" versions of ships, if they show up? Related question, do you leave all salvage behind? And last question, if you get an escalation do you go after it immediately, or finish your route and then do them?
Hi Daniel thanks for your question, So first and second part; Yes i only loot the Dread or Faction specific NPC that has the good loot (potentially) in it. I dont loot or salvage anything else. With regards to an escalation, I will usually make it make next action once i have got one to run it immediately however I dont clear the route set and set a new destination, Instead if you show info on the system you have to travel to int he description window is a route tab that tells your the gates to take. I will follow this route and continue running and scanning anything i find along the way to maximise my chances of a further escalation. I hope that helps :)
@@BonkersY2K Thanks, that is helpful. Also, after watching 15 or 20 videos on exploration, and about the same on navigation, you are the only one to mention the stellar body trick, and the navigation from the info panel. Both very helpful, so thank you for that.
loving the guide, just letting you know that your discord link in the description is invalid, and you have to make sure that it's a permanent link with no limit to how many people can join
Don't worry about salvaging your only after the loot from the faction rat, station, structure etc, use the eve uni website I reference for guidance on this
Sure thing, Ill add them to the MOTD of my public channel when I next get a free moment, still trying to fight off this bug atm. The public channel in Eve is #The Nuthouse Thanks for your comment :)
I ran the 200mm Railguns up to Dread Gueristas faction mods bc it gets comparable (actually slightly better) range for about 4mil extra per gun (they were 5.5mil each when I bought them) and that saved me a lot of time
So the rail guns weren't required for the build i put them there to pull aggro and honestly because I didn't like having empty high and mid slots lol the additional 30 dps is hardly comparable to the drone output lol 😆

Nice vid. Can't find the true sansha armors anywhere - would it be that big of a diference with the usual armor hardeners lvl 2? as i reckon with the navy issue vexor i would be ok with the usual hardners
@@BonkersY2K aye captain! I must say that from experience and from someone that hasnt played eve for a long time, i have managed to run already a couple of anomalies with only a few drones out. Ita doable if you pay attention to your sorroundings, use the tactical view and keep moving. Its not rocket science with the vexor
Hey so I copied your fit from your description, but when trying it out I had much lower drone DPS than you do despite me having the skills to operate them. What could be the cause of this?
Not sure that was on an Alpha toon, the only thing I can think is what level do you have the actual ship trained too as the cruiser skill effects the damage by 10% per level
@@BonkersY2K ahh, yea I only have gallente cruiser level 2, will level it up, combined with some research for my drone tech will probably resolve the gap that I'm seeing. Thank you for the help. Edit: I also just realize that I hadn't researched drone interfacing.... yeah that doesn't help.
Question about the engagement order, I'm newish and also in a kitey jackdaw and only doing 4/10s. However I engage in a different order: Towers>Loot ships>Frigs>destroyers>Cruisers My reasoning is if I can take 5 frigs worth of fire off field in 1 salvo doesnt that make the battle space safer than allowing them to attack me while grinding down a cruiser or bigger?
So the towers are a good first target because of their range and huge damage, but prioritisation after that should be faction rat if its there then biggest to smallest. Mainly because the smaller stuff is doing so little damage that it is not as much of an issue you want to remove as much dps from the field as quick as you can the only time I would change that order is of your being nueted scrammed or webbed. Hope that helps
@@BonkersY2K Small stuff does smaller damage but it can hit you. If you are in a fast, small ship (like t3d or t3c) webbing frigates are hundred times more dangerous to you than battleships as the latter literally cannot hit you, unless the former webs you solid. Altho not running DED sites (yet) but when doing l4 missions my order is always towers (stasis first) then frigs then battlecruisers (high dps, good tracking, paper thin) then destroyers (same just smaller) then regular cruisers (as they can still track me) then battleship last as the whole time the only chance they get to put even grazing shots at me if I'm webbed.
@@bencom01 In missions this would make sense but in these sites the encounters dont really have much by way of aggressive ewar. you get some nuet and jamming depending on the space so in DED space sites the larger targets need to be the priority. :) hope thats helpful
Is it potentially that the ISK making is a little outdated when you talked about the mining? I think you said about 45 minutes for a week or two each day? It seems like now you might learn one or two million per hour in high sec? Sadly almost all the recommendations now I see is to do exploration like hacking or go into low sec.
The method still works unfortunately the practice to aquire your first ship has changed due to the recent ore changes but the numbers are still staying the same and in quite a few cases better than what I could produce as they had more time to do it
Hey! Nice vid! I have a few questions :) Are you looting all wrecks in all sites or only in escalations? Are the big loots only in escalation or in scanned sites also? If your escalation goes to low sec then you ignore it? Thank you!
