Best videography of any model railroad on RUclips. Excellent focus control with butter-smooth panning. Good, simple lap dissolve transitions with no gimmicks. Your ECUs of the Climax are great. Well done. At last, someone who understands how to photograph model railroads.
If this is supposed to be Stone Mtn, GA, it is a very bad misrepresentation. I was there and rode the train around the mountain about 30 years ago. here were NO tunnels.
The sad fact is this is a nearly 9 year old video. I still like it though. I just want a Bachmann Climax for my Kansas River and Southern, but their out of production.
Do what you're already doing. Watch videos, especially "how to" videos, and there are a lot of magazines for beginners. Read them all as there's much to consider.
I adore the Climax, all of the equiptment looks be so real. Very amazing. Did you scratch build any of the equiptment freight or passenger? And please tell me the Gauge. I personally can't understand anyone who would ever give a thumbs down to such a beautiful creative artistic masterpiece. Those must not enjoy trains or they are jealous of what you have created. Please remember Everyday is a Great Day to Run A Train.

Thanks for watching, but no, it isn't named after Stone Mtn, GA, but rather for the overabundance of stone mountains.

Any suggestions for someone who wants to start a layout in On30?

The people who gave this a thumbs down are either jealous or just hate life.
Incredible Layout! As the other guy said before me, the videography is beyond outstanding. It amazes me, just how small that room actually is!
Awesome Modeling... Where did you get your Stone Brick Mold? I have been looking everywhere for a mold like that...
Thank You. All Brickwork was carved by hand.

Very Nice. . . You have done some Great work on this layout. . .. Very Nice.
Nice weathering, nothing shiney, love the imperfect run down look, it really adds the character to make the scenes believable!!!!
The detail so real love it!!!