Hey thanks for your comment, I only loot the prize wrecks, the loot is in all the combat sites, if it goes to low i ignore it. Glad your enjoyed the video 😉
Ok, I just bought my Vexor having grinded asteroids for days. Now I discover I have to save up another 70 million just to kit it out. Um, gee, let me think. I wonder what's on TV haha. I guess I got excited thinking I could have a bit more fun than asteroids, but it takes no effort so I guess I've got to be patient.
Where are you getting 2 weeks and 6 days for a skill plan? Medium Hybrid Turret 5, which is required for 200mm Railgun IIs takes 29 days to train as an alpha. Can you confirm?
Hi thanks for your reply I believe I said it takes 2 weeks and 6 days to get the required skills at base level so you can run these and also said that the guns are not really a requirement that I mainly use them for pulling agro or shooting at structures but you can replace the. With a tractor beam or something else if you'd like 👍
@@BonkersY2K oh ok I misunderstood. I didn't come away with the idea that these could be run at a base level aka without t2 guns. I understood the agro part though. Totally my fault for not putting 2 and 2 together, heh. Thanks!
I'm loving these two vids but just a heads up, not sure what your recording settings are but it seems the game is getting upscaled to fit the frame, and makes the text unreadable, would you be able to change the resolution you record it at if your PC specs allow? if not I understand, but great vids nontheless, I've made a nice bit of cash from escalations but never found a good way to farm them until now
Yeah these were my first 2 videos I made and I recorded the game and then played the Windows media files while I talked, I have since learnt not to do that and just record live lol
Just made 250 mil from a scout outpost :). A couple questions, is this ship able to run only scout outpost escalations or any 3/10 or 4/10? Also for the combat sites is the ship able to run things like phi, watch, lookout, or any 3/10 4/10 ded site? Or only the ones listed in the combat site section of the video? Thanks again for the amazing content.
So depending on your skills and your understanding of the game mechanics you xan run all the 3/10s and 4/10s in any space the escalations not so much the vexor just doesn't have the output to clear it before death. You are also going to find blood space and the 3 & 4 a challange
I usually see a lot of ships using a Damage Control, I saw the vexor you showed didn't have one, can you explain why some fits would rather not use a damage control and when its generally acceptable to use one?
Damage controls provide omni damage resistance we need to tank for a specific kind of damage so rather than waste a low slot for a lower boost to resistance i use 2 specific hardners instead. Hopefully that helps 😀
Your still adding resistances that you don't need depending on the space your flying in you will only ever need 2 set damage resistances kinetic thermal for gallentee and caldari space, em and thermal for minmatar and amarr space. So adding a lower omni resistance over the 2 specific types is counter productive. 😁
Another question: I fitted the Vexor, but I can not fly into Angel Hideouts.... Can you recommend me a Destroyer and fitting for nearly 100 Mio Isk ? That can also clear 04/10 ? Dont have much more ISK at the moment :( Thank you ;)
Going to be trying this method out as it seems a lot more fun than mission running. If you get an escalation, do you go straight to that escalation or do you save them all for after the route?
I have to strongly disagree with killing the biggest targets first. Pound for pound, the smaller ships do more damage compared to their toughness so you can reduce the incoming damage a lot faster by eliminating the smaller ships first. That being said there's also your volley damage to consider, so if it takes you the same number of volleys to kill a cruiser as it does a battlecruiser then you should obviously kill the battlecruisers first. Damage completely aside there's also ewar to consider as they multiply the strength of the gang against you so even if they aren't the smallest or do the most damage you might want to kill them first too. So as you can see there's a lot more to target priority than just killing the thing that does the most damage first.
My mother died, and then I lost another close family member, then my dog died, and my health took a turn for the worst, all in all I've struggled to find the time to do anything and I've tried to get myself out this rut but I keep getting knocked back down
Enjoying your videos & subbed. Just got a couple of questions/suggestions. 1) Could you show ur drone box, so we can see which drones you send out or can you advise which drones you use for what type of enemy? i.e. why you chose those drones for the fit? 2) I know you have said that manually flying is the best way to do it and you click in space to move your ship, but you could be a little more specific? i.e for example, I click to the left of the ship and the next click is 4 secs later to the bottom of the ship, etc. I have tried manually orbiting and I can't seem to get that orbit to work well, all I end up doing is traveling in a straight line or moving away from the target, lol! 3) When you select the waypoint, which option do you have selected for the map (I assume security status). How can you plot those points + figure out the dead-end branches? I kinda have to look for the color to figure out the 0.5 system and then sometime my route might end up running through a low sec system or trig invasion system plus it's so hard figuring out which systems connect in a 3d space. 4) Also, how do you check if the systems you're going to are going to have the same pirates that you are fitted against i.e. you are only in systems with serpentis NPC? Hope I was clear with the questions? Thanks for all the vids & keep up the good work.
Wow! Now those are some questions lol DelRaye I am off to work in 20 minutes and I want to answer this properly and completely. Could you stop by my stream tonight i start at 19:30 UK time and I will go through each of your questions. 😀
@@BonkersY2K thx for responding. Lol! What can I say, I'm easily confused😜. Only problem is I'm in New Zealand, & that's a bit early for me but I can try & come by later.
Thanks for answering my questions, 1) just to clarify, in the fit for the Vexor you have linked, you have both integrated hammerheads & ogres plus hobgob 2 are listed but in your response, you said you only use 1 type of drones, so which drones are the ones you use?
Is there a sensible improvement to use a VNI instead of the classic vexor? VNI has more bonuses, particularly that cute "7.5% bonus to armor repair amount"
Been wanting to hop back into the game after a long break. Is shinying up to a Vexor Navy Issue bringing much value? Or any other alpha friendly ships that might be better / faster / safer for the job if the isk / skill point budget is larger? I've just always found the vexor hull abit dull.
So upgrading to the VNI will provide some increases in performance its main advantage is that as a an alpha with this setup you have access to the 4/10 sites which I dont believe is normal within the grasp especially not 3 weeks into the game
working on it I promise. (Edited) the newest one is up Luca I would ask at the end of this video ive made a disclaimer about the trig sites can you watch this before pushing for the trig tutorial if it is still a video you want to see then not a problem but just incase.
do you collect the escalations then do them all at once or do you prefer to run them the moment they appear? i dont know how i prefer it, because these escalations are there for a few days right?
@@BonkersY2K ahh that makes sense, thanks, was kinda hoping to have one ship for combat sites and lvl 3 mission running, but a vexor is cheap anyways :D
For a ship to be in a condition suitable for undocking requires that there are no modules fitted which require more power than the ship can provide, whether they are online or not. For your safety we limit the amount of power potentially usable by all online or offline modules on your ship to double the total power output of your ship. Double the total power output of your ship is only 1680.0 but your modules require 2752.0 power units. Please unfit enough modules to rectify this situation.
This means you don't have the required skills to use this ship properly, look at my video the Magic 14 this will give you an idea of what skills you might be missing 😉
I have a question; where'd you get the overview from? I've still got the default UI for mining and combat and such. Did you make it or is there some way to get a better one in game?
This is great, what would you suggest for a similar ship but for Omega pilots? I am thinking of trying this fitting, getting used to it then upgrading straight into the Hecate.
I would suggest the same thing. The increased capabilities of the vni are significant i used the normal vendor to keep costs low but if you went all out on a vni ramping this up it would quite easily run the 4/10 and potentially the 5/10s too just make sure your using the right hardners for your relevant space
ok new question...i got your overview profile loaded up...but now im stuck on a mission that wants me to blow up a generator but its not shown in any of the tabs...is this something thats not suppose to be in tabs because they were shown on the default overview travel tab or whatever that first one is
Hey Bonkers, nice video as always, thank you! Just a quick question... Can you please reexplain better the route planning first part you did on the video ? Because probably I miss something but I don't really get when u say about the distance (sorry English is not my first language, thank you)
Hi man, thanks for the video. Maybe I'm doing it wrong but my farm isn't qute as efficient. I struggle finding combat sites amongst the 3 you listed and even when I do I never pop escalation so the revenues are very little. Is there something I'm missing? I really find WH scanning more lucrative from what I tried.
Might be worth joining the discord bud we have a good little group and they can help I've been struggling recently to get back to videos and games in general with the passing of my mum
3/10 4/10 and watchs if your in caldari space you can run the hideout and other space the lookouts vigils are doable but you will need to be competent in the ship
I copied the exact fit on a Vexor Navy Issue, but because of the extra low slot you get to fit an extra armor hardener, its still cap stable. You also get more tank in general and more drones. Is there any reason besides price you shouldn't swap out the vexor for a VNI?
It was literally a price based decision as a new player your given a vexor for free if your training into it the difference is 18 mil vs 70 so its a significant jump. But this was the only reason :)
so you said near the beginning of the video that the skills needed to do this would take about 3 weeks to learn for i guess the basics....since i dont know much about this game..where would i go to find the skills needed to do this and the order i would need to train them also ive been watching youtube videos and streams and was wondering how you get the color/tabs in the overview screen and how to filter them...is there like an import/export thing you can do to make mine look like someone elses?
Hi Magnum, thanks for your comment, so the overview is one i made but to answer your question yes you can use other peoples. I have made mine readily available in the Public channel in eve, if you join #The Nuthouse you will see it linked into the description. As doe the skills I would recommend importing the fit into Eve and then looking at what the skill requirements are as unfortunately I cannot see your skills. I would recommend putting some time into your engineering skills as well for better capacitor control and fitting room though.
@@BonkersY2K one other question well maybe a two part question....if i was gonna make an alt(knowing i cant play on both at the same time cause alpha) to start training skills in case i ever wanted a second account....would you recommend making the pilot the same empire as the other account....and is it worth it to actually have a second account(especially if they are both alphas).. also thanks for the answers already
The sites your scanning for are listed in the wiki in the description they are the 3/10 and 4/10s the anomolies are run as an extra chance of escalations
Its dooable I would highly recommend learning to do it though it is a skill that will massively help you in other areas of the game but to answer your question a 5k orbit should keep you over 75% speed if its not about 75% increase to 7500
The on screen pop up you get saying "Cargo Container" In multiple colours, Is that a mod/add on? I've only just started trying to do this is my cormorant (I'm low skill and poor so cant unlock anything better yet) for about a day or so now but haven't been able to loot anything but ships. Thanks for the video though i look forward to trying this when i get better ships unlocked!
No its a thing you can do in eve that lets you set different things different colours. If you join the public channel "#The Nuthouse" you will see an overview you can click that will change yours to the same :)😃
@@BonkersY2K Man that is already so much better and i've had it all of 30 seconds. Thank you so much! I've already subbed for the content so I'll spam a few people with your channel link instead, as your content is very helpful. Thank you agian mate
I tried non-scan Combat Sites and saw a ton of other people doing them. Do those also give escalations? I did several and they are basically T1 missions, so I'm wondering if they are worth it in any capacity.
they do give escalations but the drop is random they alsso have a chance to spawn faction NPC's which is nice. The reason i suggested running only the hideaway and refuge non combats is that these are the ones that drop most commonly Scout Outposts and stuff
Update: Good God I should probably do this at another time. I've earned negative 45M ISK net just because I got my 2 Moas instantly blown up trying to warp away from a Triglavian invasion. Lost a Moa yesterday lost a Moa today. Lost my measly 7M haul which adds insult to injury but I'm not sure if I'm more upset that I lost the money or that it took me 30+ hours of gameplay to scrap together only 7M haul (+7M in bounties, 14M total for 30 hours work) with this method. Without those lucky 40M+ drops, I'd get 6x more money by sitting afk inside a Venture. I thought the rare drops would come easier but I've done the 2 escalations I got (only 2 escalations in over 150 jumps) and both of them gave me
All this work with VNI or Gilla? I just moved to HS from Null and is a bit strange.. So many neut's if you know what I mean. Good job with tutorials. Cheers! 🍻
Hey, depending on your skill levels I'd check out the new build otherwise if your in the level of gila and vni they will work its just not as efficient, it's why this version was aimed at newer players
@@BonkersY2K I have almost 18m SP on main acc and 8.1m on alt. I can use this fit with my alt in few hours.. He's full focus to mining for moment. With my main I can fly Ishtar in few days so is something :)
Like others have commented, your content is probably among the best in EVE atm. However, your "game quality" is kinda odd. It's very hard to read letters what it says on 1080p, despite video overall feeling extremely crisp in quality. Maybe you use a too large of a resolution and should scale down? o.o
I will work on that sorry about that still learning I plan on fixing my obs stuff on Sunday I just need to work out how to use stream elements. Any tips would be amazingly helpful. My discord is in the description. Sorry to ask. Thank you for your feedback though im glad its helpful
So does this still work? What is he actually doing because he states he is doing xxx Hideaway and xxx Refuge sites for the escalations but also i think there are Hideaways and Refuges that you do not need to scan for. Are those working too or not?
This still works although I do have a newer video out. refuges and hideaways are the anomolies in your probe scanning window that show up as green by default no scanning required. Also its not xxx hideaway xxx refuge, your not paying any attention to the ones with stuff before them just guristas hideaways/refuge serpentis hideaway/refuge sansha etc, not hidden or anything like that
How do you find these? It seems like every single system has 20-400+ people just sitting there scanning down each combat site. Ive only found one that fits your criteria in 2 hrs and somebody was already there..
Make your route bigger alot of people have been saying the same thing but then when you review their route their only look in 20 jumps sticking to 1 region and giving up after 20 jumps I dont find hardly any people out in Amarr space doing these or in minmatar space its as if people are only looking at the region I suggested and then giving up. I hope that helps as everyone that I have told to increase their route ranges seems to start finding success 👍
Cool video, and i will certainly try this, but one thing bothered me, you said I could get 85 mil by mining veldspar for 40 minutes each day for "1 week and a half", this does not sound right to me, considering veldspar is really cheap, I'm not sure you can do that much isk/hour to make 85 in 1-2 weeks. Can you explain further? Thanks.
so you can mine 2 million units of concentrated veldspar with T1 mining lasers in around 3 hours with venture bonuses, 2 million units of concentrated Veldspar is 45,980,000 total (22.98 isk per unit) so over 6 days this would average at 45 minutes a day totalling 92,000,000 :) Hope this helps. I would suggest going to a 0.6 system for this however with an abundance of belts as in the higher systems
@@BonkersY2K Sorry, it doesn´t feel right: 2 million units of concentrated veldspar is about 200.000 m3, with basic skills a venture can fill its hold in 18 minutes, that is, 3 holds per hour, 9 in three hours. one would need to mine continuously for 13 hours to get this amount, which is about 2 hours per day per week. I mean, its not unthinkable, but its not as fast as you´ve said. Thanks for the fast response.
It will if you factor in the guns but these aren't needed to complete the sites, i used them more to pull aggro and make things just a little faster however they only add 20ish dps
@@BonkersY2K those 2 months were for a day 1 omega, i don't know what's the time needed for a fresh alpha. But the fit works very well :) and i am just unlucky.
Yeah its about 4 weeks for an alpha if you start as Gallente, i was gonna say that I'm sure the t2 guns would be a little longer but didn't factor in Omega bonuses. A certain element of luck and perseverance is needed when doing this. Make sure you give yourself a long route and bounce between Gallente and Caldari space to maximise your odds. 👍
@@BonkersY2K yeah to long route isn't the problem, people taking the sites are hahaha. On the other hand getting the combat site is also an rng factor, i'm mostly getting wormholes.
I am working on an alpha build for each starting race but it isn't easy I will provide something as soon as it passes my tests I do like putting out something that I cant replicate consistently as this does new players no good and if anything makes the overall experience less enjoyable
If you import the fit into the game and click show required skills, it will give you a list of the skills you need to fly the ship and use the modules you then need to expand on those starting with the M14 skills and then the wider compensation and dps skills.
hello there sir my problem is that i couldn't find "True Sansha Thermal Armor Hardener" and "True Sansha Kinetic Armor Hardener" they don't exist at all in the local market nor the federation I'm in (Gallente) what could be the solution to this issue? thankyou
Go to the search and type in Thermal and search for just this then you should find a thermal hardner II, show info on this and then when it opens a new window click on variations this will list all the possible versions of it including the sansha one. The reason it's not as straight forward to find is because ccp in their infinite wisdom decided it was a good idea to change the name of some items after almost 20 years... lol needless to say, it broke alot of fits. Anyway I hope this helps you out
@@BonkersY2K thankyou so much for the fast reply^^, btw are the thermal armor hardners II the same as the sansha ones? because i could not find the sansha ones xD
No the faction hardners are better by about 5% which is huge on the scale of things I'm looking after my little girl but give me 20 minutes and I'll have the name of the item for you :)

Luved your post , subed cuz YOU are the Mentor for Alpha . From now on first thing I do when coming to RUclips is checking your channel .Thank you for helping Alphas !
Thanks I appreciate that, I should have some new stuff going up today had some rendering issues last night :(
Agree good posts and very helpful to the point where I stat spending money lol. I think the navy and fraction stuff would help massively for small ships. Skills is another important aspect as I tried same fitting and got killed a few time. Lost all my savings and ships ha ha ha. Probably is time for me to quite lol
I'm working on a video that will give you several options when starting out hopefully its helpful
@@BonkersY2K Same problem like Salivo , and system wont let me lvl skills no more so I shall buy them alpha injectors. Very expensive , maybe I gotta quite .....cuz I aint ever gonna pay real money for a game like this :D
So are you maxed as an alpha? 5 million sp? If that's the case you might be stuck a little as you cant train anything else
Good job with explaining this in a way newbies can understand, but there is one thing to improve on this
If you have repaid for ur ship, buy some scanning implants to boost scan strength and reduce scan deviation. As Alphas have limited skills, they will need all the help they will need. Other than scanning implants, Alphas can use armor, shield or navigation implants to help with the tanking. The implants for scanning aren't exactly bank-breaking, total less than 1 million for the deviation and strength implants
Thats not a bad bit of advice
Keep it up. I am new to Eve and fresh guides are always good to find o7

Tbh dude, I've watched your other video, and have never done escalations, even though I'm a veteran from 2006. I want to thank you for doing this for new players, and in my case, older ones. Awesome guide! Hopefully, I catch you stream sometime.

Thank you so much I try my best and your comment means so much,
Hello there!
Thanks so much for such a great comment, 👍
Bro you content is amazing. Most of the players ignore and look down HS players. Please keep it.
Thank you so much for your comment I really appreciate it 😊
This is excellent, I can't quite use T2 Drones orT2 medium hybrids because I don't have skills trained, but regular drones and 200mm Prototype Guass Gun seems to work just as well. Thank you so much for the guide, I learned quite a bit about manual piloting, transverse velocity, scouting and the true power of the Cruiser-class ship. So far, I've knocked over one Serpentis narcotics warehouse.
There fantastic ships and highly under rated, im glad it was helpful 👍

Thanks so much! Welcome back to Eve lots to catch up on for sure! o7
I dont know if that makes sense, but just to clarify I do agree with you in normal circumstances your priority is right 👍
thank you for not talking quiet like all of the other eve youtubers do TY!!
Sure thing 😅

Great video. Maybe as a side note, to more trained alpha accounts. They can use T2 hardenerss. They are cheaper, with same resists.
This is true but I believe to use to hardness does either require a cpu implany or dropping the drone high slot which for kiting purposes can prove problematic
Love your videos man soon you ll grow big on youtube😉

You really explained everything I needed.. Thanks
Your most welcome 😀
Thanks for the video but I am a noob and I'm confused about what sites I should go to :/
In 10:56 you say I should be looking for hideaways and refuges, in 13:24 you say I should be looking for the vigil and the scout outpost, in 13:35 you say the stuff on the screen (scout outpost, guerilla grounds, relay outpost, narcotics warehouse, collection point)
I know I am probably a moron, but could someone help? I tried doing this and I usually only find refuges and hideaways which give me like 100.000 isk of loot.
So The refuges and Hideaways are the green anomolie you dont have to scan down, you should be running these while you are using your probe scanner and looking for Combat Signatures, these would be the 3/10 and 4/10s i referenced :) Hope that helps

An alpha can do everything you did in this vid and the other one in a T1 destroyer (up to 3/10 Dens etc) vigils and watches any T1 combat cruiser.Drake or Praxis for 5/10 :)

Hey man tried looking through comments, but couldnt find anything. Is it worth salvaging running these or no? Great vids mate, keep em coming!

If your going up to the VNI then absolutely the t2s should be fine as the Hull bonuses will off set it
@@BonkersY2K Thanks mate! one more thing, whats currently your drone settings? Passive, agressive or FF?

@@BonkersY2K aye captain! I must say that from experience and from someone that hasnt played eve for a long time, i have managed to run already a couple of anomalies with only a few drones out. Great Video, thanks for the Guide.
Do you have a fitting for other Factions?
Would be interested in a Caldari one.
Not yet but I will see what I can do
Hey so I copied your fit from your description, but when trying it out I had much lower drone DPS than you do despite me having the skills to operate them.
That'll do it lol, glad I could help get that sorted 👍
Question about the engagement order, I'm newish and also in a kitey jackdaw and only doing 4/10s.
However I engage in a different order: Towers>Loot ships>Frigs>destroyers>Cruisers
My reasoning is if I can take 5 frigs worth of fire off field in 1 salvo doesnt that make the battle space safer than allowing them to attack me while grinding down a cruiser or bigger?
@@BonkersY2K Will keep it in mind! Funny coincidence that I was just about to look for my first DED site to test a new ship.
The method still works unfortunately the practice to aquire your first ship has changed due to the recent ore changes but the numbers are still staying the same and in quite a few cases better than what I could produce as they had more time to do it
Hey!
Nice vid! I have a few questions :)
Are you looting all wrecks in all sites or only in escalations?
Are the big loots only in escalation or in scanned sites also?
If your escalation goes to low sec then you ignore it?
Thank you!
Hey thanks for your comment,
I only loot the prize wrecks, the loot is in all the combat sites, if it goes to low i ignore it.
It should not be taking you days to earn enough to buy a 15 mil ship! I mean firstly if you do the npe you get it for free in about 3/4 hours! Lol
Brilliant video, tysm for it.
😊
Thanks!
Not a problem at all glad its cleared up the confusion 😜
What's the strat for using drones here? From the footage, it looks like you just use hobs, so what's the purpose of the hammerheads and ogres?
Hammerheads for the cruisers and battleships if you get far enough along that you can run the 4/10s and Ogres for the structures
Thanks for the tip though 😉
@@BonkersY2K makes sense, what about versus a multispectrum membrane, the one that gives all resistances on armor only?
Your still adding resistances that you don't need depending on the space your flying in you will only ever need 2 set damage resistances kinetic thermal for gallentee and caldari space, em and thermal for minmatar and amarr space. So adding a lower omni resistance over the 2 specific types is counter productive. 😁
Another question: I fitted the Vexor, but I can not fly into Angel Hideouts.... Can you recommend me a Destroyer and fitting for nearly 100 Mio Isk ? That can also clear 04/10 ? Dont have much more ISK at the moment :(
Thank you ;)
The cexor can clear 4/10s, there restricted to battlecruisers and below. The hideout isn't a 4/10 it's an unrated complex
Going to be trying this method out as it seems a lot more fun than mission running. If you get an escalation, do you go straight to that escalation or do you save them all for after the route?
I usually save them unless there on my way, you have 24 hours to run them so no major rush
What resolution do you stream at? I just noticed it doesn't fill my screen unless I stretch it words kind of hard to see on a phone figured 720p?
1920x1080
So what happened to @BonkersY2K that no longer streams EVE Online videos?
My mother died, and then I lost another close family member, then my dog died, and my health took a turn for the worst, all in all I've struggled to find the time to do anything and I've tried to get myself out this rut but I keep getting knocked back down
Sorry to hear that. I’ll keep you in my prayers
I appreciate that I really do I just need time to get my head right if that makes sense

Thanks for answering my questions,
1) just to clarify, in the fit for the Vexor you have linked, you have both integrated hammerheads & ogres plus hobgob 2 are listed but in your response, you said you only use 1 type of drones, so which drones are the ones you use?
Hey Mate, question on the Denny tracking.... why 2x of each scrip? Wouldn't the two types cancel each other out? What am I missing?
Nope one adds range one adds tracking speed they don't cancel each other out instead you get a 100% bonus to each

Stepping up into the VNI makes sense as you move up the ladder you can then upgrade modules and drones
@@BonkersY2K Awesome, cheers!
No problem
Hey Bonkers…I can’t fit all of the gear on my Vexor. Running out of CPU. Do I need lvl 5 CPU mgmnt or some other leveled skill to make this work?
Yeah put some time into the powergrid and cpu skills
Where are more videos!!!!!!!!! lol Next how do you do Abyssl sites? :) #more tutorials please
working on it I promise. (Edited) the newest one is up Luca I would ask at the end of this video ive made a disclaimer about the trig sites can you watch this before pushing for the trig tutorial if it is still a video you want to see then not a problem but just incase.
Out of curiosity: Why the explosive hole? Do you not do much in Minmatar space?
It was a mistake one that I did fix in the comments 😉
Thanks! Didn’t notice that, I’ll be sure to check it out. Thanks for the video and setup, as well!
Not a problem 👌
Why do you say Only do Refuge and Hideaways but then you have this longer list of outpost, relays, warehouse? Are those the names of the escalations?
No these are the names of the combat signatures these are what you are scanning for with the probes
do you collect the escalations then do them all at once or do you prefer to run them the moment they appear?
i dont know how i prefer it, because these escalations are there for a few days right?
I run them when I get them then return to my route
@@BonkersY2K ah ok thank you =)
Sure thing
thank you!!! I didn't see opening any cargo box to loot, is there a way to loot quicker than doing that for every ship that drops something?
The MTU will scoop everything for you so you only need to open it once other than that no not really 😔
Is the drake too big/do heavy missiles apply to bad to the numerous frigates to do ded hunting?
I see it mostly done by cruisers
The drake is too big for this as it is a Battlecruiser it will not get into the sites, you need to be in a cruiser or below
@@BonkersY2K ahh that makes sense, thanks, was kinda hoping to have one ship for combat sites and lvl 3 mission running, but a vexor is cheap anyways :D
Mhm its a very capable ship 😉
I made it myself, im happy to share it with you and you can alter it as you see fit, whats your ingame name
@@BonkersY2K AlwaysAShadowWalker, thank you so much!
Anytime 😊
This is great, what would you suggest for a similar ship but for Omega pilots? I am thinking of trying this fitting, getting used to it then upgrading straight into the Hecate.
My suggestion would be a vexor navy issue with upgraded modules as you are no longer limited, the higher the dps and range the more efficiency
I would suggest the same thing. The increased capabilities of the vni are significant i used the normal vendor to keep costs low but if you went all out on a vni ramping this up it would quite easily run the 4/10 and potentially the 5/10s too just make sure your using the right hardners for your relevant space
ok new question...i got your overview profile loaded up...but now im stuck on a mission that wants me to blow up a generator but its not shown in any of the tabs...is this something thats not suppose to be in tabs because they were shown on the default overview travel tab or whatever that first one is
Add large colidable objects that shod fix it but it should be a square in space thats wiggly
Hey Bonkers, nice video as always, thank you! Just a quick question... Can you please reexplain better the route planning first part you did on the video ? Because probably I miss something but I don't really get when u say about the distance (sorry English is not my first language, thank you)
Sure thing it will be in the live stream on Thursday :p
@@BonkersY2K tyvm buddy ;)

Hi man, thanks for the video. Maybe I'm doing it wrong but my farm isn't qute as efficient. I struggle finding combat sites amongst the 3 you listed and even when I do I never pop escalation so the revenues are very little. Is there something I'm missing? I really find WH scanning more lucrative from what I tried.
Might be worth joining the discord bud we have a good little group and they can help I've been struggling recently to get back to videos and games in general with the passing of my mum
@@BonkersY2K Oh man I'm sorry for your loss I didn't know. Thanks for the quick anwser I'll join the discord.
No problems 😊
With this fit i can make all the combat anomalies from high sec including vigils? and DED 3/10-4/10?
3/10 4/10 and watchs if your in caldari space you can run the hideout and other space the lookouts vigils are doable but you will need to be competent in the ship
can i replace tech 2 drones with "integrated" or "fedaration navy" drones?
Yup :)
@@BonkersY2K k thanks
Not a problem 👌
@@BonkersY2K did my first run. i got nothing:(
@@nanr1686 that's normal but perseverance is key
I copied the exact fit on a Vexor Navy Issue, but because of the extra low slot you get to fit an extra armor hardener, its still cap stable. You also get more tank in general and more drones. Is there any reason besides price you shouldn't swap out the vexor for a VNI?
It was literally a price based decision as a new player your given a vexor for free if your training into it the difference is 18 mil vs 70 so its a significant jump. But this was the only reason :)
@@BonkersY2K Ah alright. I've got one more question; what do you do if you get an escalation in nullspace?
Ignore it move on to the next one
so you said near the beginning of the video that the skills needed to do this would take about 3 weeks to learn for i guess the basics....since i dont know much about this game..where would i go to find the skills needed to do this and the order i would need to train them
also ive been watching youtube videos and streams and was wondering how you get the color/tabs in the overview screen and how to filter them...is there like an import/export thing you can do to make mine look like someone elses?
The sites that we are looking for are not clear, you mention about scanning hideaway and refuges, arent they anomalies that need no scanning ?
The sites your scanning for are listed in the wiki in the description they are the 3/10 and 4/10s the anomolies are run as an extra chance of escalations
Hey man, Awesome video really helpful, If i'm not good with manual orbiting, would it be suicide to mainly orbit at 5k with this exact fit?
Its dooable I would highly recommend learning to do it though it is a skill that will massively help you in other areas of the game but to answer your question a 5k orbit should keep you over 75% speed if its not about 75% increase to 7500
So can we work this fit without the guns?
Yep, the guns are just there for aggro purposes, I threw them on there as I hate having empty slots lol
if i may ask. why you use a vexor and not the VNI?
Because the vexor is cheaper i was factoring in cost into the build but upgrading to the VNI is a sound move if you can afford it 😉
The on screen pop up you get saying "Cargo Container" In multiple colours, Is that a mod/add on?
Glad its helped
Should I bring extra drones in my cargo bay or just pay attention?
You can only carry as many as you can in your drone bay. If you put them in your cargo bay you cant move them across
@@BonkersY2K Cool thanks for the info! This is super helpful!
Is there any replacement for the t2 rail guns? I can't use them.
The guns can be replaced for T1 there not needed especially, there just for grabbing aggro from the npcs that are far away
@@BonkersY2K alright thanks
Question: If an escalation shows up in low sec, will it have a higher chance of dropping higher grade loot?
Not always
I personally don't bother with them for the risk reasons
Do you have any other Fitting? This is a little to expensive for me (I dont have enough ISK for that^^)
Take a look as my ded run challenge lol
On a serious note I am working on a new solution for day 1 players to help
what do you do if your are overloaded do you just dump it at a station and then carry on and come back and collect it after?
Yup, usually I won't have more than the cost of the ship in loot to ensure that the cost is kept down if a gank does work
Cool video, and i will certainly try this, but one thing bothered me, you said I could get 85 mil by mining veldspar for 40 minutes each day for "1 week and a half", this does not sound right to me, considering veldspar is really cheap, I'm not sure you can do that much isk/hour to make 85 in 1-2 weeks.
One thing about this fitting - it takes about 2 months with a fresh clone, some 2 mil SP.
Did you praise Bob? 😆 yeah RnG is a pain lol
What would you recomend to use on a cldari cruiser?
I am working on an alpha build for each starting race but it isn't easy I will provide something as soon as it passes my tests I do like putting out something that I cant replicate consistently as this does new players no good and if anything makes the overall experience less enjoyable
what are the exact skills you used for this could you please list them?
@@BonkersY2K its okay thank you so much for answering my questions ^^ you are awesome and family always comes first im in no rush : )
Ok the item your looking for is 'True Sansha Kinetic Armor Hardner' I have it open in game, its orange with a green circle in the top Left corner
Could you please post the skills needed for this alpha fit?
If you import the fit from the workbench it will show you the skills required to fly it in the fitting windows 😉
